Chapter 383: Chapter 394: Slaying the Gale Leopard

Chu Linfeng and his group found themselves caught in a dual attack: in front were three mighty shape-shifting beasts, and behind them were numerous Blood Crows. If they truly wished to escape, it would be preferable to flee from the back, as the Blood Crows there had been slain and were now leaderless. 𝚏𝕣𝕖𝚎𝚠𝚎𝚋𝚗𝐨𝐯𝕖𝕝.𝕔𝐨𝕞

However, Chu Linfeng was confident in his ability to slay these three beasts, especially since his power increased once he integrated the elemental energies of Water Transformation and Fire Transformation into his Martial Skills.

"I will see what these three beasts actually want. If they can let us leave, it would be best; if not, then we will have no choice but to slay them," said Chu Linfeng, before flying toward the three beasts.

When he was ten meters away from the beasts, he halted and examined the transformed trio carefully. Two appeared as middle-aged men, while the other resembled an old woman, yet the gleam in her eyes suggested unseen depths.

Before Chu Linfeng could speak, one of the middle-aged men among them asked coldly, "Human, why have you come to our Magic Beast Forest? Are you here to steal our secret intelligence?"

His tone was icy, showing an inclination to move against Lin Feng directly, perhaps out of apprehension because Lin Feng’s group managed to escape the Blood Crow swarm.

"I got lost and somehow found myself teleported here. I wonder if you three seniors might permit us to pass," said Lin Feng.

"Do you know what’s ahead? Why do you wish to go forward?" inquired the old woman in a surprisingly youthful voice that startled Lin Feng.

"It’s my first time here, and I’ve lost my way, so naturally I wouldn’t know. If the seniors can enlighten me about it, I would be most grateful," responded Lin Feng humbly, though the chaotic Dragon Power within him was already stirring.

"Kid, you dare lie in front of us? The place ahead is my Beast King Hall, and you claim not to know? It seems you don’t take the three of us seriously," another middle-aged man exclaimed angrily.

"Beast King Hall? Never heard of it. Isn’t that the palace of your magical beast royalty? If so, I’ll just turn back," Lin Feng replied.

"It seems you’re deliberately causing trouble. The Magic Beast Forest is a forbidden zone for humans in all directions, and you blatantly disregard the agreement between magical beasts and humans. If we don’t kill you today, it might be perceived as cowardice from us," the middle-aged man shouted.

With that, his form surged like electricity toward Lin Feng, revealing a blue long sword in his hand, which surprised Lin Feng with the realization that magical beasts had begun utilizing human weapons.

Lin Feng showed no fear, thinking if the beast sought death, he would oblige. His Cyan Frost Sword was quickly enveloped in flames, ready to meet the attack.

Their weapons collided with immense Sword Qi, causing the surrounding space to tremor continuously, and even the tall trees shook from the sheer intensity of the energy.

Both Lin Feng and the middle-aged man were hurled dozens of meters away by the Rebound Force, with Lin Feng traveling slightly farther. Clearly, the strength of the beast was unmatched by humans.

However, Lin Feng’s Fire Element Sword Qi surpassed the man’s in attack power significantly; immediately, dozens of Flaming Sword Qi erupted, nullifying the opponent’s Sword Qi, yet a portion of the Flame Fire landed on him, igniting.

Lin Feng understood Flame Fire’s might thoroughly, knowing the middle-aged man must extinguish it quickly or risk being reduced to ash in a brief time.

Startled by the flames on him, the man hurriedly used powerful Star Power to shake them off. Although swift, a portion of his body was scorched.

Cries of pain forced from him by the searing injury led him to transform back, revealing his amazement as he gazed at Lin Feng.

Lin Feng saw the man’s true form was similar to the Flying Demon Tiger he once slew, appearing as a Demon Leopard, yet he couldn’t identify the leopard precisely.

The leopard had lost a large patch of beast fur on his chest, the flesh underneath charred and emitting a foul burnt smell.

"Kid, you dare harm your Leopard Grandfather? I’ll devour you alive!" the leopard growled angrily.

"Little leopard, no boasting. I’m not interested in killing you, but if you insist, I won’t hesitate!" Lin Feng said, all disdain in his tone.

The leopard was deeply provoked by Lin Feng’s words, howling to the sky before charging swiftly, its tail transforming into a massive whip attempting to strike Lin Feng.

Lin Feng knew being hit would send him flying absurdly far; during their earlier exchange, it became clear the leopard possessed strength comparable to the Sixth Layer of Divine Martial Realm, and he avoided the strike rapidly.

Lin Feng’s speed allowed him to evade the leopard’s attack successfully, the resulting tail strike creating a horrific cyclone.

"Lin Feng, be cautious. It’s likely a Gale Leopard, a magical beast with wind attributes. Its attack speed is extremely fast, but its defense isn’t strong. Be sure to seize the moment for critical damage," Meng Ji transmitted to Lin Feng.

Her voice reached Lin Feng clearly, a Secret Transmission skill for avoiding alerting the other two beasts to their strategy.

Receiving Meng Ji’s advice, Lin Feng prepared to unleash the Sixth Form of Demon-Breaking Fist combined with Ice and Fire Transformation against the leopard, a complex maneuver achievable through the Dual Heart Use.

Lin Feng floated silently in air, patiently awaiting the enraged Gale Leopard’s assault, his fists filled with chaotic Dragon Power.

When the leopard darted forward, Lin Feng swiftly deployed Earth Transformation, engulfing himself in a layer of white stone.

The leopard clawed at Lin Feng unhesitatingly; Lin Feng didn’t evade, allowing the strike, while simultaneously his Sixth Form attacked the leopard.

Meanwhile, his other hand accurately launched Two Ice and Fire Balls, a benefit of close-range combat, sending both Lin Feng and the leopard flying.

The stone sheath on Lin Feng, composed of Earth Element, crumbled under the claw, though Lin Feng barely suffered damage; only a minor aching remained, and not even a scratch appeared, his Defense Power truly astonishing.

Yet, the leopard found no such fortune, as Lin Feng’s punch fractured several of its bones; even so, these injuries wouldn’t suffice.

The real fatal blow came from the Ice and Fire Ball, exploding with Elemental Energy as the leopard tumbled back with a thunderous bang echoing in the sky...
