NTR Massage Parlour: A Wellness Technique Guide-Chapter 266: The Weight of Knowing
Yohan pushed the door open just as Minji Kim was about to leave her office.
She froze.
"Y-Yohan..." Her eyes widened, panic flashing across her face before she quickly tried to compose herself.
Not just that, her Meridian flow was unstable, like she was worried about something.
"Minji... are you okay?" he asked, narrowing his eyes slightly. "You look like you’ve seen a ghost."
"It’s nothing," she said quickly, forcing a chuckle. "Just the usual trouble at home..."
A brief, awkward silence followed.
"I should head to class."
"Okay, let’s go." he tried to help her with her bag as usual, but she stopped him.
"N-No—not today." She stepped past him a little too quickly. "You should take a break."
"A break?" His brows furrowed.
"Yes. You’ve been working so hard lately." Her voice was steady, but her energy wasn’t. "I’d hate for you to fall sick because of me... just take the week off."
Before he could respond, she brushed past him and walked away, almost hurried.
Yohan remained by the door, watching her retreating figure.
That wasn’t normal.
He hadn’t even been assisting her these past few days. And just yesterday morning, she’d been genuinely happy to see him.
Now... she could barely look at him.
Meridian Tell was essentially an energy perception ability, tied to the flow of meridians in living beings. It lets him see people beyond normal sight, giving him insight into their mental state and intent.
It didn’t just help him tell when people were being dishonest, it allowed him to know when they were deeply disturbed by something or maybe if they were going through an internal conflict.
But that was all it did, there was no way to further tell what was truly going on in her mind.
’Maybe it’s really just trouble at home... I should stop by her place to cheer her up’
He figured that maybe she didn’t want to talk about things like that here in school, but that didn’t explain why she sent him back home.
’I’ll just have to ask her later’ he thought as he left.
She could almost feel his eyes on her.
Only when she turned the corner did she finally exhale, her expression tightening with unease. Her hand moved to her chest as she tried to steady her heartbeat, but it refused to calm. A thin sheen of sweat began to form on her skin.
’What do I do...?’ she wondered
For now Minji Kim was just hoping that Yohan didn’t notice anything, if not who knew what he would do to her after what she witnessed yesterday.
She saw him come out of the bathroom, he took a quick look around and ran off without waiting so she couldn’t get to him, but something about the way he acted made her go into the bathroom.
That was where she found the body of a girl and two other men, lying on the floor. She was only able to check and confirm that the girl was dead, right before the two men started waking up.
She panicked and rushed out of the place and back to her office, then she called the cops immediately, but by the time they arrived the girl along with the two other guys were gone. There was still some blood on the ground but there was hardly any sign that anyone had been there.
Minji was confused, it was only a few minutes but they were gone.
The policemen even checked the whole building but didn’t find anything, the blood on the ground wasn’t enough to cause an alarm. They ended up questioning Minji until even she was unsure of herself.
But she couldn’t forget what she had seen, only that now she has no way to prove it to anyone else.
Right now, her first instinct was to just stay away from him. 𝗳𝚛𝚎𝚎𝘄𝕖𝕓𝕟𝕠𝚟𝚎𝕝.𝗰𝕠𝐦

Yohan later headed to the gym to wait for Jenna, but when he got there she was already training, kicking and punching at the punching bag.
"Since when did we get a punching bag?" Yohan wondered,
"I found it in the storage room, got tired of waiting and decided to take a look around,"
"Waiting? Since when?"
"Since, Izumi left for their family villa this morning. She said she needed some time off school, so I had nothing else to do"
"Wow, I never knew you could go a few days without seeing her. I was starting to think you would die if you didn’t see her for even a day,"
Jenna frowned at him, "It’s my job remember, besides this is pretty common for Izumi. She leaves at random moments, it’s the only time I get to have a little life for myself,"
"A life for yourself," Yohan repeated, "That’s the first time I’ve heard you say that,"
Jenna also realized that this was one of the first times she had used those words. Before now she couldn’t imagine a life for herself, she would follow Izumi everywhere even on days like this.
But now she was actually looking forward to spending her time doing something else, and it was all because of Yohan.
He had completely changed her perspective of life, showing her that there was more to just living for ’Duty’. There was an actual meaning to living for yourself.
"Thank you," The words left her mouth before she knew it.
"For what?" He genuinely wondered.
"For saving me from myself," she said with a bright smile, one he had never seen on Jenna’s face. It was radiating and enchanting enough to leave him a state of awe.
Because of how composed she always was, he hardly ever saw this side of her.
"Forget I said anything," her face turned pink with embarrassment, "I must sound weird right now," she turned away, too ashamed to face him.
But Yohan wrapped his arms around her from behind, gentle and comforting.
"I understand, sometimes all we need is that one person that understands us" he whispered softly into her ears.
His words softened her heart, making her even more convinced that Yohan was the one person that understood her. He was the only one that truly cared about her.
Then she remembered the reason she wanted to meet in the first place,
"Before I forget what exactly is going on between you and Izumi,"
That final statement sent a chill down his spine, freezing his expression in place.
