Chapter 1321: Chapter 442 Sun Goddess, Moonlight Goddess

High Priest Manor.

The living room was bustling with people, a kaleidoscope of colors.

Cote and Guinevere, after parting ways with Paris and Wayne, each reached out to their respective goddesses to report Wayne’s unreliable behavior.

This guy carries the bowl of the Sun/Moonlight Goddess while eyeing the pot of Darkness. Not only did he welcome Twilight Deadlock, but he also slept with the Dark Saintess Anastasia and the Dark Knight Vizi.

Bribery + heresy must be severely punished!

The results were not great. The two goddesses were silent for a moment before issuing a Divine Decree each.

The content of the decrees was identical, as if pre-discussed.

The goddesses did not blame Wayne, brushed over the matter lightly, and instructed the Holy Maidens to find Wayne as quickly as possible. Upon meeting, the goddess would descend and have a chat with Wayne personally.

What? My goddess, he committed heresy, and you seriously don’t plan to say anything?

Could it be that his sins are so grave that he must be judged face-to-face?

The two Holy Maidens received the decree and left for London to search for Wayne. They coincidentally arrived at the Lando Manor gathering—a massive flock of chatter and giggles adding insult to injury for the already annoyed Cote and Guinevere.

What the hell, how did this guy become the God-chosen Knight? Do goddesses not care about knightly virtue anymore?

It doesn’t make sense. Clearly, Leo/Dreyne possess strong knightly virtues.

At the private gathering, it was said all the attendees were Wayne’s girlfriends. After sorting them out, there were further categorizations like fiancée, lover, secretary, madam, sweetheart, darling, and various other tags.

A world-class spectacle [Little Pieces]

The two Holy Maidens weren’t aware that more than half of these women were just there for fun. Especially the Resentful Spirit, who had transitioned from a Naturalism Church Holy Maiden, loudly claiming Wayne as "my husband" and "my boyfriend" with chaotic fervor.

Wayne had spoiled them too much.

Soon, the two found the opposing camp trio, ignoring the lounging Sukra—specifically the Dark Saintess and the pair of knights.

Cote and Guinevere were on edge, preparing for an epic battle.

But it didn’t happen. Upon learning the two had come to find Wayne, Anastasia offered a subtle smile, Vizi nodded faintly, and there was no further interaction.

While the two were still baffled, the social butterfly Slyphy approached them with a champagne glass in hand and enthusiastically began chatting.

"When did you meet him? Where did you meet him? How far have you gotten?"

"Just friends?"

"Excuse me, I have something to attend to."

Slyphy, busy beyond measure, didn’t have time for idle chat with mere friends. She left with a polite yet elegant smile and happily moved on to her next target.

"You must be Veronica, Wayne mentioned you to me. You look familiar. Have we met before?"

"Old Witch, today you’ll get what’s coming to you!"

After a scuffle that was neither intense nor flashy, Veronica received a karate chop, collapsed into Chris’s arms to complain while Viley grinned smugly from the side.

The two were utterly bewildered and couldn’t understand anything.

Cote and Guinevere attempted to blend in and quickly found their group—Chris and Viley.

Chris and Guinevere looked strikingly alike, with almost identical platinum blonde hair, as if created from the same template, with fine features and striking similarity in their facial structure, clearly showing a familial connection.

Chris was an orphan, who had wandered the streets in her childhood and lived in Julian Family charity homes for two years.

The Julian Family was indeed where Fieldster Julian of the Tulip Family belonged. Yes, Lord Pride had constructed orphanages across Windsor. Without him, Chris would have starved to death long ago.

Chris’s childhood environment had been awful, and her adoptive family’s environment was equally abysmal. Not until she started school and made friends did smiles begin appearing on her face.

She would never admit it openly, but when she saw other people’s children, she envied them deeply for the familial bond she had never tasted.

Upon meeting Guinevere, Chris’s eyes lit up.

On the other side, Cote and Viley were in a staring contest.

Learning that Viley was Sun Knight’s backup, Cote exclaimed in disbelief. Viley also found it shocking, noting sarcastically how a Church Holy Maiden looked like nothing special—perhaps even less resilient than her.

By the way, Veronica, though expressing discontent toward Guinevere, didn’t believe that two Moonlight figures equated to double happiness. She wasn’t a casual flirt; she valued genuine emotions.

As the gathering ended, Wayne didn’t show up. Chris invited the two Holy Maidens back to her place—Wayne Manor.

After waiting fruitlessly, Chris glanced at Viley, who shrugged, saying all those who were supposed to have arrived last night indeed came, except Chris’s teacher, High Priestess Philomena.

Where was Wayne? Was it hard to guess?

The four headed for High Priest Manor. Before leaving, Valkyrie, upon hearing the goddess wanted to meet Wayne, eagerly hopped into the carriage.

The Owl Ah Xue did the same, dodging Monica’s pounce and squeezing into the car.

Wayne had gone to Buckingham Palace for a meeting, leaving only the twin bodyguards/maids at the manor. Upon hearing of the Holy Maiden’s arrival, they went to the bedroom to wake the still-sleeping Philomena.

See, this is what happens when you mess around with pretty boys—you skip work, collect full attendance pay but get busted during a surprise check-in.

Upon hearing the Holy Maidens had arrived, Philomena immediately forgot her fatigue, shuffled over to the bathroom, and freshened up.

In the living room, Philomena sat across from Guinevere, holding a cup of tea to mask her awkwardness. In her mind, she cursed Wayne vehemently while maintaining a dignified smile under several disdainful gazes.

"Philomena, congratulations on becoming a Legendary Mage. You’ve done well in Lundan... uh, good job." Guinevere raised her hand to cover her face, unable to continue her compliments—a blatant awkward end.
