Omnipotent Husband System-Chapter 563: Confrontation.

Two months passed in a blink and the Unit trained by Hao Ren was ready to depart at the gates of the Crescent Moon City. He stood in front of Han Lingshi, and she said, "Well, come back soon."

Hao Ren nodded, Jana could not understand why these two guys have been acting like this, even though he have been telling them that it was not easy to open the gateway back home. However, he didn't bother with these things now, because they were heading into the space that was dreaded with war and literal carnage. So they had to handle the situation there first before they could think of coming back home.

Hao Ren pecked Han Lingshi's lips gently as he caressed her cheek and said, "I will be back soon, don't worry."

That said, he picked up Yanling in his arms, these past couple of months, the younger child has become rather attached to him and she didn't even sleep unless he rocked her and sang her lullabies. He teased the little one who giggled around and then he pecked her forehead and said, "Be good while Baba is at work."

Yanling cooed and then he took Xuanshen in his arms, and the kid gazed at him with a serious face. Hao Ren sighed and said, "You are a kid, why do you have such a serious face all the time? Laugh more, and live more."

That being said, he gently kissed the elder child on his forehead and said, "Don't trouble your mother when I am away, be a good son, okay?"

Xuanshen cooed gently before Hao Ren waved to his wife and they all vanished. Yin was a part of his unit along with his disciples, Hiro and Jiro. They took Hiro along so that this guy could handle the minimal artifact and the weapon repair work while learning the craft of an artifact refiner.

After saying their farewells, the people vanished from the place and appeared in the southern edge of the world and Hao Ren spotted that the people from the Spirit Siphon Continent have also come over.

Hao Ren turned to look at Jana, who moved both his hands and then opened the spatial portal. The door opened and then Jana led everyone inside with just one warning, "Be at ready, we might be coming out in the battlefield."

Ye Generals all smiled and looked at each other while Hao Ren stood with his hands behind his back. The seven elders from the Spirit Siphon Continent were a little anxious, after all, these old men have been gathering rust for quite a bit of time. Jana led them inside the portal and then Hao Ren and his team followed them.

Yin had also reached the heavenly realm, Yang was just an inch away as well, however, Jiro and Hiro were taken over to aid as the attendants to Hao Ren. They didn't have the power they needed to defend themselves against a stronger enemy. Jana had no idea why Hao Ren was so adamant on getting these teenagers to follow him but he agreed to it.

Hao Ren held onto everyone using a tether composed from his spiritual energy. This way none of the people would get lost. The experts from the Spirit Siphon Continent also used the same technique, and soon they all jumped inside the portal.

The journey was just a few moments long and when they all opened their eyes, they found themselves standing in a barren landscape. Hao Ren looked around and said, "The divine sense has been reduced by half. I can only see as far as a mile."

Ye Jian and the rest nodded in agreement before Ye Si said, "Big Brother, the gravity has increased by half a time as well."

Another fact was corrected as Hao Ren said, "There are now three faction in this world. Apart from humans, kill anything that comes towards us with malice."

The unit was made up of five ye generals and twelve disciples. Ye Jian didn't have any disciple, so he was alone here, but, Ye Peng, Ye Kang, Ye Si, and Ye Lin, all had three disciples each who came over on this expedition. They were all the new generation of the Ye Generals, and have mastered the weapons similar to their masters.

At this moment, Yin said, "Baba, I can sense some movement under the ground."

The people around them were shocked, Jana looked at Yin with great astonishment. He knew that Hao Yin, was not a normal human girl but even as a Dao Beast with a human body she was too good. Hao Ren turned to look at Jana, who said, "This source under the ground is called the Hidden Life River. We extract the water from this river to satiate ourselves. This river is also the pathway that helps us to locate the various bases spread around the Eternal Battlefield."

Hao Ren asked, "Do we still have other human force bases?"

Jana nodded but with a bitter smile, he said, "Yes, we do have about three dozen bases but the situation is not very good there as well."

Hao Ren nodded and said, "Let us head to the base you came from first and then we can worry about the others."

Jana agreed and quickly led the way, they walked for a couple of hours, flying was not suggested to travel in a realm where you have no idea what might come after you. During their walk, Jiro asked, "Master, the air here does not have much spiritual energy."

Hao Ren smiled faintly and said, "Yes, but don't worry, we have enough supplies to last for ten years. Also, the battles in the future would allow us to earn decent supplies."

Jiro nodded and suddenly Ye Jian said, "Young Master, ahead."

The people all focued their gaze at a place, from the distance it looked like a black blotch on the face of the earth. Jana froze and said, "Those are the demon race, did they manage to breach the protection array? No, that can't be!"

Hao Ren said, "Jian, Peng, Xiao Si, go ahead and test the mettle of these so called demons."

The three people vanished after gentle chuckled and left behind an line, "The one with the least skill is a rotten egg." 𝒇𝙧𝙚𝓮𝔀𝓮𝒃𝙣𝓸𝒗𝒆𝒍.𝙘𝒐𝒎

Ye Kang and Ye Lin sighed and the latter said, "Big Brother, why not let me be the one to go ahead but Xiao Si, you have always been biased in your treatments."

Hao Ren chuckled and said, "Lin, you are the master of bow and arrow, I wanted you to kill those things from here without working up any sweat."

Ye Lin rolled her eyes and took out her Heavy Bow before she began to fire the arrows one after the other. Jana was surprised and so were the other people, they could see how indifferently the four people attacked the demons, what they saw as a massacre. It was as if the four Ye Generals were playing among a bunch of kids and beating them all once after the other.

None of the people could release this level of carnage to the demons that they dreaded just from this distance. Ye Jian and Ye Peng were still elegant but Ye Si, she literally reduced the enemies that she faced into sprays of blood and flesh with her fists. It took them five minutes to gain attention from the higher level demons that were leading the troops.

Hao Ren and the rest also moved in closer, where the young man found, how the demon looked. They had a skin as black as ink, and their eyes were completely red. They had claws for hands and their legs looked like the limbs of a goat. Their feet were also similar to hooves. The only piece of clothing that they had on their bodies was a lionclothe.

Just then Hao Ren looked at the entity fighting Ye Si, and found the person to have a couple of bracers on his wrists. The fighting style was completely chaotic, and that was why Ye Si was having a slightly harder time in countering the person.

Hao Ren wanted to make a move when Ye Lin aimed an arrow at the head of the so called Captain of the demons and shot it at a high speed. The arrow left behind a sonic boom before it lodged inside the head of the Captain of the Demon Contingent.

The attack didn't kill the Captain, but Ye Si took the opportunity and her fist connected with the tail of the arrow and shoved the weapon even deeper inside the brain matter, and then her spiritual energy in union to the arrow turned the captain's brain to mush and effectively killed him.

The corpse fell to the ground and Ye Si quickly grabbed the bracers and placed them all inside the space rings as she continued to kill everyone of the demons she could.
