Chapter 187 - The Man Who Loved Suicide!
When animal-type Devil Fruit users transform, they can't grow back body parts they lose unless they have a special regeneration power.
Mammoth Jack definitely didn't have that power.
He watched the excited Marine playing with his severed tusk. Jack was furious, feeling like his eyes would pop out of his head. He was helpless.
Then, the Marines started eyeing his other tusk with evil grins.
"You bastards!" Jack roared.
He struggled with all his might. If they cut off his other tusk, how could he face Kaido back on Onigashima? Everyone would laugh!
But the Marines clearly weren't going to let him off easy.
Roya picked up a hacksaw, his eyes bloodshot and a devilish grin on his face. The Marines behind him laughed cruelly. They looked at Jack like he was a treasure.
Through the opening in the fortress gate, Jack's men were terrified, their hands and feet freezing cold.
"Demons! They're demons!" one cried.
The Marines in this fortress were more terrifying than pirates! Even pirates, when torturing enemies, would only break an arm or a leg. But these Marines were sawing off Jack's prized tusks! Those were his most prized possessions, which he polished every day to keep their beautiful, jade-like shine.
This is worse than killing him!
His men imagined what would happen if they fell into Marine hands. They probably wouldn't even be allowed to die!
"Lord Jack, hang in there!" one shouted.
"Quick, undo your transformation!" another yelled.
"Marines, you're despicable and shameless!"
"Despicable! Shameless! Despicable! Shameless!" the pirates chanted.
"Hmm?"
The Marine officers tilted their heads, their bloodshot eyes turning towards the gate.
The noisy pirates instantly shut their mouths, looking as blank and stupid as owls. Unable to withstand the officers' murderous glares, some pirates pointed to their companions.
"He was the one shouting!"
"Bastard, you betray me!"
"Everyone was shouting."

Ten minutes later, the pirates were completely wiped out.
Only Jack remained in the fortress, putting up a desperate fight.
Hearing his men's cries, Jack finally reacted. He quickly undid his transformation, desperately protecting his last tusk. But as a human, surrounded by two thousand Marines, breaking free was nearly impossible.

Soon, Jack was covered in sea prism stone chains, unable to transform and his stamina greatly weakened. Even so, his natural strength gave him considerable fighting power. He repeatedly sent Marines flying when they tried to grab the chains.
After an hour of struggling, Jack finally collapsed to the ground, exhausted.

Commodore Overhead and several unit commanders came to Jack, rubbing their fists.
"Big guy, you're good at fighting, huh!" one taunted.
"Being good at fighting is useless!" another said.
"Let me show you G-5 Branch's welcome ceremony!"
"Beat him!"
The men kicked and punched Jack, but after three minutes, nothing happened to Jack. Instead, their own hands and feet were numb from the impact.
Roya frowned. When will these idiots be useful?
"Lu Yun, have headquarters send an escort ship!" he ordered.
"It's already arranged!" Lu Yun replied.
When the battle was already decided more than an hour ago, Lu Yun had informed headquarters that the intruder was a top officer of the Four Emperors, which was no small matter.
Roya nodded slightly. The Beast Pirates had many strong members. After learning that Jack had been captured, they would definitely try to rescue him. He could only feel at ease by sending Jack away as soon as possible.
Whether the escort ship is attacked by the Beast Pirates isn't something I can worry about.
"Hoo~ this battle was really tiring!" Roya said, rubbing his sore shoulders.

"Look, a huge, humanoid-shaped crater appeared in the training ground!"
When the smoke cleared, a huge crater in the shape of a human appeared in the center of the training ground. Something had clearly fallen from the sky.
Roya's pupils shrank, and cold sweat ran down his forehead. He immediately roared, "All Marines, listen up! Leave this island immediately!"
"Eh? Roya Boss?!" one Marine exclaimed.
"Move quickly!" Roya repeated.
"Yes!" The Marines didn't understand why, but trusting Roya, they rushed towards the warships in the port.
"Smoker, you guys leave too!"
"Vice Admiral Roya!" Smoker protested.
"Don't get in the way. Oh right, take my tusk with you. That's a rare treasure, worth at least nine hundred million Belly!"
"Damn it!"
Smoker had already realized the truth. Facing Roya's order, he reluctantly grabbed the tusk and turned to leave.
Without a doubt, it was that man!
Yamato rushed into the training ground, hurriedly arriving beside Roya. She had already sensed that man's aura!
"Roya, it's Father!" she said.
"Yeah, I know."
Roya took a deep breath, dispelling the fear in his heart. He knew he would have to face the ox-horned giant sooner or later.
A large hand reached out from the hole, pressing on the ground. Then, the ox-horned giant with a massive body climbed out from underground.
"Damn it, my head hurts!" he groaned.
"I can't die!"
"When can I finally die!"
The ox-horned giant held his throbbing forehead, his rage-filled eyes sweeping around, landing on Roya, who was standing in front of him with Yamato.
"So it's you, black-haired kid who took away my son!"
"It's daughter, right, Kaido!" Roya corrected.
Roya looked up at the giant, his palms sweating.
The "Strongest Creature," Kaido of the Hundred Beasts!
Every cell in my body is trembling!
"Daughter? Wororororo!!!"
Kaido laughed wildly at the sky, a terrifying aura sweeping out, blowing away everything around him. Even the walls of the fortress cracked. The terrifying power was beyond imagination!
Kaido stopped laughing, his eyes turning to Yamato, questioning, "Yamato, have you finally decided not to become Oden anymore?"
"I don't know!" Yamato responded loudly.
She couldn't understand her feelings of wanting to become Oden, but continuous learning made her realize her previous ignorance. She would figure out the answer sooner or later!

Kaido suddenly covered his face, his emotions changing as quickly as flipping a book. Tears streamed down his face, seemingly happy that Yamato no longer called herself Oden.
He cried for a while.

"Black-haired kid, you've done well!"

Roya frowned. Please, even if you praise me, I won't be happy!
