Online Game: Low Drop Rate? I Have a Guaranteed Drop System!-Chapter 220: Return to the Mine, Battle Against the Mechanical Titan
Buzz!
Space energy rippled, and suddenly, over ten thousand Mechanical Golems appeared out of nowhere.
Moments later, the forest around them began to fade, then vanished completely, melting into the surroundings.
It seemed even the Immortal Wood Emperor was afraid Johnnie might attack him again.
"Gone? Is that guy really scared?" Benz ran to where the forest had been, searching in vain. He sounded disappointed. "What a shame about all that Dryad-stone."
Johnnie didn’t care much about it. He knew the forest wouldn’t truly disappear; it had to be somewhere in this space.
As long as Coco fused with this space, the Immortal Wood Emperor still wouldn’t be able to escape.
Johnnie looked down at the pile of Dryad-stone on the ground. He cleared out twenty slots in his inventory and swept them all up.
Dryad-stone could be stacked—ten thousand stones per slot. With these two hundred thousand Spiritual Stones, he could nurture over a hundred Wood-Element law cultivators.
"Let’s move. Head for the Spiritual Stone mine." Johnnie linked up with the Mechanical Golems effortlessly, tweaking their settings again—still immune to normal physical attacks and fire-type magic damage.
Their group surged forward, charging towards the Spiritual Stone ore once more.
It didn’t take long before they ran into another squad of Mechanical Race Battle Mechas.
"Leave them to me." Johnnie said, stepping forward to attack without hesitation.
Only if he took down the Battle Mechas himself would Energy Cores drop.
He could refine these Energy Cores, use them to repair the dark-gold Mechanical Golems, or recharge those that could auto-repair.
Buzz!
His Sword Intent hummed. Hundreds of flying swords flashed through the air, cutting down the Battle Mechas with ease.
Johnnie split his consciousness; his soul and spirit were immediately halved. Now, the number of swords he could control with the Myriad Sword Technique, and their range, were both reduced by half.
On the bright side, his mana point consumption also dropped. Going all out, he could keep fighting like this for about five minutes.
The Battle Mechas were wiped out in an instant, leaving more than three hundred Energy Cores on the ground.
Johnnie handed them all over to the dark-gold Mechanical Golem, letting it refine and repair the cracks in its body.
He’d need the Dark Golden Golem to take on the Mechanical Race Domain.
But even after absorbing more than three hundred Energy Cores, the Dark Golden Golem still wasn’t fully repaired.
Johnnie eyed the damage on its armor. To get it back to peak condition, he’d probably need at least a thousand Energy Cores.
That wasn’t a big problem for him. This whole space belonged to the Mecha Divine Nation—Battle Mechas were everywhere, and there was even a chance of running into a mechanical Domain.
They weren’t in a rush to reach the mine. The group wandered the wilderness and soon ran into another wave of Battle Mechas.
Once again, Johnnie took the lead. His Myriad Sword Technique unleashed a dazzling flurry of sword lights, the ferocious attack wiping out the enemies in a flash.
So strong!
Selene, Helios, and the others were deeply shaken by Johnnie’s power.
Maybe, just maybe, following this human, they really could overthrow the Mechanical Race’s rule. If that happened, they could claim this land for themselves and build up their own faction...
In less than half a day, Johnnie had slaughtered over three thousand Battle Mechas, plus a huge number of mechanical dogs, Mechanical Golems, and other monsters—most of them cut down by his Cosmic Eclipse Blade.
The passive damage and attack speed of the Cosmic Eclipse Blade had stacked over a hundred times, giving his combat power another significant boost.
Johnnie left behind a Mechanical Golem, easily taking control and commanding it to attack him, keeping himself in a constant state of battle.
All the Energy Cores he had collected were used to restore the energy of the dark-gold Mechanical Golem and the other repairable Mechanical Golems.
At this point, all of these puppets had fully returned to peak condition, and Johnnie’s confidence soared.
"It’s time to deal with those three Domains." He looked at Benz and the others, asking, "Do you know anything about those three mechanical Domains?"
Benz nodded and said, "Sir, the three Domains are the Mechanical Titan, the Mechanical Devourer, and the Mechanical Blade. Among them, the hardest to handle are the Mechanical Devourer and the Mechanical Blade."
Benz went on to give a detailed introduction to the strength of these three mechanical Domains.
The Mechanical Titan was much like the one that attacked the Montemar Empire before—an enormous body, mastery of the laws of strength and the Earth-Element, and not to be underestimated.
The Mechanical Devourer belonged to a special race, also not native to the Universe Continent. It wielded the power of a unique Dark Law: black holes!
It could devour any kind of energy, making it nearly invincible. Its only weakness was that it couldn’t resist physical attacks, which made it the perfect match-up for Johnnie.
Then there was the Mechanical Blade, the most powerful of the three. It controlled the laws of the wind element, possessed terrifying sword techniques, and could even summon Mechanical Zerg.
As Johnnie listened to Benz’s explanation, he frowned slightly. Why did this Mechanical Blade remind him so much of a character he’d played in a video game before, the Blade Queen?
These three mechanical Domains were strong, but not unbeatable.
He quickly came up with a battle plan.
The Mechanical Devourer could swallow any energy attack and reflect it back at its enemies. The dark-gold Mechanical Golem was the perfect counter, since Johnnie’s attributes hadn’t yet synchronized, and the Dark Golden Golem had no energy attacks—its strength was all in its body and regular attacks.
It was impossible to kill the Mechanical Devourer, but tying it down posed no problem at all.
That Mechanical Blade warrior could be left to Benz, the Red Carp, and the Mechanical Golems.
The Mechanical Blade was the strongest of the three, and could summon Mechanical Zerg, but any destroyed Mechanical Golems would instantly be restored, more than enough to hold off the Mechanical Zerg.
Benz and the Red Carp could definitely keep it busy.
That left the Mechanical Titan, and Johnnie was confident he could take it down.
"Don’t worry, sir! I can handle keeping that guy tied up, no problem!" Benz replied, full of confidence.
This guy was from the Bull Demon clan, completely different from the Minotaurs of this world, and commanded all sorts of powerful magic. His strength was easily on par with a stage 9, a legendary powerhouse.
The others had no issues, so Johnnie’s group made straight for the Spiritual Stone mine.
On the way, quite a few Battle Mechas tried to stop them, but Johnnie wiped them all out with ease.
Soon, they arrived at the base of the Spiritual Stone mine.
Whoosh!
A savage wind howled, and a terrifying pressure descended. The three mechanical Domains truly hadn’t left—they were still standing guard.
Boom, boom...
The ground shook, and a massive giant appeared. It was the Mechanical Titan.
"Human, you actually dared to come back!" The Mechanical Titan’s voice buzzed as it looked down, full of disdain.
At that moment, the other two mechanical Divine powerhouses appeared as well.
The Mechanical Devourer looked somewhat similar to Demonic Creatures, with a pair of wings on its back, but its whole body was a ghostly blue, giving off an eerie vibe.
As for the Mechanical Blade, it really did remind Johnnie of the Blade Queen he knew—except this guy was male, with eight long, blade-like spider legs attached to his back, staring at Johnnie coldly, a terrifying pressure radiating from his entire body.
Johnnie felt a little uncertain, unsure if Benz and the Red Carp could handle the fight.
But at this point, there was no turning back.
As long as he could kill the Mechanical Titan, he could come help them in time.
"Go!" Johnnie gave the order, striking decisively and charging toward the massive Mechanical Titan.
The Dark Golden Golem and the Red Carp moved instantly as well, launching their attacks on the other two Divine powerhouses.
"Courting death!" The Mechanical Titan’s deep voice echoed, watching Johnnie rush in with absolute disdain, its hand sweeping down with a roar, no tricks or frills.
Johnnie’s expression grew grim; he didn’t dare take it head-on. Demon Wings formed behind him as he shot into the sky, barely dodging the giant hand that came crashing down.
Buzz!
But right after, a terrifying pressure slammed into him, and Johnnie felt his body grow heavy, plummeting toward the ground.
It was a Gravity Domain!
Whoosh!
A savage wind howled overhead and a dark shadow fell. The Mechanical Titan’s hand was coming down again.
With the gravity suppression, Johnnie couldn’t fly, and his speed was massively reduced. He knew that if the Mechanical Titan landed a hit, he’d be dead for sure.
Blink!
He didn’t hesitate, instantly using spatial blink.
Space rippled, and his figure appeared a hundred meters away.
Boom!
The giant hand smashed down, a deafening crash shaking the earth.
"Hmm, spatial displacement skill? Not bad!" The Mechanical Titan grinned with interest, still looking down on Johnnie, his palm splitting the air like thunder. Dozens of phantom hands appeared, sweeping toward Johnnie. The attack covered a huge area—at least a hundred meters, way farther than the maximum distance of Johnnie’s blink skill.
Johnnie didn’t dare let his guard down. He kept blinking, dodging out of the Mechanical Titan’s attack range.
Buzz!
Sword Intent buzzed in the air. The Seven Swords shot out with a howl, seven flashes of cold light slicing toward the Mechanical Titan.
The Swordsmanship Technique for Controlling Swords had evolved into Myriad Sword Technique, and Johnnie could now command flying swords with even more ease, plus the attack range was greater and mana consumption was lower.
His split consciousness and damaged spirit power meant his range was halved, but it still covered five hundred meters—far beyond the Mechanical Titan’s reach.
Clang, clang...
A series of crisp collisions rang out as the flying swords struck the Mechanical Titan, leaving not a scratch.
The Mechanical Titan sneered, mocking him. "Kid, are you trying to tickle me?"
Johnnie ignored him, still commanding the Seven Swords for a full-on assault. As long as the Instant Kill effect triggered, he could finish this guy for good.
Clang, clang...
The sound of impacts continued, and Johnnie kept exactly five hundred meters between himself and the Mechanical Titan, easily dodging every attack.
"Damn it!" The Mechanical Titan cursed. His Gravity Domain was useless against someone with a spatial displacement skill.
And he had no ranged attacks at all, unable to even touch Johnnie from start to finish.
The Mechanical Titan gave up decisively. Let Johnnie attack—those flying swords felt like nothing more than an itch, doing no real damage.
He looked at the other two battlefields.
The Mechanical Devourer and the Mechanical Blade were both tied up, but neither seemed to be in any real danger.
"Mechanical Titan, don’t get careless. This human’s attack has an Instant Kill effect. The last few Domains all fell to him." The Mechanical Blade’s voice was grave.
"What?" The Mechanical Titan exclaimed, frowning as he watched the flying swords whistling toward him, subconsciously backing away.
Clang!
But the swords were too fast for him to dodge, hitting him again.
Still, they did absolutely no damage.
"Mechanical Blade, are you sure this little guy can erase mechanical consciousness?" he asked, glaring suspiciously at the Mechanical Blade.
