"I’m afraid to say sir, My men..got nothing.." Amos’ words weren’t complete, before a twinkle of an eye he was slammed to the nearest wall, while Lucifer hand’s were wrapped tightly around his throat as he bared his fangs at him in anger.
"It’s been two days, two fucking days! You can’t tell me that he disappeared from the face of the earth, you fool!" Lucifer grits out in anger, over things getting more complicated than it is and not working out like he had planned over the two days that had asked, without any good news concerning Adrian nor the little witch.
"I ..promise sir, I.. will find him." Amos managed to speak, while trying to plead indirectly for his life because Lucifer wasn’t in his best mood these days.
His woman, Adrik’s mother who he had kidnaped few nights ago hasn’t woken up after that fit she threw days ago, and he had assumed that it also contributed to his anger, because everyone.. including his children was perceiving everything.
Lucifer tries to remind himself that this was his army general, and he was the best out of the thousands of army soldiers he’s got, if there’s anyone to find Adrik that would be him.
But he underestimated Adrik too much, the motherfucker had luck on his side and stayed two days without anyone finding out where exactly in hell or on earth he was, it made him wonder if involving Marilyn into this wouldn’t do a good job at luring him as soon as possible.
Afterall that was what she was here for, but she also hasn’t woken up in two days, and that had cost him the lives of the two doctors that were in charge of her treatment.
She was in a long sleep, and is refusing to wake up and he’s done allowing her to as she pleases, because he’s fucking angry and she’s the only one who is his best chance to keep him sane so as to not kill everyone in his place.
"You wouldn’t be so stupid as to kill your general, Lucifer. That’s enough." Erin, his best friend appears into his throne room catching his attention as his brow quivers at him calling him stupid.
But he was right, it wouldn’t benefit him in any way that he kills Amos, he can’t involve Abbadon into this, since he wouldn’t promise not to kill Adrik out of spite of him taking his garlour ever since he arrived here.
Besides, It seemed Abaddon had something going on for the little witch, he didn’t want to kill two of his sons because of that bitch who had refused Baran to the permanent possession of her body.
The lesser the attention Narika gets, the fewer bodies he has to dispose of when she’s finally in his arms.
Lucifer’s sick plan that he was hiding from his children was for him, to be the one to breed Narika instead of Adrik. Since his son was wasting time to do the needful, and time was running out.
"Get out." He said to Amos after he stepped away from him, and went up to take up his glass cup containing the blood of the fresh virgin that was killed recently, he scooped it down in one go while his eyes stayed on Erin who had an amused grin on his face, as he sat down on a seat.
"You are looking stressed, Dear friend. Remind me to send over a good masseur to help relieve you of..."
"What are you doing here?" Lucifer cut him short of his words as he clicked his teeth with his tongue, before standing to face him.
If he could remember their last encounter didn’t end up well, and he’s angry at him for raising his hands on him. But unlike him, Erin was the most forgiving demon among their friendship, but did he forget to add the fact that he’s smart too.
Too smart for his liking, that sometimes he didn’t like the fact that he takes advice from his best friend while he was the one who was supposed to control everything, and not seek favors from others.
"I heard you took the kid’s mother." Erin said, with his hands at his back.
"What i do with my woman is not your business, Erin. If you have nothing else to say, the door is open for you to leave." Lucifer replied, turning to keep the glass cup back down.
"I am afraid to say this, but i know no one else would be brave enough to tell you this, Lucifer. If you continue this way, you are gonna lose everything. She doesn’t deserve to be involved in this."
Lucifer scoffed, before walking over to him."Yeah, tell her that when she’s screaming my name when i am balls deep inside of her, what i do to her is none of your business. If anything, she loves it here more than you,Mate." Lucifer smirked.
"She loves it enough to try escaping, don’t take me as a fool, Bro. This isn’t you, Lucifer. You are using everyone around for this prophecy, and if you continue this way, you will run out of options soon." He was far lost in his greed to have everything, to see that he’s losing everyone close to him.
"The night of the cursed is fast approaching, Lucifer. Adrik is supposed to be here to breed his..."
"And he will be here,Mate. I didn’t tell you he wouldn’t." Lucifer snapped.
"But you are trying to breed the girl instead, you called your son a traitor."
"That’s what he was when he ran away with the girl..."
"In safety for his life and that of hers! You don’t see it, Lucifer. But you guys were close to destroying each other." Erin said, holding his arm so he could look at him in the face and see how serious he was.
"Well that’s good, I kill him and then get his mother to give me another son, while i get to dictate how things are runned around here when his mate carries my demon seed instead of his. I can control everything here, to my victory in this war." Lucifer cackled while Erin shaked his head in denial.
"This is the last time i will be here to advise you, Lucifer. I’m not doing this anymore."He says, stepping back to leave.
"Well news flash loser, I don’t need any of your lame advice anymore, but i trust you would do well to avoid spilling any of my secrets to the wrong ears. It would be such a pity to kill an old friend."
Lucifer threatened him, while he watched him leave before his guards ran up to him to reveal the good news.
" The lady is awake, sir."
