Online Game: Crazy Skeleton-Chapter 577 - 554: Clear the Field
Chapter 577: Chapter 554: Clear the Field
"Alright, number two, I’ll take note of that in the future."
The mage player smirked, clearly not taking his second senior brother’s threats seriously.
"You’re done for! We’re drinking at Dragon Gate Tavern tonight until you drop dead! Whoever doesn’t come is a loser!"
After hurling the most vicious curse, the second senior brother disregarded the mage player and scrambled upwards with all his might.
"A drinking game? Don’t think you can handle more just because you think you have a larger stomach for alcohol. I might look thin, but I can really drink!"
Perhaps because the boss had already teleported away and the immediate danger was gone, the mage player seemed quite relaxed and voiced his thoughts jovially.
However, at that moment.
"Crack!"
A bolt of Tribulation Lightning suddenly appeared out of nowhere, attacking the second senior brother’s head with the speed of lightning.
"Damn!"
The Tribulation Lightning exploded on the second senior brother’s chubby head, momentarily stunning him and almost causing him to fall off the cliff.
"Damn, the boss is back!"
"Maybe not, this clearly looks like a lightning-type creature, while the previous skeleton boss was a fire-type. There really seems to be quite a few bosses on Demonic Treasure Mountain!"
"Of course. If there weren’t many bosses, how could it be called Demonic Treasure Mountain?"
"Shut up, careful your chatter brings the lightning onto us!"
The second senior brother, repeatedly under attack, was burning with fury. Seeing the three mage players behind him chattering away, he couldn’t help but utter a curse.
In a strange twist, as soon as his words ended, a black Tribulation Cloud appeared above him. Bolts of Tribulation Lightning rained down, brutally attacking the players below.
"Damn it, second brother, you jinxed us!!!"
"Damn!"
Seeing the situation, the second senior brother quickly pulled a card from his bag, smashing it onto the cliff just before the Wild Thunder attack.
"Bang!"
After the smoke lifted, a lush, tree-like creature appeared on the cliff. Its roots dug into the rock, stabilizing its figure and blocking multiple lightning strikes.
Under the Furious Thunder Rampage, its branches broke, and leaves fell, making for a truly tragic sight.
"Everyone get onto this tree! Use the branches and leaves to avoid the lightning strikes!"
At this critical moment, the second senior brother’s body suddenly became agile and with a flip, he mounted the tree creature. His heavy stature made even the tree’s trunk groan.
"Um, you can go up there yourself, trees conduct electricity, you’re just asking for a quick death..."
The three mage players shook their heads in unison, wishing they could distance themselves from their foolish comrade.
"Crack!"
The Tribulation Lightning flashed and disappeared, this time hitting the roots of the tree creature. After the thundering explosion, even the roots were cut off.
"Ahhhhh!"
With his support gone, the unfortunate second senior brother and the tree creature fell from the cliff together.
"Hiss..."
The remaining three players watched this horrific scene, their hearts pounding in fear. The mentally exhausted men quickly pulled out their Town Recall Scrolls. Three white lights appeared, and these players escaped back to Imperial City in embarrassment.
At this, Su Ran did not have any thoughts of utter annihilation, letting them leave. It saved him time and trouble, and why not?
As for the fatty who fell from halfway up the cliff, Su Ran felt a bit of sympathy for him. Poor guy, the fall was around six stories high. If he survived, he would likely be so scared he would shit himself!
Of course, if he didn’t soil himself, perhaps he had cleaned out his bowels before logging in...
Upon activating Mental Induction, Su Ran easily found that the red dot belonging to the fatty had disappeared from the bottom of the mountain. After locating the position of the Rat Master, Su Ran used Instant Movement and disappeared from his original location.
"Damn skeleton boss! This Demonic Treasure Mountain is too strange. Even a mere Undead can be so monstrous!"
The flustered Rat Master hurried along, his rat eyes alert as he observed his surroundings. He was afraid of encountering another unbeatable boss. While grumbling in anger, he muttered: "I have not even seen the treasure yet and I’ve already wasted an advanced scroll. Such a bad start!"
"Based on the treasure map coordinates, the treasure is right at the top of the mountain. No, no. I need to speed up. If that skeleton boss catches up with me, I won’t be able to deal with it on my own!"
The Rat Master, wrought with worry, quickly scurried towards the top of the mountain. Suddenly, system notifications interrupted his rush, stunning him momentarily.
"What the hell, they all died?"
The Rat Master opened the team list in disbelief, only to find out that apart from him, all the other players had already become gray, or dead.
"Damn, this is not a place we should be at, at this stage!"
The Rat Master clenched his fists in fury, brewing anger in his heart. But shortly after, he revealed a gleeful grin, chuckling to himself: "Good thing they’re all dead, Nobody can snatch the treasure from me, mwahaha!"
"All this wealth belongs to me, no one can take it away!"
The more the Rat Master thought about it, the more excited he became. Unable to contain his excitement, he leaped to the top of Demonic Treasure Mountain and followed the coordinates marked on the treasure map.
He had long memorized these coordinates, and the hidden treasure had been on his mind for some time. Now that he’d reached the top and was only one step away from success, his heart was pounding excitedly. His eyes completely disregarded everything else, focusing solely on the marked location.
"Whoa, I am so lucky! I didn’t encounter a single monster, I can hardly believe it!"
The Rat Master mumbled in surprise. On such an advanced terrain, he had already prepared himself for a series of daunting battles. But everything went smoothly, and he could just breeze through.
Finally,
The Rat Master was in front of the teleportation array. After circling around for a while, his mind was full of questions.
"What’s going on? Why would the treasure map coordinates be on this teleportation array? Could it be that the teleportation array is the key to unlocking the treasure?"
Having had a smooth journey up to this point, the Rat Master hadn’t expected to hit a snag with a teleportation array. He took out a hoe, looking for an appropriate spot to use it, but to no avail.
"This damn teleportation array is so annoying. Whatever, let’s just dig!"
The Rat Master looked worried at this point. He knew he could not stay here long. If any treasure guardian boss appeared, things would get messy. He had to hurry and dismantle the teleportation array as quickly as possible!
With this in mind, the Rat Master’s expression hardened, and after spitting on the ground, he fiercely swung up his hoe towards the teleportation array.
Just then, something changed unexpectedly.
A bolt of Tribulation Lightning descended from the sky and brutally struck the Rat Master’s head. A loud boom rang in his ears, and the unfortunate child was already dazed before he could comprehend what had happened.
