Novel's Extra: The Lost Heir of Dragon Queen-Chapter 63: S-Rank Mission (1)
(POV: Tharion)
"Why bring thirty of us? You could kill that child on your own," one of the figures muttered, breaking the tense silence as they moved through the forest.
Tharion, the towering leader of the group, didn’t even turn to address the comment.
Instead, his cold, crimson eyes gleamed under the moonlight.
"We’re not just here to kill a single boy," Tharion said.
The same figure chuckled darkly.
"Whole academy, huh? Now that’s a feast."
Tharion finally stopped, his towering form casting an intimidating shadow over the others.
"At first, I thought it was enough to crush a boy named Kael," he admitted, his tone laced with disdain.
"But the higher-ups decided differently. They want everything turned to ash—every student, every teacher, every blade of grass. Complete annihilation."
"His will?" someone whispered.
Tharion’s smirk widened.
"Yes. He saw the bigger picture. If we kill a student then he will no longer remains as a threat —but his death will work as a spark. A spark that could ignite a fire strong enough to burn everything we’ve built. To simply kill him would be to leave the academy standing, and the academy is the fuel for that fire."
Another follower spoke up,
"But destroying the academy. It’s about sending a message to the entire world."
"Exactly," Tharion said, his tone cold and final.
"We’re not just eliminating one student or one institution. We’re erasing a symbol of defiance, of rebellion. The academy has been a thorn in the side of our order for too long. Their arrogance, their belief that they can stand against us—it ends now."

The group murmured in approval, the bloodlust among them palpable.
"Consider yourselves fortunate," Tharion continued, a wicked grin spreading across his face.
"You get to witness the fall of an academy that’s dared to produce talent that threatens us." Tharion added.
"And what makes this Kael so special?" another one asked, a trace of curiosity in their otherwise malicious tone.
Tharion’s grin twisted into a snarl. "You’ll see soon enough."
The group fell silent.
Their path was clear, and their purpose was deadly.
He turned, his black cloak sweeping behind him as he began to leave the chamber.
"Prepare yourselves. At dawn, we set out for Carol Island. And remember—failure is not an option. If any of you falter, you will beg for death before I’m done with you."
The group stood frozen as Tharion disappeared into the shadows, the weight of his words pressing down on them like.

"Leader we found a cave near the river but there is a problem orcs are in between," Jex said.
Lira and Claire nodded.
Kael has sent three of them to check for place where they can rest at night.
"Good work," Kael said as he make his way to co-leaders.
The early morning sun filtered through the thick canopy of Carol Island’s jungle.
The mission was clear: survive for ten days and retrieve three ancient artifacts.
"Listen up, Everyone one," Kael Shouted
"We’re going to hit the orc village," he declared, his voice firm.
"I know some of you are uneasy, but I promise you, with the right plan, we’ll win with minimal casualties. Now, here’s the strategy."
"The Four-Layered Decimation Plan" Kael said.
"What that’s?," One of them asked.
"Let me explain!" Kael said.
As kael give brief —
"My strategy is divided into four precise layers, each targeting specific weaknesses of the orc,"
"Phase One will be: Misdirection and Distraction,"
Jex, with his stealth abilities, will infiltrate the outskirts of the orc village and plant small incendiary devices on the storage huts and key points to create confusion.
These aren’t meant to blow up immediately but will serve as backup chaos.
Lira and her agile team will act as decoys on the eastern side, attacking from the tree line using hit-and-run tactics with arrows and small magic spells.
This will draw the orcs’ attention while the main assault team positions itself unnoticed.
"Then Phase Two: Divide and Conquer will begin,"
Lumia and Joseph will lead a second unit to create a fake retreat from the west, luring a portion of the orcs out of the village.
Their goal is to pull away the stronger orc warriors from the main camp, leaving the core defenses weaker.
Shirone, with his unparalleled combat prowess, will hold the central point during this phase, baiting out the orc chieftain if possible.
His job will be to hold them off without engaging fully until the next phase.
"After that Phase Three: Surgical Strike,"
My team, will infiltrate through the northern side of the village, where Jex will have identified weak points in their defenses.
The team will aim directly for the orc shaman, who is likely enhancing their warriors with magic. Removing the shaman will significantly weaken their resistance.
Claire will use a specialized barrier spell to block any reinforcements from reaching the shaman’s position once the fight begins.
"And now last Phase Four: Total Collapse,"
Once the shaman is neutralized and the orcs are in disarray, Lumia will release her bloodlust aura to terrify and disorient the remaining enemies.
Joseph’s team will regroup with mine’s, and they will press the orcs back into their village.
Jex’s planted incendiaries will be detonated as a final blow, forcing any survivors to flee the village.," kael finished his long speech.
Everyone was stunned and only one word came in their mind
"Genius,"
Kael’s one’s again start as he says, "The orcs are strong, yes, but they’re predictable. We’re not going in as one reckless group—we’re hitting them from all angles, exploiting their arrogance and their dependency on that shaman. Stick to your roles, trust your team, and we’ll crush them. This is not just about survival; this is about proving that we’re capable of more than they think. Are you with me?"
A resounding cheer erupted from the team, the earlier tension replaced with determination.
With the strategy laid out, Kael dismissed the group to make their preparations.
As he walked back toward his co-leaders, Shirone smirked.
"You really do like making things complicated, don’t you?"Shirone said.
Kael smirked back.
"Complicated plans always make the simplest victories." kael said.
Meanwhile, Lumia’s serious expression softened as she placed a hand on Kael’s shoulder.
"We trust you, Kael. Let’s get this done." She said.
"Well that’s was great plan, how you come with that?," Lumia asked leaning towards kael.
"I don’t know, it just came to his mind," kael replied.
Well he was not lying even he doesn’t how the plan pops up in his mind.
