In the underground secret room, Zixu quietly pondered the information Kakuzu had just revealed. Though the Akatsuki members weren't exactly close, Kakuzu had already started targeting his own "teammates" for bounties to exchange for cash. As a result, he had gathered a significant amount of intel on them.

Unfortunately, he died before putting his plan into action—and that valuable intel was now passed on to Zixu.

"Orochimaru's been researching the Fruit? The Six Paths of Pain are about to attack Konoha? Akatsuki is collecting the Tailed Beasts to awaken the Ten-Tails?"

The more Zixu thought about it, the more intrigued he became. Leaving aside Akatsuki's move on Konoha, was the Fruit Orochimaru researching the same artificial Devil Fruit Zixu had given him? If not, then could the mysterious man who resembled Doflamingo—sent by Rosinante —be tied to this Fruit Orochimaru was studying?

Or, to go even further... had some of the missing system functions been transferred to Orochimaru?

And the Ten-Tails... now that was fascinating. Based on Kakuzu's description, it seemed Akatsuki planned to seal the power of all Tailed Beasts to awaken the Ten-Tails. Though the next steps weren't specified, Zixu had a good idea of what they were aiming for.

"The Sage of the Six Paths was the Ten-Tails' Jinchūriki. They're trying to create a god..."

Zixu rubbed his chin, deep in thought. There were even rumors that the Sage of the Six Paths had a brother who lived on the moon. Whether that was true or not, it gave him a crazy idea—why not set the next goal as leaving Earth and heading for the moon?

"Well, your information really is useful, so... I'll seal you up for a while," Zixu said, snapping his fingers. Sealing spells instantly enveloped Kakuzu's body, finally silencing his spirit.

Still, the chakra channels didn't stop siphoning his chakra.

Who said chakra could only be extracted while conscious? That was just a lesson Zixu had made sure Kakuzu learned the hard way.

After leaving the secret chamber, Zixu emerged to the surface and spotted the elegant and composed Sara smiling as she chatted with Karin, Hyuga Chinano, and others.

"How'd this chick end up hanging with Karin and the others?" Zixu muttered. Remembering he hadn't checked Roran current state, he strolled forward.

"So if you wanna win a guy's heart, strength is the key. Once you're strong enough to beat Lord Dragon God, he'll be yours," Sara declared proudly.

She didn't realize Zixu had snuck up behind her. Karin, Hyuga Chinano, and Aburame Hatsuizumi just kept their mouths shut, staring at the sky or examining their nails as if flowers were blooming on them.

"But we don't have that kind of power. That's terrifying," Aburame Hatsuizumi said, following her usual principle of stirring the pot.

"That's easy. Even if you can't beat him in real life, in bed..."

Zixu slammed his knuckles lightly onto Sara's forehead. Why was this woman getting weirder with age?

"L-Lord Dragon God..." Sara instantly lost her fire, her eyes darting to the sky as her face flushed bright red.

"Alright, enough nonsense. We've seen most of Sky City. Since Chinano and the others are here, let's head to Roran. I'm curious about how it looks now," Zixu said, changing the subject. Sara looked relieved. Aburame Hatsuizumi, standing nearby, joined the conversation.

"So... her story about time travel is true?" She asked, strangely fixated on the idea.

"I'm not exactly sure how, but yeah, it looks like we've gone back to the past. I've even seen your and Hyuga Chinano's father," Zixu said. Leaving a clone behind to maintain the flame cloud, he headed downward with Sara and the others.

"How amazing! So I really can travel through time and space," Aburame Hatsuizumi said, looking like she'd just opened the door to a new world.

"You sound confident. It'd be more impressive if you'd open your damn eyes," Karin muttered, looking at Aburame Hatsuizumi clinging to her back, terrified of heights.

Roran's in that direction. Get ready," Sara said, pointing toward a stretch of desert.

"I don't see any buildings..." Hyuga Chinano squinted through the sandstorm but spotted nothing.

"Roran's underground now. The Dragon Vein's been sealed, but it's not entirely useless," Sara explained. She led them to an unremarkable spot with a small entrance door.

She stepped in first, and the others followed. Inside, the air was noticeably cooler. The howling winds faded as they descended the spiral staircase.

Hovering puppet vehicles shaped like small motorcycles appeared. Sara gestured for everyone to mount up. The machines hovered like they were gliding, surprisingly stable.

"Though the main Dragon Vein is sealed, we can still use some branches," Sara said as they traveled. "But they're dwindling. In a few years, they'll dry up."

Unlike typical damp underground caves, this place was warm and well-lit. Lush plants thrived, making it far more livable than the scorching surface above.

Sara stopped her puppet vehicle and approached a grove of neat trees. She plucked a few large red fruits and handed them out.

"Try them. They have special effects."

Aburame Hatsuizumi took one and let her bug companion taste it first. After confirming it was safe, she chomped it down.

"Sweet... and... huh? I think my chakra reserves just got bigger?"she said, surprised.

"Of course. This is a Roran specialty. Most people don't get to eat these," Sara said proudly, clapping her hands.

Behind her, a massive puppet emerged.

How massive? The entire underground base had been designed just to house it.

"This is our home and Roran's greatest weapon," Sara declared as a compartment opened at the puppet's leg.

"Living in a giant puppet? Interesting," Zixu said thoughtfully. "If we modify it and supply enough chakra, maybe it could fly to the moon..."

He nodded to himself. The idea was actually viable. Energy wouldn't be an issue. Kakuzu's sealed body upstairs, constantly supplying chakra, was perfect for the job.
