Chapter 244: Blades & Wings

Basic Supreme Armament, Heavenly Supreme Armament, and Chaos Supreme Armament.

Realm Fathers who deciphered the mysteries behind a Basic Supreme Armament’s final form could display the strength of an Entry-Level Dimension Lord.

It is said that the Heavenly Supreme Armament’s final form could display strength at the cosmic limit, effectively making such a Dimension Lord one of the so-called ’strongest existence’ across the cosmic space.

Not much was known about the Chaos Supreme Armaments.

Rumor had it that the Chaos Supreme Armament could not be forged by the lifeforms of the cosmic space.

Some said that Chaos Supreme Armaments did not even originate from the cosmic space, to which others argued that the cosmic space was the entire world.

Some say the Chaos Supreme Armament only had one form, the first form was the last...

"The mysteries contained within the Supreme force in the Supreme Realm are too much for my cultivation base to bear." Anon mused aloud, sifting through the many Basic Supreme Armaments available.

Whilst the willpower of others bore the brunt of the Supreme force, and the willpower was inherently difficult to shatter... Anon’s willpower and cultivation realm are intertwined. What his willpower bore, his cultivation did as well.

It could not bear the pressure of the Supreme force.

"However, I can deepen my understanding of the Bladed pathway through this Supreme Armament and then return to the Supreme Realm."

"This is the fastest way I can go about bearing the Supreme force and nurturing a Third Level willpower, and then, my cultivation will enter the ranks of Realm Father." He concluded.

The only other choice he had, which was also something that was the norm, was to enter the Supreme Realm for short instances at regular intervals, slowly deciphering the mysteries contained on the Bladed pathway and improving his willpower.

This was akin to being intimidated by a massive chunk of cake and having no choice but to take a small bite every day to eventually finish it.

On the other hand, Anon sought to decipher the forms of the Basic Supreme Armament before returning to the Supreme Realm.

One must understand, this was practically following the opposite path from what was the norm, and was impossible and improbable.

Individuals would need to deepen their Bladed insights first, and only then could they unlock more forms of a Bladed Supreme Armament.

However...

’With my God’s Eye, which can decipher the nature of all things, and with the assistance of my Principle of Destiny, analyzing and deciphering is my forte.’ He thought with emotional depth flashing in his eyes.

Some held certain advantages but failed to properly use them.

This was the greatest sin.

Smilingly, he inwardly mused to himself, ’Utilizing my forte to grasp greater strength is the only right way for me.’

Soon after, he found a desirable pair of blades.

"Dream spirit," he voiced, shifting his gaze away from the dream window. The dream spirit practically stood at attention, awaiting him to address her.

"Region Dominating Blades..." He slowly repeated its words, and repeated the contents of these blades in his mind, ’These blades were made with the blood of a Cosmic Honored flaming dragon, a creature comparable to a Human general/Dimension Lord. Naturally, it is especially suited for a Bladed warrior with the Principle of Fire.’

Anon suddenly thought of something and frowned, "How long would it take for it to be delivered to planet Eldara?"

He didn’t plan to stay on planet Eldara for long.

If it would take too long to...

"The Young Lord is worrying too much," the dream spirit giggled, "The Domain of Dreams is an alternate dimension, so items can be brought out of here and into the cosmic space."

Anon’s lips curled upward. When he did not utilize the principles of Destiny, he had developed a bad habit of overlooking things.

This was not like an abstract soul.

He then asked, "How long would it take to reach my Nine Rivers Esoteric World?"

The dream spirit obediently replied, "The Domain of Dreams has the Star Radiant Palace connecting each celestial island to Dreamland, where the Humanitarian Headquarters reside. This was why we were able to arrive in this world in almost an instant."

"That’s only because my world is relatively close to that celestial island," Anon uttered before darkening his voice, "I asked, how long will it take?"

The dream spirit was instantly scared to the point of trembling. It began deducing on its fingers, muttering to itself, "From the Dreamland to here, ah... six months."

Anon knitted his brows, and his three eyes burst forth with crimson light.

Manifestations that made the eyes burn etched themselves across the space within the palace, causing the entire Nine Rivers Esoteric World to quake in fear.

"M-Master, there’s the Temporal Palace! There’s the Temporal Palace for what is practically instantaneous delivery. If you’re willing to spend Dark Gold to quicken the transportation of goods, it would only take a few hours..."

"Master?" Anon suddenly burst out in a peal of laughter that caused the palace’s walls to violently shake.

Angered?

No, he wasn’t angered at all.

Why would he be?

Especially if he remained on planet Eldara for an extended period of time in safety and comfort, he would be very pleased.

"However, even if the Domain of Dreams can read the surface thoughts of abstract souls like mine, this is simply a warning to never touch my soul again." Anon darkly ordered.

The dream spirit quickly came to a realization, but once she saw the crimson light in his eyes, she meekly nodded her head, shrinking back in fear.

"Switch to Divine Battle Arts," he casually commented.

The dream spirit hesitated for a moment before asking, whilst averting her dreamy gaze, "But Young Lord, it isn’t recommended to attempt mastering a Divine Battle Art and Supreme Armament simultaneously."

Silence fell, and he closed his eyes, clenching his jaw.

"I’m sorry, Divine Battle Arts coming right up," the dream spirit quickly stated, churning the mysteries of the dream domain toward the dream window.

’This little thing is too cute.’ Anon inwardly smiled.

Whilst the dream spirit had remained in its original size, Anon’s face alone was akin to the size of a planet in front of her.

Though she was close to his eye, she appeared no more than a spec of dust under the radiance of sunlight to Anon.

Naturally, there was no hardship for him in deciphering even the most minute energies structuring her body.

Once again, he began a process of sifting through thousands and tens of thousands of Divine Battle Arts.

He wielded blades, so there was no need for a battle art that utilized the limbs, nor did he need a battle art that utilized weapons when there were Supreme Armaments.

However, some individuals still preferred to utilize Divine Battle Arts alongside a cosmic treasure.

For example, they would mold a blade out of the bones of some dragon, call it a cosmic treasure, and utilize a Divine Battle Art with it.

They considered this path to be true to the Supreme pathway, in this case, the Bladed pathway.

Anon did not care for all this loyalty to the Bladed pathway.

He would decipher the Supreme Armament and wield its power whilst simultaneously unearthing the mysteries of the Bladed pathway to ascend further up the Supreme mountain.

Meanwhile, he would master a Divine Battle Art to grasp hold of another form of power, and this power would naturally be for his Wings of Light.

"Wings of Cosmic Tearing..." Anon’s gaze fell on the dream spirit.

She looked up at that gaze and felt an endless suppressive force crushing down onto her almost insignificant frame.

Scared silly, she rapidly nodded her head like a bobblehead doll, bringing a smile to his face.

Teasing this dream spirit on a whim was actually rather pleasant.

"Young Lord, I’ve already sent the request to Dreamland. Do you prefer to pay with merit or Dark Gold? And do you wish for me to request the Temporal Palace’s assistance?"

Pinching his chin, Anon pondered for a fraction of a moment before nodding his head, "Isn’t there an auction soon? I’ll save the Dark Gold for then." He said, "Merit points. And place a request for the Temporal Palace’s assistance."

While there was effectively no wasted time, so even if it took six months to acquire the goods, during this time he would be enlightening his principles, it was still best to practice urgency with all things.

"Ok, Rank 1 Divine Battle Art; Wings of Cosmic Tearing... 100,000 Merit Points... Basic Supreme Armament; Regional Dominating Blades... 18 Million merit points..." The dream spirit only uttered this before Anon’s voice thundered through the palace.

"Wow, wow, wow, hold up, is this why there wasn’t a price shown on the dream window?" He knitted his brows and stared intently at the dream spirit.

The dream spirit’s heart was made up of energy rather than blood and flesh; however, it began rapidly thumping in her tiny chest, and particles of the dreamy energy making up her body crystallized into beads of cold sweat that trickled down her face.

Seeing this, Anon closed his eyes and waved his hands, "Don’t bother... scammer, it’s all a scam. I only have thirty million... and here I thought a fifth of the providence acquired from the birth of an Overlord would be worth something."

One must understand, a Basic Supreme Armament was practically equivalent to an Entry-Level Dimension Lord in terms of power. This cost him more than half the merits he acquired from his otherworldly ascension...

The dream spirit could only utter with dismay, "Inflation, Young Lord."

"In cosmic cycles gone by, you could acquire Heavenly Treasures for ten million merit points. Now, merit points are hard to earn and easily disappear."

Anon scowled, "More like, the Human Lord wishes to slave everyone away."

Earn cosmic providence for humanity, for merit points, and buy Supreme Armaments and Divine Battle Arts.

In truth, there was no equivalent exchange.

It was all put in double the effort for half the reward.
