Stan Sol looked shocked. He didn't know why the Great Mentor had mentioned him at such a moment.

Originally, he was grieving. Dastan's sacrifice had made him almost lose control. He had thought Dastan was only captured by these Alchemists, but he hadn't expected them to kill Dastan directly. This infuriated him, so he had released his Fiery Blaze without thinking.

The Great Mentor had restrained his impulse. If it hadn't been for the Great Mentor, he likely would have been subdued by Kuyi Tulan.

Stan Sol calmed down. He then realized that the strength of these people from the Alchemy Workshop was quite unpredictable. This uncertainty stemmed mainly from their Alchemy Array, which granted the Alchemists unpredictable capabilities.

So Stan Sol clearly knew that, given the current situation, the monsters of Guru Mountain and those in Moonflow Stream were not strong enough to contend with the people from the Alchemy Workshop.

This was evident from their previous joint battles. Most of the monsters from Guru Mountain fought individually and weren't as coordinated as the Alchemists from the Alchemy Workshop. Although the individual monsters of Guru Mountain were strong, their effectiveness diminished when facing a collectively organized team. This revealed their disadvantage in terms of stamina during sustained combat.

Dwelling on it wouldn't change anything. Now he couldn't move either, having unknowingly been affected by the Great Mentor's Fog Elixir, which had left him paralyzed.

But he had his spokesperson, Igor. Their rapport had grown to the point where Igor could understand his intentions without Stan Sol needing to write them down.

Stan Sol glanced at Igor, his eyes filled with confusion.

"He wants to know what he can do when the time comes?" Igor asked directly, understanding Stan Sol's meaning.

"He will find out when the time comes! Only he will be able to get all of you out of here." The Great Mentor began to channel his technique. His eyes suddenly turned completely white, emitting a luminous white glow.

As this white light spread, his hair and beard stood on end, as if something was being released from his body!

This was the Great Mentor absorbing Spirit Power. The Alchemy Equation he needed to write required immense Spirit Power, so he had to draw upon the Spirit Power of Moonflow Stream.

This moment of absorbing Spirit Power could not be interrupted, so he was enveloped by a layer of Spirit Defense, which also extended to protect everyone else.

The Great Mentor was overdrawing his life force. This absorption and application of Spirit Power required life as its price.

"Mentor, is it necessary to do this?" Milo was somewhat bewildered.

Brad and the others were also uncertain about what to do and looked to Kuyi Tulan for guidance.

"As I said, the next time we meet, we will face each other in battle. I will not take action this time."

With the Chief's words, the people from the Alchemy Workshop breathed a collective sigh of relief. Their earlier decision had been difficult, but the Chief's current stance moved them.

The Chief evidently still harbored feelings for his former mentor, even though his mentor had severed their ties and was now unleashing such a powerful technique. Kuyi Tulan offered no resistance; this was a sign of resolute, perhaps final, acceptance.

From now on, perhaps they would each go their separate ways, never interacting again.

From now on, perhaps their next meeting would be as enemies.

Regrettably, the Great Mentor's current display suggested there wouldn't be a next time.

They were all Golden Seat Alchemists with a profound understanding of Alchemy. The Great Mentor's current display was clearly an extreme form of Alchemy: exchanging life for power.

Such a technique would generate devastating power. Elder Alchemists had employed similar techniques on battlefields in the past, techniques of incredibly destructive force.

This realization prompted the Alchemists from the Alchemy Workshop to involuntarily form a defensive formation. They decided not to attack, but maintaining a defense was still necessary.

"The Great Mentor is..." Kuren also sensed that something was terribly wrong. "This Alchemy Technique... it feels like he's staking his life."

"Can anyone stop the Great Mentor? This is a technique that overdraws on life force!" Yuga's perception of Natural Force was quite keen; he could feel the Great Mentor frantically absorbing the surrounding Spirit Power.

This change unsettled the monsters of Guru Mountain. They didn't want to lose the Great Mentor.

They hadn't been able to offer much help, having been restricted by the Great Mentor. They were utterly unwilling for the Great Mentor to depart from them in such a way now.

But they couldn't move.

Stan Sol was still wondering what the Great Mentor had entrusted to him. Only at this moment did he suddenly realize: the Great Mentor wanted him to take these people and leave this place.

The Great Mentor was using a devastating technique, one that would annihilate everything, himself included. Therefore, they had to leave this place quickly afterward. Only Stan Sol's Teleportation Spell could achieve this.

Now the Great Mentor's objective was abundantly clear: he intended to perish along with Kuyi Tulan.

However, Kuyi Tulan made no move. He remained silent, as if the Great Mentor's choice posed no threat to him whatsoever. He uttered no word, choosing silence in the face of the developing situation.

The monsters of Guru Mountain were still anxiously trying to find a way to stop the Great Mentor from sacrificing his life. But none of them could move; they could only watch in helpless agitation.

At this moment, they all regretted their lack of vigilance; they had been so easily ensnared by the Great Mentor.

This was utterly humiliating.

But what use were such resentment and regret now? The Great Mentor had rendered them immobile. They could only watch helplessly as he chose this drastic method to end everything.

Igor couldn't understand the Great Mentor's choice, but he felt there had to be a way to resolve this. He had a premonition that the solution was somehow connected to Stan Sol.

This premonition was uncanny, and Igor couldn't explain its origin. Yet, he just felt that Stan Sol could turn everything around...

However, just as Igor was pondering what role Stan Sol might play, a familiar voice, faint and hesitant, spoke up again.

"I can move... but... what should I do?"

The voice was somewhat mischievous, yet also tinged with trepidation.

The mischief was characteristic of its owner, who had always been a troublemaker. The trepidation stemmed from his bewilderment, being the only one who could move when everyone else was paralyzed.

Everyone else is immobilized, but I can move. Is there something wrong with me?

The owner of this voice was undoubtedly the most unique among them. He had only one eye and blue skin.

He was Kadi.
