The day before Sienna Thornton went to the Forrester Group, she first went to do a secret inspection of the fastener product division.

Forrester Group only has its headquarters in the pricey Brimfield, while other divisions are set up in various locations based on product type and whether they are for export.

She hurried back to Brimfield with a recording pen, and didn’t mention it when she got home that night, planning to tell Simon Forrester at the Forrester Group the next day when it would be easier to obtain certain data on-site.

She took the executive elevator to the chairman’s floor, which was the second last floor.

As she got out of the elevator, the receptionist looked her way and smiled. Just as Sienna was about to register, she heard the receptionist sweetly say, "Hello, Director Thorne. Chairman Forrester is in his office, do you need me to take you there?"

Sienna Thornton was slightly surprised.

Since Simon Forrester officially assumed the position of chairman of the Forrester Group after the New Year, she hadn’t been to the Forrester Group even once, and naturally did not know this receptionist.

Gavin smiled and walked out, "Are you looking for Chairman Forrester?"

"Yeah. Is he busy?"

"Financial President Rhodes said there’s something to report and just went in."

Gavin knew that their boss adored his girlfriend, never hiding company matters from her, and even canceled a meeting with an important client last week to follow her to Valois. Thinking of this, he felt there was no need for Sienna to wait outside just because Faye was in there, and asked, "Do you need me to take you in?"

Sienna shook her hand repeatedly, "No worries, I can go by myself. But... if I just knock and go in, would it be against protocol?"

Gavin didn’t answer, thinking to himself: Against protocol? Not at all, you’re the protocol of Chairman Forrester.

Of course, he couldn’t say that openly, so he turned and said, "No, Chairman Forrester will be very happy to see you."

He stood up, walked over to Sienna, and brought her in, leading her to sit on the couch, "Why are you here?"

Sienna playfully stuck out her tongue, "There’s something to tell you." Then glanced at Faye, whose face turned pale, and asked Simon Forrester, "I hope I didn’t interrupt?"

Simon Forrester chuckled, "I was just discussing something with President Rhodes. You can wait a moment."

"Alright!"

Simon Forrester took his seat again and concisely told Faye, "Two things. First, finalize next year’s budget by the end of December at the latest; second, January mid-month, issue the annual operation report."

Faye looked troubled, "Chairman Forrester, the time is a bit tight. The finance department is quite busy before the new year."

Simon Forrester asserted firmly, "Figure it out, work overtime if necessary! I want a long vacation after the new year and hope these two things are settled before then. Dragging it to March would be ridiculous."

After saying that, he nodded his chin at the door, indicating that Faye could leave.
