Narika: The Ghost Bride-Chapter 237 - Two Hundred And Thirty-Seven: Detective Narika.

While Morgan was explaining everything to Narika, including why Lucifer had to do what he did to her son. The Grand Alliance has expected that she would be an easy one to tame, unlike Lucifer who was only easily convinced because what happened has to do with someone from his past that he should have killed a long time ago, but left it for the crystal palace to do but now, everyone was wishing that he should have done that himself.

They thought that they were going places with convincing Narika, not to beat any hate in her heart towards Lucifer because the time they were in right now, calls for critical thinking and everyone’s hands on decks for a solution.

For the first time the crystal palace is working with hell, but that is undercover because Micheal has requested that the Grand Alliance keep this away from Lucifer.

So, for Narika she was meant not to be a problem, until after Morgan was done with his explanation but all he got back was an unserious laughter from her path, she didn’t believe any of his words not that they didn’t know why, but she chose not to believe them.

"So, you are trying to tell me that Lucifer made some bad friends that are trying to kill the whole dimension including earth, and that demon is the one responsible for the killings and the kidnapping of my uncle and his girlfriend?" She asked, looking at everyone’s serious faces to read their body language in case they were lying to her.

But then it doesn’t just end with the body language, because moments ago none of them had acted nor blinked an eye to when Lucifer did what he did, for her to read their mind and body language in time to know what was about to happen.

So, just like moments ago, they all are lying!

"Yes, Narika. His name is Rowan and he’s an ancient demon, one that wouldn’t be killed so easily which is why everyone is..." 𝘧𝓇ℯ𝑒𝓌𝑒𝑏𝓃𝘰𝘷𝘦𝘭.𝒸ℴ𝓂

"You all are nothing but advanced motherfucking liars." She said, banging her hands down on the table in a frustrating manner while glaring at each of them." So, this is about Lucifer? You all are working for him or something or did he compelled you guys, just like he did to my son to try to convince me into doing what? Allow him to control my mind too?" She added.

"With all due respect, Narika, the Grand Alliance has no relationship whatsoever with Lucifer. Our main aim here is restoring balance to all dimensions including that of the witches, Raj is here because one of her kind was killed, a sister like you."Morgan continued.

"Well that sounds like a you- problem, I don’t really see much reasons why i would want to help any of you when i can track this so-called demon on my own, and find my uncle." Narika said, nonchalantly.

Her words made Oregon snickered because this was the biggest joke in history.

"Seriously, Narika. You don’t want to do that, trust me." Morgan advanced more in trying to persuade her that it made her wonder if the rest of the others don’t have a mouth or what. Maybe they are dumb?

"Yeah, I know exactly what i want and that is to watch that so-called demon tear Lucher limbs to limbs, I don’t care about you guys." She said coldly, and Morgan tried talking but Oregon beat him to it.

"But you care about your son?" Oregon asked, as Narika turned to face him. Finally the grand advisor was trying to use her son against her?

"You will leave my son out of your dirty lips, you old man." She warned him, but Sakura took offense with her words.

"Hey!" She shouted at Narika.

"It’s alright." Oregon told Sakura, keeping her from engaging into a full blown battle with Narika because he knew who was going to win and who was going to end up injured.

He didn’t reason her words that much because he’s old, much older than her grandfather three times his age so it doesn’t hurt hearing her call him old or did it hurt?

"Look, you might think what we do here is just for our benefit, but you will learn to find out that you also need our help just like we are in need of yours too." Oregon said, his calm demeanor made him different from the others, that Narika wasn’t able to conclude the deal with him.

"What do you mean by that?"She asked.

"Rowan is after Lucifer and everyone that caused him pain, and Ares your son isn’t excluded from that because Rowan enriched his powers by feeding on people’s life force, and guess who had the strongest lifeforces around here?"

"Ares." Narika mumbled, as her heart skipped at the thought of losing him to the hand of such a monster.

"So, it’s now left for you to know whether we are pleading for your help or not, because in the other way around you also need us to protect your son, that was why Lucifer altered his growth, he’s more likely to be killed as a baby than as an adult."

"But he turned him against us, his parents. How am i suppose to believe that Lucifer wants the same thing with you guys by what he did?" She asked, heartbroken.

"Well, believe it or not, that child was never meant to be a baby to you. He’s meant for far greater things that not even you can protect his innocence, he’s a demon, Narika so he carries the bloodlust and every other thing that comes with being a demon, all you have to do is to live with it." Oregon explained, and Narika found the truth looking right at her.

Ares is a demon, a special one at that so there was nothing she could do to escape this, She can’t escape destiny. Raj made her know that.

After much speculation, it all came down too one thing." Fine, how may i help you guys?"She asked with folded arms, she will protect Areas from this said demon and rescue her uncle and fianceè.

"Recently, the crystal palace was attacked and lost a very important possession to which they came down to conclude that it was done by an insider." Oregon said, hearing about the crystal palace gave Narika goose bumps, she had no good memory about it.

"How does that have to do with any of this?"She asked, not really getting the hand of all these.

"Because we all suspect that there’s an inside as well in hell. Trust me, Narika, whoever this is, is really closer than you all think, which is why we need you to find out who that is."Oregon said.

"So, I get to play spy?" She nodded her head.

"It’s actually far from that, because there’s no time. You are to find out who that is before two days are up."

"Excuse me, I’m no detective, if the crystal palace were easily fooled, why would you think that i am the right person to find out who is working for Rowan?"

"Because he’s going to try to approach you and Ares, so you are the perfect person for this, and we hope that you do not fail us. The world is counting on you, Narika. If Rowan gets to ingest Ares’ power, darkness would rule and this is not just any darkness. People will die and there will be no one left after he’s done with his revenge, so what do you say?"
