Chapter 32: Three Days Of Training IV

Other than Reinh and Cedrik, the rest of the people there, even Aron, were lying on the ground and breathing hard. Their bodies had some bruises, and their clothes were dirty with dust.

In the middle of all of them, Reinh stood without even a single drop of sweat. His eyes were still as indifferent as always.

"That’s enough for today. You can go," he said after looking at the sky and seeing that it had become dark. Then he threw the wooden sword in his hand onto the ground. After saying goodbye to Cedrik, he was the first one to leave.

After he left, it was like all those youths had been released. They started to cry. Not tears of sadness, but tears of joy.

They had never experienced such a hell-like training in their lives before, and this was only the first day. This only made them want to run away more, but they did not dare.

"I understand you, but his training methods are not bad," Cedrik said with a laugh when he saw the state of the kids.

He had stayed there the whole day and watched all of their training. He wanted to make sure no problem or mistake happened, and luckily that was the case.

"Sir Cedrik, you don’t understand! He is a monster! I really thought I was going to die!"

"How is he so strong? How did he fight all of us and not even sweat a little, while we felt like we were going to die?"

"Which bastard spread the rumor that he is weak? He is clearly a monster in human skin!"

Their bodies were not bloody, and other than some bruises they were completely fine. So it did not seem like they had really reached the edge of death. However, they had truly felt death.

This was not because of physical damage, but because of the pressure Reinh put on them. During the training fights with them, he attacked many sensitive but less known points again and again. He used knowledge of psychology and made these kids think they were really going to die.

"Stop complaining. Get up and go rest. You have to come back tomorrow morning," Cedrik said after laughing loudly and then left.

Behind him, he could hear their endless groans as they stood up. It only made him laugh more.

"Anyway, that kid is different from what the rumors say. Eleven percent blood purity? My ass," he muttered and decided to do a more detailed investigation about this himself.

Reinh also returned to his residence. Lina was there waiting for him, but August was not there. Now that they had returned to the Garden of Crowns, that old man had other duties to take care of.

"How was your first day of training, young master?" Lina asked with excitement while bringing a plate of food for him.

"Tiring," he said while eating a spoon of rice and answered in an indifferent tone.

"Did you make new friends? I’m sure you made a few friends, right?"

Reinh paused for a moment. It depended on how you defined "friend." They were more like human punching bags than friends.

"But I guess yes."

"Oh? Really? You really made friends? Please tell me about them!" Lina became even more excited. She was exactly like a mother asking about her son’s first day at school.

Reinh gave her a short summary of today to get free, but after hearing it, Lina sighed and felt bad for those kids.

"Young master, you should be kinder to those kids."

"I will remember," he said. After finishing his food, he said good night and returned to his room. He lay on his bed and slowly closed his eyes.

It was not like he was cruel to those kids on purpose. In fact, even until now he had shown them a lot of mercy and kindness.

However, for them to win, they needed to adapt to the conditions. The Garden of Crowns was not a place where the weak could even breathe.

"Five," he muttered under his breath. This was the number of talented kids he had found among his whole group, the ones who had the right to become his subordinates.

He just had to think of ways to gain their loyalty. Luckily, all of them were still twelve years old, and he had a lot of time for this.

His awareness slowly faded, and he fell asleep.

Time passed slowly, and the sun replaced the moon in the sky. Its light began to shine on his face, and he slowly opened his eyes.

After waking up, he repeated yesterday’s routine: bath, breakfast, exercise, and then he went toward the training ground.

"Do you really want that impure bastard to be your leader?! Are you trash so cowardly?!"

However, from a distance he could hear an unpleasant voice. With a closer look, he saw Julian, who seemed to be giving a speech to the others.

"That bastard has no chance against me! Yesterday I only lost because he attacked suddenly! Just like a coward!" he explained in a harsh and arrogant tone.

However, looking at the faces of the people there, it was clear none of them believed his words. If these words had been said before they themselves fought that monster, maybe they would have believed it.

But now? There was no way.

"Instead of talking nonsense, why don’t you go fight that monster directly? If you win, fine, you can be our leader," said a girl with long purple hair and blue eyes, who had become tired of hearing his nonsense.

"Hmph? You think I’m scared? Whenever he comes, I’ll crush him right here! Where is he anyway?"

"Why don’t I see him anywhere? Don’t tell me he got scared?" Julian said with mockery. However, he suddenly noticed the frightened looks of the people in front of him.

For strange reasons, he suddenly felt a bad feeling in his heart. His instincts began to warn him, and his body felt paralyzed. He could not move even an inch.

Slowly and with difficulty, he moved his head a little and saw a young boy behind him, looking at him with a cold face and eyes that seemed inhuman.

"Do you have something to say to me?" Reinh said coldly.
