...
A pile of seven or eight Level 2 and Level 3 Strategic Artifacts suddenly appeared in front of him, and Ethan’s eyes were immediately drawn to one in particular — the Green Dragon Necklace, gleaming like moonlight in the dark.
"The Green Dragon Necklace, huh..."
He picked it up for a closer look.
And just like that, his eyes lit up.
"Holy crap, it really is!"

Ding!
"Congratulations, player Valkarion has obtained one of the components of Green Dragon’s Might — the Green Dragon Necklace. You now meet the activation requirements for partial effects of the Level 4 Strategic Artifact, Green Dragon’s Might. Would you like to activate it?"
"Activate!" Ethan didn’t hesitate for a second.
Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh!
In an instant, the Green Dragon Necklace in Ethan’s hand, the Green Dragon Scepter in Cicero’s, and the Green Dragon Longsword held by Seraphina all lit up and floated into the air, merging together into a single, unified artifact.
Ding!
"Level 4 Strategic Artifact — Green Dragon’s Might, three-piece set successfully activated!"

"Damn..." Ethan froze for a second, then let out a sharp breath.
Holy hell.
Seriously, holy hell...
Just three pieces, and it already unlocked the effects of a Level 4 Strategic Artifact?
And these stat boosts—are they for real? ƒгeeweɓn૦vel.com
Shit... I had no idea Level 4 Strategic Artifacts were this insane! Full stat boosts, talent upgrades, reduced recruitment costs and time, damage buffs... it covers everything.
No wonder it’s the racial artifact of the Green Dragon clan.
"Ma... Master, is this... the Green Dragon’s Might?" Cicero’s voice trembled with excitement. This time, even he couldn’t hold back his emotions.
As a Hero Unit of the Green Dragon race, Cicero had always felt a deep, instinctive yearning for Green Dragon’s Might—the legendary racial artifact of his kind. It wasn’t just a symbol of power; it was a sacred relic, a piece of their legacy.
And for him—and for Seraphina, too, as fellow Green Dragon Hero Units—the artifact wasn’t just compatible. It was perfect. If either of them could wield the complete Green Dragon’s Might, it would easily become one of the most powerful Level 4 Strategic Artifacts in existence—second only to the rare Level 5s.
But the world of Glory Lords X was massive, sprawling beyond imagination. Trying to track down and reassemble all the lost components of Green Dragon’s Might was like trying to find a single scale in a sea of dragons. Nearly impossible.
That’s why, even though Cicero had always carried a quiet obsession with it, he’d never dared to hope too much.
Until now...
"It’s not the full Green Dragon’s Might," Ethan said, shaking his head. "Just a three-piece set." He handed the artifact over to Cicero.
Cicero froze, stunned. "You’re... giving it to me?"
"Well, who else would I give it to?" Ethan smirked. "You wanna ask Seraphina if she wants it instead?"
"I don’t want it!" Seraphina cut in immediately, shaking her head like the thing was cursed.
But Cicero knew better. He could feel it—Seraphina was holding back for his sake. As another Green Dragon Hero Unit, the pull of Green Dragon’s Might on her would’ve been just as strong. She was stepping aside for him.
That hit him hard.
"Thank you, Master... for this honor." Cicero finally accepted the artifact, then dropped to one knee in front of Ethan, bowing his head in solemn gratitude.
That kneel wasn’t just for Ethan.
It was for the Green Dragon race.
Because now that he held Green Dragon’s Might, even if incomplete, he bore the weight of their legacy—and the hope of their revival.
"Alright, alright, get up already," Ethan said with a chuckle, pulling Cicero back to his feet. Then he turned to Kyros, frowning slightly. "Kyros, is that all? I don’t see the Gem Dragon Bracelet."
"Don’t worry, Master. I’ve got more," Kyros replied, shaking his head. Then he reached into his claw and pulled out two more items.
One was a glittering gemstone bracelet.
The other—a crystal, clear as glass, pulsing with immense magical energy.
"Wait... is that the Arcane Core of the Fortress?!" Auremax gasped, eyes wide.
"The what now?" Ethan asked, intrigued.
"One of the Tower faction’s greatest magical creations," Auremax explained, his voice reverent. "The Arcane Core of the Fortress contains an enormous reservoir of magical energy. It’s used as the central power source for Fortresses. Among all the energy cores available, this one is the most powerful..."
He paused, his gaze flickering with awe before continuing in a lower, more serious tone. "In fact, in some ways, the Arcane Core of the Fortress might even be more valuable than the Primordial Force of a Crimson Ultimate-tier hero."
Ethan blinked. "Seriously?"
Without another word, he stepped forward and carefully took the Arcane Core of the Fortress from Kyros’s claw, holding it up to the light as its magical aura pulsed through his fingers.
