One-Eyed Monster-Chapter 480 - 477: Troublemaker, Spoiler (Part 2)
"ACHOO!" Kadi opened his mouth wide, enjoying the relief of a big sneeze.
He'd sneezed quite a few times recently, briefly wondering if he'd caught a chill. However, noticing no other strange feelings in his body, he shrugged and returned to considering his plan.
His previous hesitations were laughable. He'd pondered for so long yet arrived at no conclusions. Now, like a fool, he could only stand there, unable to do anything. Previously, he was determined to support Igor. But now, Igor was in deep sleep. He felt he must do something. Otherwise, what would happen to everyone stuck here if Igor didn't wake up soon…
Since he began worrying about this, Kadi became like a different person. He would either silently rack his brain over an issue or, as he was now, become restless and anxious. Somehow, he desired to break free from this circle. Despite it being the one Igor had left him in, he still wanted to escape. Unfortunately, that Kuren fellow was always holding him back. Unwittingly, he always felt his actions were restricted.
As Kadi was contemplating how to escape the circle, a warm energy quietly permeated him. Feeling this warm energy flow into his body, a sense of familiarity grew within him. He'd encountered this feeling before, dredging up memories of the time back in Ghost Wind Valley when an old man abruptly appeared from Igor's Spirit Book.
But those details weren't essential. It was clear to him now: this warm energy was Igor's Spirit Power. Igor was transmitting his Spirit Power into him. What was that method called? It reminded him of the Ant Connection Spell... It had always been him, Kadi, relaying Spirit Power to Igor. Why was it reversed now? This felt a bit unusual. What was Igor trying to achieve?
Kadi scratched his head, temporarily setting aside his plan to break free from the circle. He decided to wait patiently to see what Igor truly intended. The warm energy brought Kadi a profound sense of connection, and soon, he found himself enveloped in darkness.
Igor's Spirit Communication was usually whimsical, but Kadi was unable to access his Inner World. As a result, their communication was confined to the darkness. Through the warm energy stream, Kadi could feel Igor's Spirit Power. He didn't care about the surrounding darkness and directly addressed Igor through it, "What the hell are you up to? You show up but don't let us move. What are you trying to do?"
Igor hadn't expected Kadi to suddenly ask a question. Initially, Igor had planned a gentler approach for their communication, but now, such an approach didn't seem necessary.
"That circle can be moved, you know!" Igor said, astonished that Kadi hadn't noticed. However, he didn't have time to explain; persuading Kadi was a complicated task. At this moment, he could only focus on the pertinent matters, as he was seeking Kadi's help.
Kadi, unaware of Igor's intentions, could do nothing else in the darkness but grasp onto Igor's Spirit Power to communicate. Besides, Kadi lacked such a powerful imagination.
Igor immediately felt foolish. His whimsical ideas hadn't materialized. Explaining things in this darkness was difficult, especially since Kadi was still fixated on another matter.
"So why did you go back to sleep? Are you stuck in a Time Trap again?" Typical Kadi; he never concerned himself with too many details or connections. If a question didn't yield an answer, he wouldn't dwell on it and would simply move on to the next one.
"Uh…" Igor was caught off guard by Kadi's sudden question. He was completely baffled by Kadi's line of thought. However, since Kadi had posed the question, Igor had to respond. After thinking for a moment, he decided to give the answer he deemed most suitable. "It's not a Time Trap but another type of trap. I want to destroy it but can't find the right way to do it."
Igor's words held anticipation and a plea for help. This was intended to draw Kadi's attention to the new topic. Once his focus shifted, everything else would naturally fall into place.
"Do you need my help?" It seemed Igor's plan had half-succeeded. 𝚏𝕣𝐞𝗲𝐰𝕖𝐛𝐧𝕠𝕧𝚎𝚕.𝐜𝚘𝗺
"Yes, I need your help. I don't know how to destroy it."
"Hmm… you truly aren't suited for destructive tasks. I noticed that long ago," Kadi said, a hint of pride in his voice, even though he was clueless about what he actually had to do.
"We are facing an ocean, and we want to cause some disruption," Igor said, entrusting everything to Kadi.
"An ocean?" Kadi was somewhat puzzled.
"Yes, an ocean. We need to disturb it, to prevent it from surging normally…" Igor said, hoping Kadi would understand. He felt anxious, fearing Kadi might get stuck in a loop, asking one question after another.
"You mean cause mischief, right?" Luckily, Kadi managed to get straight to the point without going off on a tangent.
"Yes!" Igor was excited. Everything was proceeding as he had hoped.
"That's easy. Give me a moment to think about how to mess with the ocean," Kadi said. Despite his confident words, he had his doubts. He'd never even seen an ocean; how could he possibly disrupt it?
Igor realized this could be a serious problem. Kadi had grown up in the mountains; how could he have ever seen an ocean? This task might indeed be too challenging for him. However, noticing Kadi's confident appearance, Igor decided to continue trusting him...
"Can you tell me what you did before?" Kadi suddenly asked.
"Err..." Though reluctant, Igor began to explain everything in detail. The narrative was long, but Igor was incredibly patient.
During this process, Igor suddenly realized Kadi was indeed a natural troublemaker. Things hadn't turned out as he'd initially anticipated. Igor had originally planned to approach Kadi calmly, explain the situation patiently, and then take Kadi's ideas back with him to act on. But now, everything was different. Not only did Kadi proactively ask questions, but he had also shed his passive role, transforming from a simple troublemaker into a genuine disruptor. Indeed, Kadi was no longer satisfied with just listening. He wanted to *see*! But Kadi couldn't enter the Inner World! Igor was at a loss. How could he show Kadi?
"You can use the Ant Connection Spell and let me see it through your eyes!" Kadi suggested. Since Igor's description wasn't satisfying him, Kadi had to come up with his own solution.
