Myriad Devils-Chapter 255: Manipulation
Anon didn’t sense even the slightest discomfort from the paradisical gaze that attempted to pierce into the depths of his soul.
His abstract soul was not as insignificant as an unfathomable soul; hence, there was a thin layer of obscurity protecting him.
Most importantly, he didn’t find it difficult to maneuver within the bounds of this layer of obscurity.
"Once you give me your hand, it will be a revelation to me. Once I am enlightened, I can also reveal to you what you desire to come to know." Anon said.
He inwardly chuckled upon saying this.
Even the paradisical gazes that peered into this Cosmic Vessel revealed chilly auras that washed over his soul.
’Oh, are the Overlords angered?’ He thought, his face expressionless, whilst his body unconsciously trembled.
In more than one instance, he sought to take advantage of an Overlord.
This was not a problem if he himself was an Overlord; however, this was akin to a creature in lesser existence looking toward Heaven and disrespecting it.
These Overlords were Heaven to an abstract soul, and so, they weren’t very pleased by the words and intentions of this abstract soul.
On the other hand, the Ghost Autarch’s strange voice resounded throughout the world within the Cosmic Vessel, "But I do not wish to be touched."
Anon frowned.
Knitting his brows, he said with a plain voice, "I do not wish to be looked at; however, you have stared at me for fifty years."
"I am an Overlord, so your wishes aren’t significant." Tenebris did not need to take a step back.
Anon chuckled, saying in a questioning tone, "It is you who seeks an answer, is it not?"
"And you cannot see the truth in the depths of my soul, because my surface thoughts are brimming with my desire for you, isn’t it?" He added.
"And you cannot dissect me and analyze me deeply, because you do not desire to touch. But even if you did, what can you do to the son of the Human Lord?"
Anon smiled whilst subtly threatening an Overlord, "Or do you desire to experience what the Wandering is experiencing?"
The paradisical gazes were seething with wrath!
Even some of the Human Emperors who gazed in this direction felt a particular strangeness in their heart.
Anon inwardly shook his head whilst thinking to himself, ’I get that we’re all eternal; however, you Overlords have too much free time.’
Unlike them, he was still in a period of otherworldly consolidation. 𝗳𝚛𝗲𝕖𝕨𝕖𝗯𝚗𝚘𝕧𝕖𝗹.𝗰𝗼𝕞
His growth rate was fast, and he still found the passage of time slow.
However, these Overlords did not have an opinion on the passage of time, because this concept was utterly insignificant.
His voice echoed throughout the world within the Cosmic Vessel, causing Tenebris to bite down on its lips in frustration.
It was an act that was unbecoming of an Overlord, but it only stirred Anon’s ungodly nature.
His body trembled once more, but this time, it was not due to the angered gazes of the Overlords.
This was the first time that a creature had simultaneously stimulated his ungodly nature and divine nature.
Despite that, it was actually Tenebris that was much more stimulated.
It had existed since the dawn of time, but this was the first time that it even fathomed the idea of going against its inherent nature.
It was only fifty years, but Anon made it conceptualize such an idea!
In these fifty years, it sought to interact with Humanity’s Young Lord, but the creature had ignored its questions for the greater part of this time.
However, it only took a few sentences to place many cosmic cycles of existence on the brink of being rewritten.
Suddenly...
The world within the cosmic vessel was radiant and filled with many stars, but the light of these stars instantly dispersed, erased.
Darkness swallowed the entire world.
"Scram!"
Anon’s voice resounded across the entire region of three light-years outside the Cosmic Vessel.
The Stellar Threading Pathway spread out throughout the entire Human Domain; however, separating minor regions, major regions, and prime regions was a special dimension known as the Realm of Turbulent Airflow.
Crossing the Realm of Turbulent Airflow was vital to arrive in another region, but it involved exiting the Stellar Threading Pathway and entering cosmic space.
Within the Realm of Turbulent Airflow, there existed a group known as the Terror Pirates, and they primarily targeted Cosmic Vessels with the star emblem.
The cosmic vessel had already locked onto the coordinates of the Eternal Antiquity Prime Region, and it did not go out of its way to evade array-type cosmic treasures suitable for trapping machine-type treasures.
However, Anon was busy, so he only grunted lightly and destroyed the array-type cosmic treasure, causing the darkness to disappear.
The leader of the Terror Pirates was indeed on the level of the Dimension Lord; however, how large was the Turbulent Airflow?
This group of Terror Pirates was an insignificant set of Realm Fathers...
Luckily, this group of otherworldly warlords grasped the memo, and the Cosmic Vessel’s movements quickly returned to the speed of light.
"So, what will it be?" Anon asked, his outstretched hand resting in the space between him and Tenebris, invitingly.
The all too familiar silence was drowning, and it washed over the entire space within the cosmic vessel.
Comforted only by this silence, the Ghost Autarch’s hollowed-out eyes stared intently at Humanity’s Young Lord.
For the first time in fifty years, it retracted its gaze from Anon and looked toward the origin of many paradisical gazes.
"Null..."
The paradisical gazes constantly weighing down on Anon’s shoulders suddenly dissipated, as if they did not exist whatsoever.
His inner cosmos thumped like a heart, erratically; the entire miniature universe trembled, scaring all beings within.
He did not expect this...
So these damnable paradisical gazes could actually be resisted so easily?
It made sense in theory, because abstract souls could easily be resisted if he so wished, and the Ghost Autarch was a paradisical soul just like the other paradisical gazes; however, previously, Tenebris did not seem to care about their gazes.
Was the Ghost Autarch showing care for him?
Or was it ashamed by its future actions?
Both revealed a great many things, pleasurable things.
But when Tenebris stretched its hand toward him, the latter suddenly pulled his own hand away.
The Ghost Autarch was instantly perplexed.
Instead, he sighed with emotions visible in the depths of his eyes.
However, instead of explaining himself, he closed his eyes and meditated instead.
