Nine Star Hegemon Body Arts-Chapter 6929 Ten Times the Power
Kui Yin reappeared right in front of Li Chenggang and swung his scale-covered fist at him.
BOOM!
The air seemed to explode as a translucent barrier appeared, only to crack right away.
It was the same punch as before, but this time, Kui Yin’s power had grown so much that Li Chenggang’s barrier broke.
Kui Yin sneered at the sight of the cracking barrier. His fist glowed with divine light as he let out a roar.
“Break!”
The barrier shattered, and Kui Yin’s fist continued towards Li Chenggang’s face.
In response, Li Chenggang slowly lifted his hand, and a mysterious character appeared on both sides of it.
BOOM!
Li Chenggang’s palm looked gentle, but when it met Kui Yin’s fist, the whole martial stage shook. Kui Yin was knocked back, and Li Chenggang also had to step back.
Kui Yin’s feet pressed against the air, twisting the space around him. Like an arrow released from a bow, he shot back at Li Chenggang, his fists sending out waves of divine light.
Kui Yin moved as fast as lightning, throwing dozens of punches in an instant.
Meanwhile, Li Chenggang blocked every punch with one hand, sometimes stopping them directly and sometimes redirecting them. None of Kui Yin’s attacks landed.
BOOM!
At last, Kui Yin’s flurry of attacks ended, and he was sent flying again.
His body darted through the air, giving the illusion of hundreds of Kui Yins soaring around. These weren’t clones—he was simply moving so quickly that the disciples could barely track his movements.
“His speed is ridiculous! I wouldn’t be able to keep up at all!” Du Xinlan, who had “awoken”, exclaimed in shock.
The other disciples turned pale. If they had been in Li Chenggang’s place, they knew they wouldn’t have survived.
“Is he using his movement technique to fool senior apprentice-brother Chenggang?” one disciple asked.
“At this level, those tricky movement arts don’t matter,” Long Chen replied, shaking his head.
“Then what’s this?”
“A warm-up.”
“This terrifying power and speed is a warm-up?!”
Everyone was gobsmacked.
Long Chen explained, “This internal blood ignition needs perfect control and stability. If he loses control, his body could explode. No technique is completely safe. The more explosive the power, the greater the risk. Kui Yin is using this movement technique and normal attacks to warm up his body quickly. That’s why he’s only punching and not using any magical arts or divine abilities.”
“So, shouldn’t senior apprentice-brother Chenggang attack him before he finishes warming up? Wouldn’t that be the best chance to injure him?” Du Xinlan asked.
Long Chen replied, “When two people are evenly matched, both sides need to finish warming up. Any mistake could be fatal. Like I said, this is a rare chance to temper himself, and Brother Chenggang isn’t trying to win right away. He wants to force Kui Yin to use all his trump cards. That way, he can show off his strength and give you all a chance to learn. You all have a lot to learn about fighting.”
Hearing this, Du Xinlan and the others blushed. The two matches before had been complete losses for the Calligraphy Sect. They had been an embarrassment.
Within the entire Calligraphy Sect, the only real fighter was Li Chenggang. But even then, Li Chenggang could only fight one match. If it weren’t for Long Chen, the Calligraphy Sect would have lost miserably. 𝒇𝙧𝙚𝓮𝔀𝓮𝒃𝙣𝓸𝒗𝒆𝒍.𝙘𝒐𝒎
Before Li Chenggang arrived, these so-called heavenly geniuses had been incredibly arrogant. They had thought that they were strong enough to sweep through the other major factions. Only now did they realize just how ignorant they had been.
Kui Yin’s attacks kept getting faster, and his aura grew stronger. Flames rippled in the air, showing he was finally entering his true combat state.
“The warm-up is over! Time for you to die!” Kui Yin shouted thunderously.
The next moment, a streak of divine light descended toward Li Chenggang.
BOOM!
Waves of energy raged as the divine light cut through the air, sending rubble flying.
After the attack, a huge crack split the martial stage. Kui Yin was still frozen in his punching stance.
Li Chenggang stood completely still, as if time had stopped. Neither fighter moved, but the alarming crack in the stage sent chills through the crowd.
Suddenly, both of them retreated to opposite sides of the stage. Kui Yin gave Li Chenggang a sinister look.
Kui Yin declared, “I possess two bloodlines and the Painting Sect’s secret arts. I even created my own divine arts by constructing diagrams within my body. Remember the power of that last attack, because the real fight is just beginning!”
“Is that so? Great, I happen to want to explore more of the world!” Li Chenggang shook his hand and then became serious.
Kui Yin threw his head back and laughed. “Hahaha, then you can use your life to experience it! My Nether Flame Ignition Art will show you a power that will make you despair!”
Kui Yin crossed his arms and let out a furious roar. As he spread them, strange runes lit up on his scales.
“Nether Flame Ignition Art, ten times the power!”
Kui Yin’s power erupted like a volcano, twisting the space on the martial stage.
The vice sect masters of the Calligraphy Sect were shocked. Kui Yin’s strength was incredible.
Ling Yan noticed their reactions and smiled.
She said, “Kui Yin joined my Painting Sect even though he’s not human. He’s extremely talented and strong. Your Calligraphy Sect’s Li Chenggang is supposed to be the top expert of your younger generation. I wonder how long he’ll last against Kui Yin?”
You don’t need to worry about that!” Vice Sect Master Liuyun replied casually, trying to hide his concern behind a calm face.
Kui Yin sprang into action, charging straight at Li Chenggang. His fierce Blood Qi locked onto his target.
Runes flashed on his fist, and the sound of space tearing sent shivers through the crowd. Facing this powerful attack, Li Chenggang raised his palm, which was covered in dense runes. His aura surged higher and higher.
BOOM!
The ground under Li Chenggang’s feet exploded as he was pushed back, leaving a huge tear in the stage.
All the Calligraphy Sect’s disciples gasped at the sight.
