Asher Land picked up Sophie Smith and let her sit on his lap.

"What are you doing..." With eyes watching, their actions seemed a bit too intimate, and Sophie felt a bit uncomfortable.

Luke Land returned to the card table and gave Eva Miller a look.

"Little Chili, do you still want to win money or not?"

"Of course I want to!" Eva had to admit she was really money-hungry right now. After all, each of the Land brothers was so rich. With the stakes they gambled at, she thought, if she could pocket their money, it would be a dream come true.

"If you want to win money, cooperate." Luke’s lips curved with a mischievous grin. "Come, sit over here."

Half-believing and half-doubting, Eva thought about the money and couldn’t help but walk over.

Luke pointed to his lap and then looked at Eva.

"You... you want me to sit on your lap?"

"Otherwise? Didn’t you see how my third brother and Sophie were cooperating to win money?"

"That..." Eva was in a dilemma, "Are you sure President Land and Sophie are winning like that?"

Eva glanced uncertainly at Asher, who simply nodded noncommittally.

Eva thought, if sitting on Luke’s lap actually brings winnings, she wouldn’t mind sitting there all day. It’s not like she was sharing a bed with him; Eva was known for her flexibility.

Without a word, she sat right on Luke’s lap.

Her reaction was so quick that no one had time to react.

"Open the cards, Luke! I’m telling you, if you don’t win money for me later, I will..." Eva struggled for a while but had nothing else to say, so she just fell silent, pouting.

Luke, Asher, and Oscar exchanged a determined look, all in silent agreement.

Asher deliberately played a wrong card, ignoring the one Oscar could take.

"Asher, you can’t play like this..." Asher’s moves were so obviously wrong that even Sophie couldn’t stand it anymore. She was about to grab the card back, but Asher stopped her.

"When playing cards, maintain card ethics; no take-backs." Asher said earnestly.

Sophie wanted to say more, but Asher suddenly silenced her with a kiss.

"See no evil, see no evil..." Eva murmured, turning her head away. Asher and Sophie were showing their affection anytime, anywhere. It was enough!

Luke quietly leaned in to try and kiss Eva, hoping to take advantage of the moment, but Eva turned her head, making him miss.

"Luke, you’re messing with me, aren’t you?"

Eva huffed a few times, angrily trying to get off his lap.

Asher’s lips curved into a subtle smile, his eyes saying he couldn’t help Luke this time.

Later, after the card game ended, everyone started drinking recklessly. Sophie’s mood was indeed good tonight, so she let loose, drinking cup after cup.

"Drink less." Watching the tipsy woman, cheeks flushed and gaze starting to blur, Asher couldn’t help but frown.

Sophie and Eva were both letting loose. When Eva saw Sophie’s glass was empty, she immediately refilled it. Clearly, the Land brothers were about to be run ragged by these two little women...
