The invisible monster summoned by Wizard Reed wasn't invincible. Wizard Reed himself knew that aside from being invisible, it had no other advantages.

Compared to the Blood-Sucking Worms and Vampire Bats, this invisible creature was nothing.

However, it was not detectable by Spirit Sensing, which made it interesting.

Of course, all major spells needed time to prepare. Wizard Reed was trying to buy himself time, using the Blood-Sucking Worms and Vampire Bats as a bluff.

He had originally thought the Vampire Bats would have cleared these ants from his surroundings, but to his surprise, these flies and ants were still alive and kicking.

Yet, Wizard Reed's two previous attacks weren't entirely without gain. At least, he discovered that his powerful adversary didn't seem inclined to attack proactively. It wasn't that it was unwilling, but rather that it *couldn't*.

That was good news for Wizard Reed. At least, he no longer had to worry about his major spell being interrupted.

The main source of Wizard Reed's combat power came from summoning. He was very interested in otherworldly species. Therefore, when studying the Dark Arts, he specialized in Dark Summoning Spells. His dedication to this art had required him to forsake many things; the power he obtained demanded an equivalent exchange. This was why he appeared neither fully human nor ghost, a consequence of these powers.

As long as I can defeat the enemy, everything else is not a problem...

Floating in the air, Wizard Reed watched as the deathly shadows he had summoned gathered. Soon, these opponents will be so scared they'll wet their pants, he thought. They're completely clueless about what to do now.

What thrilled Wizard Reed the most was that the unidentified entity, despite its power, wouldn't attack proactively. This gave him a significant breather. 𝐟𝕣𝕖𝐞𝐰𝕖𝚋𝐧𝗼𝚟𝐞𝕝.𝗰𝐨𝐦

Floating in mid-air, Wizard Reed looked at those few 'flies'. His greatest wish now was to exterminate them instantly. Otherwise, I won't be satisfied, he fumed internally.

Igor had been punched multiple times and ached all over, but they couldn't perceive this invisible opponent at all.

BOOM! Another punch. Regardless, Igor and his team could endure these blows for now.

Stan Sol was also anxious. He didn't know how to catch this invisible thing and give it a sound thrashing...

It was incredibly frustrating to only experience being hit by someone else. Is this opponent trying to disgust us? they wondered.

After all, this level of pain wasn't enough to bring them down.

"Kadi, can you get the spirits to locate this invisible guy?" Igor urged, desperate for the spirits to help.

"There's no way!" Kadi replied, equally desperate.

This made Igor once again yearn endlessly for the lively Hustace.

BOOM! Another punch slammed into Igor. Having been beaten for so long, he and the others had gradually grown accustomed to the attack rhythm and force. Seeing that the enemy showed no signs of intensifying its assault, they quickly tried to communicate, hoping to use this lull to find a way to escape this invisible foe.

However, Wizard Reed clearly wouldn't let them succeed. He re-summoned the Vampire Bats, which continuously swirled around Igor and his companions.

Although the Little Black Hands could help them repel these flying beasts, they couldn't provide constant protection; some always slipped through the net.

The Little Black Hands seemed more focused on rediscovering themselves and showed little concern for proactively attacking or defending Igor and his team. It was as if they were underestimating their opponent...

However, Wizard Reed had long since learned to disregard such things; after all, he knew the Spirit Power fluctuations were no joke.

Wizard Reed wouldn't let a little disdain from his opponents throw him off his game. The most important thing in a battle was to maintain one's own rhythm.

The rhythm couldn't be broken, nor could he afford to easily fall into an opponent's trap. This was fundamental, something Wizard Reed couldn't possibly fail to understand.

For now, Igor and his team could only defend passively. They had no other choice; their opponent was powerful, and they couldn't see through its tactics.

Speaking of seeing through things, Igor once again found himself unconsciously missing the normal Hustace.

Compared to Igor and Kadi, Stan Sol was much calmer and more composed. Although he too had been struck by numerous booming fists, he was constantly searching for an opening.

Although Spirit Power revealed nothing, one mustn't forget he was an ancient Hunter. He possessed a skill that, while not particularly practical in combat, was incredibly accurate: Visual Measurement. This skill allowed him to precisely judge an enemy's capabilities...

While taking the hits, Stan Sol used this 'impractical' skill to discern the opponent's pattern.

This invisible opponent indeed had no Spirit Power to speak of. The reason it could pummel them was precisely this characteristic: invisible to the eye, imperceptible to Spirit Power—utterly concealed.

Stan Sol also discovered that this creature's Physique Technique wasn't particularly strong; its physical power was just slightly greater.

Invisibility and imperceptibility were its greatest advantages.

Capitalizing on these advantages, the creature would pick one of them to hammer every so often. Its strength was ample, and its punches were delivered without hesitation, yet they seemed to follow no discernible pattern...

If he could have found a pattern, Stan Sol would have thrashed it soundly long ago.

Stan Sol's method was quite simple: if he could determine the creature's attack frequency and rhythm, he would predict its attack trajectory. Then, he'd use the Binding Beast Rope to firmly link it to himself. At that point, a mere tug on the Binding Beast Rope would be enough to drag the creature out...

However, to achieve such a scenario, the timing had to be perfect, and he needed the cooperation of the other two who were constantly being beaten...

As it stood, at most one of these conditions could be met.

But that didn't deter him. Since Stan Sol had identified this weakness, he would naturally seek to exploit it and wait for the opportune moment to strike.

Kadi was currently in the most frustrating situation. Not only was he being pummeled, but stray Vampire Bats also constantly harassed him. Although their numbers weren't enough to truly threaten him, their incessant flitting about was incredibly vexing.

If only I knew a Soundwave Attack, I'd make these bats pay... he thought.

However, Kadi didn't know any Soundwave Attacks.

This truly was a tragedy.

Stan Sol couldn't find the Invisible Monster, and Kadi didn't know any Soundwave Attacks... They were now in a thoroughly passive situation.

"Igor," Kadi said, once again pinning all his hopes on him, "quickly, think of something!"

Igor was stunned. He hadn't expected Kadi to place all his hope on him at such a moment. I don't even know what I'm supposed to do... he thought.
