No Substitutes for the Bigshots' Dream Girl Anymore!-Chapter 1754: Arnold Simmons Extra (120)
Arnold Simmons currently doesn’t have the power to confront the Simmons Family.
Tessa Thompson only felt sad for a moment and quickly cheered up. "It’s fine! I’ll plan a trip to the Capital City next vacation. You can be my tour guide then."
Hannah nodded and smiled. "Sure, if you come, I’ll definitely accompany you."
On the third day, Hannah flew back to the Capital City. Arnold Simmons came to pick her up, and Benny Cooper was with him.
Benny Cooper was the class president of their second class in high school. He and Hannah were both directly admitted to A University, though everyone usually called him "Bookworm" or "Study Machine."
But no one could deny that Benny Cooper was practically a genius when it came to academics.
The last time they ran into him at school, Benny was being bullied. His glasses had been snatched, and a few people were teasing him like he was a monkey.
Arnold stepped in and thoroughly taught those people a lesson.
Since then, the two became friends. Recently, they had been discussing some entrepreneurial plans together.
Hannah hadn’t been asking much about it since her major was very demanding. When coursework piled up, it reminded her of the busy days of senior year in high school.
By the time she finally got some free time, the short holiday had arrived.
University breaks followed the calendar like clockwork.
In her dorm, aside from Hannah and Amy Taylor, the other two roommates were locals from the Capital City. Naturally, they went home to rest during the short break.
Amy originally suggested she and Hannah go out for a full day before handing her off to Arnold Simmons.
But unexpectedly, right before the short holiday, Amy started dating a junior from campus. The two were utterly inseparable, acting as if they couldn’t bear to be apart for even a single day.
The night before the holiday started, Amy snuck out early.
The next morning, the other two girls also left. Before leaving, they waved at Hannah. "Hannah, we’ll get you some tasty treats when we’re back!"
Hannah was trying on clothes on her bed and poked her head out to reply, "Alright, safe travels!"
Right before ten, Arnold sent Hannah a message saying he was waiting downstairs at her dorm building.
Hannah looked through a few outfits and ultimately chose a cute little dress. She slung a small shoulder bag across her body and happily rushed downstairs.
Arnold was standing beneath the big tree in front of the dorm building. He wore a white T-shirt and sleek black pants, his figure tall and upright, with his back straight. He was looking down at his phone, his expression relaxed yet tired, exuding an air of detached coolness.
A few girls nearby were whispering to each other about him, their cheeks flushed. Some had taken out their phones, presumably to snap a few candid photos.
But before their cameras could focus, their frames were suddenly filled with a lively, radiant young woman.
Hannah tugged on her shoulder bag strap, her eyes sparkling with light, her smile sweet. "Arnold Simmons, did I scare you?"
She looked like a bunny, with ears and a tail twitching adorably.
Arnold’s distant, cold demeanor instantly softened. He gently mussed the hair of the bubbly girl in front of him and played along. "You did. Have you eaten yet?"
Hannah shook her head. "Not yet. I had two biscuits in the dorm earlier."
On vacation days, most people in the dorm usually didn’t wake up until ten.
Those two biscuits were actually given to her by Amy.
Arnold took her hand. "Let’s go. I’ll take you to get some breakfast first."
There were lots of students from A University out and about today, especially in the morning. The snack street across from the campus was packed with people from their university.
A few days ago, when Hannah mentioned she wanted to go on an outing, Arnold had already prepared a detailed itinerary. He even bought tickets for all the attractions in advance.
