"I doubt it's my sister." Andres Rocci quickly said as he erased whatever doubts the other leaders had against Francesca Rocci.

"Of course it's not Francesca." Ray shook his head, amused that Andres thought he still needed to defend his sister against those that would question his choice to co-lead the Rocci Family with his sister.

"A woman, her name is Ana, I suggest you go looking for her." Ray said as he handed a file to Andres. "She's been silently climbing the ladder, she isn't anyone exceptional."

Andres nodded as he walked over and took the file.

"I'll look into whether she has any other allies among my people." Andres sighed as he flipped through the document. "I can't believe we didn't spot this."

Ray sighed and shook his head.

"Don't worry, you aren't the only one that let someone slip through the cracks." Ray announced as he began to call out the names of different gangs and mafias, informing them about which member was a traitor. fre𝙚𝓌𝒆𝚋noѵel.c𝚘m

When he finally got to the last two he looked up.

"T, was it?" Ray asked as he pretended that the man's name was no value to him.

T nodded as he took a step forward.

"It seems that they were only beginning to infiltrate your gang, but this one might hit quite close to home." Ray said with a frown as he flipped through the pages of the document.

"Sir?" T asked, his tone was quite humbled, something that Al didn't expect.

"Her name is Nora, does it ring a bell?" Ray asked as he looked up from the document.

T gulped and nodded.

There was a guilty look in his eyes, Al knew that this couldn't be good news. He looked pained and torn with what was happening.

"Sir, I dated her a while back, I honestly had no idea." T said with a frown as he looked down with guilt.

"Were you the one that brought her into the gang?" Ray asked as he asked questions that weren't on the file.

"No, sir." T said, shaking his head. "We met in the gang. So I didn't do much of a background check since she was already on the inside."

Ray nodded as he took out his pen and jotted something down on the file before handing it over to T.

"I'd suggest finding out who brought her in and who were her friends at the beginning." Ray suggested as T took the folder with the file.

T looked at the document, his eyes went wide with shock before calming down. It seemed that the file contained something that T didn't expect.

He quickly calmed down, and only Al and Ray could possibly have seen his reaction.

Al gave his father a questioning look, but the older man ignored him. It must have been something quite serious for Ray not to give him an explanation.

"Fredrico." Ray called out as the last man approached.

He was clearly older than Ray with his balding head and white hair.

"Sir." Fredrico said as he bowed to the King of the Underworld and his son.

"It's Nina." Ray said with a frown as he handed the man the document.

"It can't be." Fredrico gasped as he tore through the files. His reaction showed how shocked he was when the name was mentioned.

Fredrico shook his head as he read through the file, his was the thickest with probably the most evidence.

"We had to get everything to be sure, I'm sorry. I know you adored her as a daughter-in-law." Ray said, his eyes became softer for the first time as he was faced with Fredrico's pain.

"I don't understand." Fredrico's hands were shaking, he was clearly stunned by the new pieces of information he had seen. "I had her thoroughly checked. She was only dating Aman and I already had her background checked."

Ray sighed and frowned.

"She met a man named Colin on a ski trip with Aman." Ray began to say as Al suddenly looked at his father.

"Colin?" Al asked, unable to control himself from asking.

Ray slowly nodded as he confirmed that they were thinking of the same person.

"This Colin, she's been cheating on my son with him?" Fredrico asked, he was clearly furious as he looked through the evidence.

Al didn't know what was in it, but it was clear that there was proof of an extramarital affair based on Fredrico's question.

"She has." Ray confirmed with a nod. "This Colin seems to be the contact of other traitors and spies, we are hunting him down, but we need you to discreetly cut off those that have betrayed us."

"Surely he will be suspicious if all his contacts vanish." Al asked his father as he looked at him, shocked that his father would order such a quick elimination.

Ray nodded and looked proudly at his son as he questioned his father's decision.

"You're right, Aldrich." Ray said, calling his son by his full name. "Nina can be the first to go." Ray looked at Fredrico as he spoke.

"Thank you, sir." Fredrico said as he bowed. ƒ𝐫𝒆𝐞w𝗲𝚋𝗻૦𝘷e𝙡.c𝑜𝙢

"I understand that the pain of this betrayal is worse, so you can use that as a reason to dispose of her. I give you free reign, but I would prefer her dead, one where there would be no room to question the motives." Ray instructed, to which Fredrico nodded.

"Cheating on my son with some random man is more than enough." Fredrico said.

Ray proceeded to mention several names including T's, Andres', and Seth's.

"Those that I mentioned, I'd like for you to stay. Those that I didn't, you may go, I want your traitors investigated and gone in two months." Ray announced giving them a long enough timeline.

Death was definitely not the only thing that the leaders had in mind for the traitors.

They all would want not only to impress Ray, but they also wanted revenge. There people had made them look like idiots in front of the king of the Underworld, it was an unforgivable crime.

"If we might ask, sir, how did you find out about these people?" One of the gang leaders asked as he dared to speak.

"A new member of my own group, he's a very good spy." Ray announced without glancing at his own son.

In a way, Al did belong to what was the royal court of the underworld, he was it's prince.

"This person must be quite skilled to see what our people could not, sir." Another leader praised.

"He is indeed," Ray said with a nod as he dismissed the first batch of leaders.
