One-Eyed Monster-Chapter 794 - 791: A Gentle Push (Part 2)
Kadi fell silent. Love was a relatively unfamiliar concept to him. He couldn't comprehend it just yet; he needed some time to process it.
Not everyone can understand such a thing, and Kadi was one of them. He was not Igor, who had heard many different love stories. He was a complete blank slate regarding it.
Hence, Kadi couldn't understand the inequality between Xiso and Bigas.
Kadi could only use the universal principle of Equivalent Exchange to judge the relationship between Xiso and Bigas, and it baffled him because neither side seemed to be on equal terms.
In Kadi's view, love was something that muddled things up; it could suddenly transform inequality into equality, which was an extraordinary thing.
The only one who would consider Kadi's question a problem was probably Igor. The other monsters didn't seem to care about Kadi's behavior. In their daily lives, Kadi often raised such questions.
These issues were strange, and it was difficult to articulate what they were about. Moreover, a person with a normal mindset would neither ask such abstract questions nor answer them.
Kadi and Igor belonged to a category of people whose thought processes were quite different from the average person. Therefore, once they started conversing, everybody else was excluded.
Others couldn't participate in the discussion anyway. The topic of their conversation was quite bizarre; although they couldn't pinpoint why it seemed bizarre, it just felt odd.
Discussing the ethereal concept of love at this time seemed somewhat inappropriate. Moreover, those discussing it were two boys who had yet to experience romantic love.
This intrigued the monsters and helped them pass their idle time. They had just reached the peak of their boredom with the story of Xiso and Bigas when Kadi managed to divert their attention. He let them become spectators once more, only this time, Kadi was the focus.
Kadi's question naturally made him the protagonist, and Igor inevitably became the sidekick—the subject of their discussion piqued everyone's interest.
Kadi asked, "How powerful is love? Can it be stronger than Natural Force?"
But how could love be so powerful? He just couldn't figure it out.
This was the subject of his current debate with Igor.
"These two can't be compared. Love is created, but it can be omnipresent like Natural Force," Igor explained.
The onlookers, who had initially been discussing Xiso and Bigas, were now suddenly immersed in talking about love. The shift was so drastic that the spectators felt a bit lost.
Switching topics so abruptly, they found Igor and Kadi's thought processes incredibly wide-ranging and flexible.
Indeed, Igor and Kadi's thinking was expansive, and their conversational leaps significant, as they soon shifted back to discussing Xiso and Bigas.
"You mean that both of them are in love, and that is why they keep repeating the same thing?" It was clear that Kadi had also realized this. He felt there was something odd about the way things were progressing.
He had initially thought the issue was that the Law of Equivalent Exchange wasn't being followed. But now... no, Igor's analysis suggests that's not the reason.
"Love has a strong adhesive characteristic. I guess that's what keeps them in this state," Igor shrugged. This was his conjecture. Even though Xiso always showed indifference, Igor didn't sense any hint of a definitive break; instead, he sensed an indivisible connection lingering in the air.
That was the vibe Xiso and Bigas gave off.
If Xiso were truly unfeeling, he definitely wouldn't shy away from looking at Bigas's eyes.
The fact that he avoided eye contact indicated that Bigas still mattered to him. Moreover, he was so afraid of hurting Bigas that he continuously avoided any eye contact.
Sometimes, a look could reveal everything. Of course, Igor and the others didn't fully comprehend this yet.
Yet, through their chaotic deduction, they managed to draw a conclusion. This, too, counted as an ability—Sol, an ability that was hard to define.
The monsters were all marveling at the fact that even youngsters like Igor and Kadi, who had yet to experience love, could understand what this feeling was. 𝑓𝓇𝘦ℯ𝘸𝘦𝑏𝓃𝑜𝘷ℯ𝑙.𝑐𝑜𝓂
Igor and Kadi were deeply engrossed in their analysis and discussion. They both wanted to put their theories to the test.
"You're saying that both of them still love each other?" Kadi found that hard to believe. Since Xiso had consistently shown a heartless side, Kadi had his doubts.
"That's just my guess. We'll have to validate it," Igor shrugged. He had grown accustomed to this gesture.
"How do you suggest we validate it?" When it came to validation, Kadi was clueless. But Kadi had one advantage: if you told him what to do, he would find a way to accomplish it.
"That's exactly the answer I want as well!" Igor was helpless too. He had thought of many ways, but none had worked.
"Hey, these two fellas are quite interesting!" Kevin, who was standing nearby, suddenly chimed in, mainly because he found Igor and Kadi's discussion both interesting and seemingly logical.
"The thinking of the younger generation does differ significantly from ours!" the Great Mentor suddenly remarked with a sigh.
Igor and Kadi's discussion had shown the monsters a different perspective.
Initially, they thought they were powerless regarding Xiso and Bigas. However, after hearing Igor and Kadi's chaotic analysis, they realized that they could still do something.
That 'something' was the validation that Igor and Kadi were talking about.
As for how to validate, they had their ways.
What were they validating? Of course, it was love—the very thing that Igor and Kadi had been discussing all along!
Verifying whether Xiso and Bigas still loved each other was actually quite simple.
All they had to do was give a gentle push.
Deep down, they all knew the answer. They just didn't want this couple, who loved each other, to part ways in confusion.
Seeing the confused expressions on Igor and Kadi's faces, the monsters of Guru Mountain couldn't help but burst into laughter, "HAHAHAHA, just you two wait and see how miraculous the power of love is!"
