No Substitutes for the Bigshots' Dream Girl Anymore!-Chapter 1558: That’s Not Important
Jinlian ate until her belly was bulging, and lay down on the ground, weak but satisfied, her tail still happily hitting the ground.
"Burp—"
She couldn’t help but burp.
Just then, the servant who came to clean saw her and couldn’t help but smile, "I’ve never seen a dog that eats as much as you do."
Jinlian lazily glanced at her, snorted through her nose, very aloof.
She was not gluttonous, she was just coincidentally hungry, and food at Arnold Simmons’ house was quite good.
Right.
Where was Arnold?
Jinlian, realizing late, looked around and saw no one, then scurried to the kitchen on her short legs to find a servant.
"Woof woof woof—" Where is my owner?
"Woof woof—" Where is Arnold?
Of course, the servant couldn’t understand dog talk and assumed she was hungry again, so she took another bone and put it down.
Jinlian just sniffed it, not interested in the slightest.
She was not a pig.
Knowing communication with the servant was futile, Jinlian decided to look for someone herself.
The Nine Realms really was similar to the former Blue Star, if not for the differently dressed people on the road, Hannah would really think she was on the streets of Blue Star.
Here too were sky, lakes, squares, and bustling crowds.
Just that there were fewer hawkers in the streets.
As after entering the First Year of Stellar, the former food had become a very rare and precious commodity, and most ordinary families relied on nutrient supplements for their meals.
Hannah and Arnold Simmons walked hand in hand on the street.
In the eyes of outsiders, they were just a couple with remarkable appearances; beyond that, no one knew their identities.
Taking advantage of some free time today, Arnold took Hannah to many places in the Nine Realms.
Hannah found everything novel.
Though she had visited many planets, this was her first time in the Nine Realms.
Because a hundred years ago, the Nine Realms was the most chaotically governed region within the entire stellar community; even members of the imperial family wouldn’t come here.
But now, the Nine Realms were well managed by Arnold.
She was indeed not wrong at the beginning; Arnold was born to sit on the throne.
"If you left with me, what would become of the Nine Realms?"
Sitting on a tour train, Hannah turned to look at Arnold by her side.
They sat at the window seat at the back, and the train was sparsely populated, mostly by couples who consciously kept distance and space between each other.
The train headed towards a distant flower field, the wind bringing a faint fragrance of flowers, refreshing and natural.
Arnold held Hannah’s hand, saying, "That’s not important."
He had to be with her.
This was a promise he made before becoming the ruler of the Nine Realms, that after avenging his father, the only thing left in his world would be Hannah.
Hannah asked him, "What is not important, the Nine Realms aren’t important?"
Arnold did not hesitate, giving a direct answer, "Yes."
The Nine Realms were not important, at least not to him.
Hannah stopped talking, turned her head to look at the vast fields of flowers outside the train.
These were the unique Funo flowers of the Nine Realms, their petals a deep blue, gradually turning lighter toward the center of the flower. Spread out in vast patches, they resembled the color of the sea.
"Arnold, you are the ruler of the Nine Realms, they need you."
Hannah lowered her eyes to their intertwined hands, and twiddled her fingers; Arnold held them tighter.
She looked up again, meeting the beautiful eyes she loved the most.
"Hannah," Arnold, unusually solemn, called her name seriously, as if making a vow, "The Nine Realms don’t need me."
