Narika: The Ghost Bride-Chapter 211 - Two Hundred And Eleven:The Mother.
Adrik didn’t believe that all these celebration, and galavantings going on would spare his father his wrath, the man has pretty much ruined any chances of him helping him in his fight against the crystal palace.
If anything, he had come to believe that it was better with the way hell was being treated, because if that changed, Lucifer would be way worse in his ruling than the Overruler.
But when he turned to his side where his mate, and child was he found Narina smiling, she was enjoying this and he couldn’t blame her. Her parents who should have been the people to celebrate with her, had rather turned their back in their daughter because she loved him.
"Babe, we need to go."Adrik told her, cutting her happiness short as a frown settled upon her face, at him ruining this happy moment for her and her son.
"What do you mean by that? These are your people, you can’t turn your back on them, baby look. They cheer for our son." She told him, she didn’t understand what exactly was going on with him but today was a special day for her, this was her son’s birthday and she didn’t want to ruin the day further like how her mother did.
"Yeah, because they see him as a weapon rather than an actual person." Adrik said, looking over her head to see his father, the seer and few members of the Grand Alliance coming up to where they stood. Oregon wasn’t here and he understood why.
"He’s my son, I would die than let Lucifer turn him into a weapon of mass destruction." He added, before Lucifer appeared where they stood and the cheering for his grandchild died down the moment he raised his right hand up.
"This is the moment we have been waiting for, for years hell hasn’t been receiving it’s recognition and we all had been treated not less than a slave, but now we have a saviour. A King, who is going to wipe a thousand years of tears in a much more better days for eternity!!" He roared, and the cheering took on another form as Adrik watched the way everyone was happy about the birth of his son.
Had it been, his existence wasn’t linked to some stupid prophecy, that no one had any idea if he’s gonna die winning against the crystal palace, or not. He would have allowed everyone present to see his son as a blessing, but no!
He had no idea what Lucifer had planned doing all of this, but one thing was clear right now, and that is the part where he’s going to kill him before he thinks of touching a strand on his son’s hair for some stupid fight.
The seer walked up to where Narika was, holding a burning incense, then another substance that he couldn’t mahe out what that is, and when she dipped her hand in it and tried to touch Narika’s temple, he halted her.
"Relax, son. I mean no harm this time." Lucifer assured him, but Adrik wasn’t having it.
"It’s for protection until the cleansing ceremony for both mother and son is ready."The seer said, before Narika looked at Adrik, assuring him that she would be fine before the old woman went ahead to rub an upside down cross in the middle of her temple.
After she was done with Narika, she did the same with her son, but instead of his temple, the white substance was rubbed on top of his chest.
"Why isn’t he changing into human form?" Narina asked, he should by now take the form of the others but she had no idea how to train a baby demon.
"Don’t worry, it’s not permanent. Baby demons take on their real form for days then after the cleansing ceremony, he will be as good as the others." The seer told her with a smile, before she told Adrik and Narika that they were free to take a rest, while Lucifer went on to address the public.
Whe they walked towards their new room, his step siblings appeared out of no where making Narika to jump, and Adrik hissed at them.
"Sorry, I am over excited. I just couldn’t wait to see him." Aurora said cheerfully, making Azazel to call her so that she could calm down.
Everyone was present right now, except from Abbadon. He’s locked up in the dungeon asper Lucifer’s order, they all were really shocked to hear the news, since Lucifer favored him among them all, but it’s obvious to everyone who the new favourite son is right now.
Ares Morningstar.
"Can i touch him?" Aurora asked.
"I’m sorry, but he hasn’t been cleaned since he was birthed, maybe later." Narika told her with a smile, but Aurora could see that she didn’t trust her yet.
Well, she deserved that, afterall her brother has used her to make the girl think that she cornived with them to separate her from Adrik.
"Okay." Aurora said nervously, before moving away so that Adrik and Narika could leave for their room.
"If you want a baby, I could help with that." Narika heard Azazel tell Aurora, who looked like she was ok on the verge of crying after she replied him with a big no, and that made her wonder how exactly everyone could act like it’s normal that the both were sleeping with each other.
The moment, they arrived at the door of his room and pushed right through the door, there stood Polina and two other maid who bowed instantly seeing the both of them.
"We have been assigned by the Queen dowager to help clean the baby." Polina said in a robot like tone that made Adrian and Narika look at themselves before looking back at her.
Adrik wondered what torture his father has put this young lady through, for her to he so broken to the point that she didn’t recognize him again.
While Narika was having second thoughts about handing her baby over to her, if she could really correctly. Polina had taken a knife to her neck at Oregon’s palace and Adrik killed her. So how is she still alive?
What has Lucifer done to her?
"Polina." Adrik called her, but a frown settled across her face instantly hearing him call her that.
"My name is Margaret, my Lord. I apologize if i resemble someone you know." Polina said, with a smile.
"You have got to be kidding me." Adrian mumbled under his breathe, before leaving for the other side of the room that clearly was his quarters.
"Can i help hold him, my lady?"Polina went up to Narika, her hands stretched out to hold Ares, but Narika disagreed instantly.
She didn’t trust anyone yet around her son.
"Lead the way." She said, making Polina clap her hands before a curtain towards the bathroom was drawn, and she walked into see how upgraded the bathroom was, and she could admit Lucifer had overdid himself preparing for the arrival of his grandson.
She had no other option but to hand the baby over to Polina, since she also needed to tidy up, to which the one of the maids that were with her, offered to help her bathe and she had to remind herself that these demon’s were clearly insane.
Like who the hell needs someone to help bath her? 𝐟𝗿𝐞𝚎𝚠𝐞𝚋𝕟𝐨𝚟𝐞𝕝.𝕔𝕠𝚖
She declined her help, and afterwards it didn’t take much for her and Ares to he sparkling clean, which leaves her to one last task, feeding him.
She had questions, that not even Polina could answer because she left before she could say anything, and she had no other option than to try breastfeeding her.
"Eat." She urged the young child, who was looking at her like a fool. Her breast was out and nothing seemed like it seemed like he was interested in trying that out.
"What’s wrong with you? You need to eat?" She talked to him, like as if he’s listening and could understand what she was saying. But instead all she got was a cackle from his side that made her burst into laughter too.
"Had he eaten yet?" Adrian asked, when he walked into their bedroom to see the both them laughing at themselves.
"Not yet, he clearly isn’t fascined by my breast."Narika said, with pouted lips.
"Well, I love your breast." Adrian corkily said, making his way over to her, to peck her temple.
"I just popped out a baby for you, Adrik. Stop seducing me."She joked.
"Well, I wouldn’t mind putting another child in." He said, making cute faces at his son who giggled aloud, until a knock on the door dragged their attention to see who it was.
Five years wasn’t enough to make Adrik forget what she looked like, even as she walked dressed up in the finest linen as per the newest queen of hell.
Adrian could confess she’s living quite a good life over here, but then what about Vanessa?
Even if she didn’t love Jason, doesn’t she owe it to Vanessa to stay on earth rather than to break the young girl’s heart?
When blue eyes met blue eyes, with no words said amongst them yet. Narika didn’t wait for either of them to do the introduction for her to know who was here.
The mother.
Adrik’s mother is here.
Keep calm and write something...
