Chapter 223: Triple Divine Storm

Strictly speaking, the military forces of the Crimsonstar Kingdom could be divided into four main components:

First, the Hero Units led by Thalric himself.

Second, the terrifying army of Sacred Kirins (Tier 14) and regular Kirins (Tier 13).

Third, the Naga Swordsmen (Tier 11) and Naga Swordmasters (Tier 12).

And finally, an overwhelming number of mixed low-tier troops, all Tier 10 and below.

The first two groups were by far the most powerful and dangerous.

The latter two, while still formidable, posed a decreasing threat in terms of overall strength and impact.

But right now? Thalric was being double-teamed by Seraphina and Roland—completely tied up, unable to make a move.

The rest of Crimsonstar’s Hero Units? They were being hunted down one by one by Draven and the other heroes, along with the Hero Units from Stellamaris Kingdom.

They were all locked in combat—effectively neutralized.

In other words, it was like Crimsonstar Kingdom had already lost one arm in this war.

Their threat level and combat power had taken a serious nosedive.

And that other "arm"—the one made up of the 13-Tier Kirins and 14-Tier Sacred Kirins?

They were now facing off against the Angel and Archangel legions brought in by Roland from the Unicorn Duchy.

Sure, in naval combat, Angels usually had a hard time going up against Kirins.

But here’s the thing:

Crimsonstar had 100 Tier-13 Kirins and 30 Sacred Kirins.

Unicorn Duchy? They brought 200 Tier-13 Angels and 50 Tier-14 Archangels.

That’s nearly double the numbers—giving them a clear and overwhelming advantage.

So yeah, that second arm? Crippled too.

To put it bluntly, from the very start of this war, Crimsonstar Kingdom had been fighting with both arms tied behind its back.

If they still couldn’t win like this, they might as well quit the game and go bash their heads against a rock.

BOOOOM!

THUD!

Suddenly, a massive, terrifying domain barrier erupted across the battlefield.

Thunder cracked and lightning tore through the sky in an instant.

High above, Cicero had unleashed his Sacred Realm. Around him, countless magical particles surged together, radiating a terrifying, almost suffocating energy.

Then—lightning.

Blinding, devastating bolts of it, forming rapidly in the air, each one pulsing with raw power.

A second later, those bolts came crashing down from the heavens, slamming into the ocean below.

The sea exploded.

Waves surged violently, and screams echoed across the battlefield as countless low-tier Crimsonstar troops were instantly obliterated—reduced to ash in the blink of an eye.

But it didn’t stop there.

The paralyzing energy of the lightning spread through the seawater like wildfire, extending its reach without limit.

In mere moments, tens of thousands of Crimsonstar’s low-tier troops were frozen in place, completely paralyzed by the thunder’s wrath—helpless, unable to move.

ROOOAAAR!

At that moment, Seraphina shouted, her voice cutting through the chaos.

"Elyra! You’re up next! Show these bugs what real power looks like!"

"Got it!"

Elyra nodded sharply, and in the next instant, a massive surge of magical energy erupted from her body—so intense it felt like the air itself was about to shatter.

A chorus of divine, ethereal voices began to echo faintly from her, like whispers from another world.

Anyone nearby felt their pupils contract, their bodies tense, and their skin crawl with goosebumps.

BOOOOM!

Then, from Elyra’s body, massive arcs of lightning burst forth, accompanied by a blinding, holy light so pure and intense it looked like it could tear open the sky itself.

And it kept growing—bigger, brighter, more terrifying.

It was like a sun had been born right there on the battlefield.

No—more than one.

One.

Two.

Three...

Under Elyra’s control and channeling, the terrifying magical energy surged and twisted—until finally, it condensed into three massive orbs of lightning, each one blazing like a miniature sun.

The sheer pressure radiating from them was suffocating. It wasn’t just the low-tier troops who felt it—hell, even Thalric, still locked in a brutal clash with Seraphina and Roland, suddenly froze mid-swing. His entire body shuddered, his face went pale, and he gasped:

"It’s... it’s over!"

Right then, Elyra’s eyes narrowed, a sharp gleam flashing through them. Her voice rang out, low and commanding:

"Triple Divine Storm—

Unleash!"

BOOM!

BOOM!

BOOM—

RUMMMMMMBLE—

The moment those three blazing "Thunder Suns" slammed into the ocean, it was like the end of the world had arrived.

A deafening, earth-shattering explosion erupted from the sea.

In an instant, the entire ocean turned into a raging, apocalyptic hellscape—like dozens, maybe hundreds, of underwater volcanoes had erupted all at once. The shockwaves were so massive they made the sea boil and the sky tremble.

Hurricane-force winds—no, more like tornadoes made of raw magic—ripped outward in every direction, carrying with them an insane amount of destructive power.

And in the middle of it all, there wasn’t even time for screams.

Crimsonstar Kingdom’s low-tier troops—hell, even their Tier 11 and Tier 12 Royal Units—were wiped out like wheat under a thresher. Entire formations were just... gone. Obliterated.

In the blink of an eye, nearly a third of their forces had been erased from existence.

"Holy... shit..."

Even Ethan, watching from afar, couldn’t help but suck in a sharp breath. His pupils shrank, and a cold sweat broke out across his back. Every hair on his body stood on end.

Forget the Tier 11 and up Royal, Legendary, or Mythic Units for a second.

Just the low-tier troops Crimsonstar had brought to this battle? There had to be hundreds of thousands of them.

And now?

With just one spell—one single, devastating, large-scale AOE nuke—Elyra had wiped out nearly a third of them.

That’s six figures. Six. Freaking. Figures.

All gone in a flash.

That was insane.

Ethan stood there, stunned, a few beads of sweat rolling down his forehead. His heart was pounding like a war drum, blood roaring in his ears. He was completely blown away—and at the same time, absolutely fired up.

Sure, those low-tier troops might not have been the strongest or most valuable units on the field, but still—this spell? This spell was a goddamn spectacle.

A full-blown, apocalyptic light show.

And that—right there—is exactly what makes mage-type heroes so damn terrifying.
