One Piece: Supreme Check-In System-Chapter 88: The Arrival of the Voidreign Pirates
Chapter 88 - The Arrival of the Voidreign Pirates
After a big, messy battle that left the island broken and smoky, something new arrived at the shores of Hachicoso Island. The sun was just starting to rise, and the sky looked red like it was painted with blood.
A big pirate ship was coming across the water. It was bigger and scarier than most ships. Its black sails had a flag with a panda wearing a cowboy hat — the sign of the Voidreign Pirates, one of the most famous and mysterious pirate crews of this new era.
Everyone knew... when that flag showed up, something big was about to happen.
From the big ship deck, Jessie, the captain of the Voidreign Pirates, stood quietly. He looked at the smoking island far away, where a big, important fight had just ended.
A legendary hero had been defeated there.
Jessie gave a small, sad smile and whispered to himself,"I can't believe it... Is this really the end of Garp?"
He felt surprised and a little sad, because he never thought he would see a day like this.
A gust of wind swept through, tugging at Jessie's long coat. But his gaze didn't waver.
"He's not dead yet," he added softly. "Frozen... but I can feel it. That old man's spirit hasn't left. And you, Kuzan, seems like justice still clings to your heart, no matter how far you've drifted."
Jessie gave a sad little laugh and looked away from the fight. Behind him, a sad and beautiful song started to fill the air. Uta stood at the front of the ship, singing softly. Her song was about heroes who didn't come back, about battles, broken promises, and dreams that were left behind.
Uta eyes didn't even glance at the nearby marine ships. She paid no mind to the frightened soldiers huddled on their battered vessels or the bloodied survivors clinging to hope. Her voice only sang for the island, for the tragedy playing out upon its soil.
On one of the marine ships, Koby's eyes got big when he saw a pirate ship getting closer. The flag showed it was one of the strongest pirate crews in the world, and it made him feel really scared. It reminded him of the time he was scared back in Amazon Lily.
"Voidreign Pirates..." he murmured.
Helmeppo, clinging to the mast with terror clear on his face, stammered, "I-It's... It's them... the Emperor's crew... we're done for... we're all gonna be wiped out..."
Some marines muttered prayers, others gripped their rifles tightly, though their hands trembled so hard they could barely aim. Tension crackled in the air like a storm about to break.
Prince, his face grim, drew his sword and barked, "Prepare for battle!"

But Koby stepped forward, holding up a hand. "Stop!" His voice rang out clear and firm despite the tremor in his chest. "They're not here for us. They're headed for Hachicoso."
The men hesitated, looking uncertain, but seeing the resolution in Koby's eyes, they slowly lowered their weapons.
Kujaku frowned. "Another battle..." she muttered. The weight of what they'd just survived was still heavy on her shoulders, and now a new storm was brewing.
Tashigi's eyes narrowed as she noticed something odd on the Voidreign ship. A figure — a swordsman with her eyes closed — sat motionless on deck. When the ship drifted closer, the woman opened her eyes for a fleeting second. Even across the distance, their gazes locked.
It was Guina.
Tashigi's heart skipped a beat. She was shocked because the girl in front of her, Guina, looked just like her — like they were twin sisters. And Guina's sword felt dangerous too. They looked at each other for a moment, as if asking a quiet question, before Guina gently closed her eyes again.
Nearby, Hibari, still trembling from the cold that clung to her body after Aokiji's attack, managed to speak through chattering teeth. "Th-This... this might be our chance... to save Vice Admiral Garp."
Koby's head snapped toward her. "Hibari..."
The marines turned, noticing her trembling but determined figure. Even as frost clung to her, the fire in her heart still burned.
The Voidreign ship sailed closer. But strangely — it didn't attack. The marines braced themselves, expecting cannon fire or a barrage of attacks from the infamous crew, but none came. The colossal vessel passed by the marine ships without even a glance. No malice. No aggression. Only the heavy silence of power that knew it didn't need to acknowledge lesser threats.
The marines, frozen in a mixture of fear and awe, could do nothing but watch as the ship's shadow eclipsed them. Some sighed in relief. Others could barely hold back tears, overwhelmed by both terror and gratitude that they were still alive.
Vash, leaning casually over the ship's rail, peered down at the marine vessels. A grin split his face. "Whoa, look at that. Plenty of fine ladies down there," he remarked, entirely unfazed by the surrounding devastation.
Meruem, standing not far from him, didn't even bother to look. His cold, regal gaze was fixed solely on the island ahead. To him, the marines were nothing but ants — insignificant and irrelevant.
Jessie, still seated calmly, watched as the shoreline came into view. The ruins of Hachicoso, strewn with debris, fallen pirates, and the echo of distant clashes, awaited them.
He shouted to his crew, "Black Eye Panda, Guina, Shirahoshi, Seraphim Hancock - today, you four are going to fight. Go down there and show me what you've learned, Shirahoshi. Let's see how much stronger you've gotten."
The four acknowledged with a sharp nod, no hesitation in their eyes.
The marines on Koby's ship tensed once again as the Voidreign ship drew ahead toward the island, leaving them untouched in its wake. Even so, the oppressive pressure of that ship's aura lingered like a storm cloud above them.
Kujaku swallowed hard. "What kind of monsters... are they?"
Prince exhaled slowly, sheathing his sword. "Be thankful we're not their target."
The crew watched the legendary ship sail past, heading into the heart of a battlefield already soaked in blood and loss. None dared to follow.
Koby, gripping the rail, muttered, "Voidreign Pirates..."
....
In Voidreign ship, Jessie quietly said, "It looks like Blackbeard isn't here. If I remember right, it was supposed to be a battle between Law and Blackbeard. But because of what happened in Amazon Lily, the story changed, and that fight happened earlier. Now, I think Blackbeard is planning to cause trouble in Mary Geoise... but he needs a plan first. It seems like he and the others might be heading to Egghead Island next."
Jessie nodded what he said, and then..
Jessie noticed the four crew members getting ready to move quickly toward Hachicoso. Guina used Moonstep to fly through the air at high speed. Shirahoshi called a giant Sea King to ride on, and Black Eye Panda jumped on with her. Seraphim Hancock spread her black wings and flew through the sky.
Jessie smiled and said with a laugh, "The battle has begun!"
