Pampered by My Ex's Cousin-Chapter 1208 - 1210: You Fool (Part 4)
Su Teng said, "This time, it’s really a tough problem."
Yao Yiyang didn’t waste any more words with him, reached out to turn on the computer, and booted it up.
The screen was black, with a jumble of chaotic code on it.
He looked at it seriously, suddenly curling his lips into a smile.
Su Teng didn’t understand his smile, "What is it? Why are you laughing?"
"It seems the computer’s owner has offended a master."
As Yao Yiyang spoke, he set down the water cup with his other hand, placed both hands on the keyboard, and began typing away.
While typing, he said to Su Teng, "Go attend to your work, I estimate it will take a while."
"Okay."
Su Teng nodded, then suddenly thought of something and looked at Yao Yiyang again, "But you know the owner of this computer is..."
"Is the boss here?"
Before Su Teng could finish his sentence, a customer shouted for him from outside.
His words were interrupted, and he immediately responded outside, "Hey, coming."
After Su Teng dealt with a customer buying memory sticks and a motherboard, Ji Xiangting raised her wrist to glance at her watch, it had been over half an hour.
She was running out of patience, stepped forward to ask Su Teng, "Su Teng, when will it be ready? Can I take it today?"
Before she finished speaking, a pleasant male voice suddenly came from inside, "It’s done." 𝘧𝑟𝑒𝑒𝘸𝘦𝘣𝑛𝑜𝘷𝑒𝓁.𝘤𝘰𝓂
Soon after, a tall figure walked out, Ji Xiangting and Su Teng both looked over.
In her memory, a guy in a white T-shirt, tall and always seeming a bit melancholic, yet still sunny, hadn’t changed at all.
What had changed was that, with the passage of time, he had gained a bit more of a mature man’s charm.
Ji Xiangting stared blankly at Yao Yiyang, "Yao... Yao Yiyang!"
Upon hearing her say the name, Ji Ruoqian, standing behind her, frowned, "Yao Yiyang?"
Remembering something, she looked at Ji Xiangting in surprised excitement and asked, "Isn’t that the campus heartthrob you used to like in college, sis?"
Not waiting for Ji Xiangting’s response, she then looked at Yao Yiyang starry-eyed, "He’s so handsome."
Ji Xiangting felt utterly embarrassed by her question, turned her face slightly and warned her through gritted teeth, "Shut up."
Then she looked back at Yao Yiyang with a smile and greeted him, "Yao Yiyang, long time no see."
"Mhm." Yao Yiyang lightly nodded at Ji Xiangting, his gaze only swept over her without resting.
It landed back on Su Teng, as he walked over to him and handed him the computer, "The computer is fixed."
His face expressionless, Su Teng felt a chill, opened his mouth to explain, "This is Ji Xiangting’s sister’s computer. I was just going to tell you but..."
Before he could finish explaining, Yao Yiyang had already turned and gone back inside.
Watching him disappear inside, a trace of loss flashed in Ji Xiangting’s eyes. She withdrew her gaze and asked Su Teng, "When did he return to the country?"
Su Teng couldn’t find a reason to refuse answering and replied, "He just arrived yesterday."
Ji Xiangting nodded and then asked, "Did he come to visit or...?"
"I’m not quite sure about that." Su Teng showed a troubled expression and shifted the topic, "Your sister’s computer is ready."
With that, he handed the computer to Ji Xiangting.
Ji Xiangting was perceptive enough not to ask further, reached out to take the computer, thanked him, paid, and left with Ji Ruoqian.
On the way, Ji Xiangting drove without saying a word.
Seeing her expression, Ji Ruoqian didn’t dare say anything but was incredibly curious, holding it in all the way.
(Chapter ten complete, the heartbreak begins...)
