One Night Stand With Alexander Blackwood-Chapter 80 — Eighty
Alexander and Serena who were responsible for all these were seated in Serena’s bakery.
"I don’t know why you are here." Serena crossed her arms across her chest while shaking her head. "Aren’t you the CEO of a billion-dollar empire? Shouldn’t you be signing contracts now?"
Alexander smiled as he placed one leg above the other. "When my girlfriend would be away from me for the whole day, I dare not take any chances as I will miss her terribly if she is away from me."
Serena’s face heated up as she darted her expression, unwilling to meet his eyes. "Who’s your girlfriend?" She asked, her voice barely above a whisper.
Alexander’s eyes sparkled seeing her red cheeks. He wanted to tease her more. "My girlfriend is a beautiful lady. Smart, resourceful, and extremely cute. When she pouts, I only have the thought to kiss her. When she cries, I hate it. When she smiles, she lights up my world."
The more Alexander spoke, the more Serena’s cheeks reddened. Even the tip of her ears had turned red.
"Alright, that’s enough." She stopped him, covering his mouth. "Do you want Aunt Clara to hear you?"
Alexander’s intense gaze focused on her. She had one knee pressed on him, and there was no distance between them.
"Has anyone ever said you look beautiful when you have a panicked expression on your face?" Alexander asked quietly, brushing a strand of hair away from her face.
Serena blushed... heavily.
All of a sudden, they heard the sound of throat being cleared.
Serena immediately pushed herself off from Alexander before turning to the sound.
"Aunt, I thought you were in the kitchen." Serena laughed awkwardly, arranging her hair. Alexander rose to his feet, coming to stand beside Serena.
"Aunt Clara," he greeted, bowing slightly which pleased Clara.
"And you are?" She asked, throwing a knowing smile at Serena.
"I’m Serena’s boyfriend." Alexander replied with a cool tone, neither servile nor overbearing. "And I’m also a future investor in this bakery... that’s if you’d allow me."
This time, he turned to Serena whose eyes bulged in disbelief and shock, unable to hide her surprise.
"Alex... what are you trying to do?" She stuttered, her lips trembling. Clara, on the other hand, watched the couple, a soft smile dancing on her lips.
"What do you think I’m doing? I’ve told you that I’d always be with you every step of the way." He took hold of her hand, making her face him. "This bakery means a lot to you, and I’ll do everything I can just so you can remain happy."
Serena’s eyes became wet as her gaze remained on him. "You know... you don’t have to do this."
"How about this? I’ll get 20% every month. That way, your mind can be at rest. What do you think?"
"Serena, since he is insisting, just do it. Remember, you’re doing it for your mom’s bakery." Clara chirped in.
Serena turned to her Aunt who gave her an encouraging look.
"Fine." She had no other option than to give in. She needed the investment no matter how she looked at it. "But you can’t go back on your words. You get to have 20% at the end of each month."
"Yes ma’am." Alexander saluted with a chuckle.
"We should go the legal way. I will need to draft up a proposal. That way, you can see that you’re getting your money’s worth."
Alexander nodded satisfactorily. She spoke like a true businesswoman.
"Alright then, Miss. Wilson. I’ll be waiting for your proposal." Alexander played along with her which earned him a light punch from her.
"You both shouldn’t forget that I am still here." Clara smiled and Serena turned to her with an apologetic smile.
Clara shook her head, and thought to herself, ’friend, you can rest easy now. Your daughter is all grown up, and she is in good hands. I’m sure of that.’

Alexander drove out of the bakery after Serena had seen him off. He only left after repeated pleas from Serena. He only left after Serena had initiated a kiss.
Currently, his mind was replaying the kiss, the way her soft lips moved against his. He had one hand on his steering wheel while the other hand caressed his lips.
Suddenly, his phone buzzed snapping him out of his fantasies which caused him to knit his brows in anger.
Without looking at the caller, he picked the call.
"You better have a good reason for calling me." His voice depicted and showed his anger.
"So your Grandfather needs a good reason to call you, is that right, Alexander?" Elias’s voice bloated from the other end of the line.
Alexander froze. He looked at his phone and that was when he noticed that the caller ID was ’Grandfather.’
He laughed softly. "Grandfather, I had no idea it was you calling."
"Whatever, I have something to discuss with you. Do you mind paying this old man a visit? The regular place."
"Yes, Grandfather." Alexander replied solemnly, and disconnected the call.
He turned the car around and drove off.

Underground Teahouse.
Alexander walked into the small, old and shabby building with his hands pocketed. The air smelt like tea... good tea. The walls were painted white, and the chairs were made of bamboo.
Alexander’s eyes swept over the environment till they landed on Elias. He had a neutral expression as he walked straight to him.
"Grandfather," he bowed.
Elias struck his cane on the floor, a sign for Alexander to have his seat.
Both men, two generations apart sat across each other.
"What tea would you like to have?" Elias asked his grandson.
"The usual." Alexander answered.
Elias signaled to one of their servers. The server took their orders, and a few minutes later, he returned.
The two men took a sip out of the tea as silence stretched between both of them. They even had the same posture and expression.
"Alexander, do you know why I wanted to have a chat with you?" Elias started, breaking the silence between them.
Alexander calmly placed the cup on the tray as he answered. "If you don’t let me know about it, how would I?"
Elias chuckled. "You are just like me. I’m satisfied that I have someone who has the same traits as me."
Alexander didn’t reply. He only listened quietly as he picked the cup again. This time, he only brought it to his lips as a complicated look flashed through his eyes.
"Are you and that girl... what’s her na—Ah, yes. Serena. Are you both together?" Elias asked, his gaze fixated on his grandson..
Alexander’s expression cracked as he looked at his grandfather with narrowed eyes. "How did you know?"
