Both Zera and Mia stared at Eli and the bluish-black haired girl.

"Hmmm..." Zera rubbed her temples while Mia looked at Eli's body.

After the girl left, Eli asked, "Where is Adriana?" because she didn't come and pick instead her summon bat suddenly appeared and showed him the way.

"...." Zera's eyes shined and said unhappily, "You cannot call my mother by her name".

"....Then how should I call her?" Eli didn't get offended or anything.

"Who you are going to call?" Suddenly Adriana appeared beside Zera and questioned them.

"M-Mother" Zera was surprised.

"....Nothing much..." Eli thought for a second and then said, "Ms. Adriana".

Adriana frowned but she didn't say anything because she almost guessed what happened.

"Where did you go?" Eli then changed the topic.

"Well, I had some business to take care" Adriana said carefreely.

"I see" Eli nodded his head.

'Why do I feel like I am being treated as air?' Mia thought.

The girl wearing a simple red shirt and pants came out of the tent and looked around,

then silently walked towards Eli and hide behind him.

Adriana's lips twitched and then glared at Eli.

Eli glanced behind him and sighed.

"sigh, give me some time" He said as he started to prepare some food for the girl.

The bluish-black haired girl hurriedly ate the food.

While Eli stared at Adriana, Noticing his stare, "What?".

"You look...kind of tired?" Eli tried to guess something.

Adriana glanced at him and said, "Nothing just a small work" but inwardly, 'She almost killed me because of you....and what the fuck she said 'You should be My darling's bodyguard'..... '.

Eli nodded.

"...Who is she?" Adriana finally asked.

"Well, Her name is Scylla"

"Then?"

Adriana then turned to look at Scylla who was eating the food with teary eyes,

"sigh, let's wait for her to finish....in the meantime, why don't you go and change your clothes?" Adriana indifferently.

"...Well" as he tried to move but suddenly Scylla caught his hand, she looked at him with teary blue eyes.

"....Tell me what happened from the very beginning? and not some half-assed answers" Adriana glared at Eli.

After hiding behind the bushes, Scylla peeked at him.

Eli ripped his robe and throw a piece for her and waited for her to come.

"Hmmm..." After getting dressed or more like covering her private parts, then she walked towards Eli who was looking at the river.

"Lost your energy soon..ah" Eli teased her to lighten up the mood.

"ahhahh" Scylla awkwardly smiled.

"My name is Eli, Who are you and what happened?"

"My name is Scylla"

"Then?"

"Then...I was kidnapped and sold as a slave" Scylla hesitated a little.

"I see" Eli nodded then he turned to look at her dull blue eyes.

The silence was maintained between them after that,

"Wait for a few more minutes, I will give you some food" Eli smiled warmly.

"...." Tears formed in her eyes as she caught his hand and didn't say anything.

"...." Eli looked at her few seconds and let her do what she wants.

After that Adriana's bat appeared and lead them to the Campfire, Scylla didn't speak a single thing during the walk and Eli didn't disturb her but Scylla tightly held his hand.

"I understand" Adriana nodded her head.

While Zera and Mia's eyes twitched as they thought, 'What's with the partiality? We didn't hear that much...'.

"Okay, then what?" Adriana questioned him.

"I will give her some mon..."

"NO!" Scylla suddenly shouted.

Eli then looked at her teary eyes, "....don't you want to go to your family?".

"I..I don't have a family" Scylla's dull eyes shook a little.

"Is that so.." Eli didn't get into the details because he clearly sees that she must have a rough life but, 'Why is she trusting me so much?'.

"I-I work for you" Scylla said with a glimmer of hope.

"I don't think I can prov..."

"I-It's fine, just one meal per day, I can sleep on the floor and I will wash your dress and clean the room" Scylla didn't let him finish.

"...." Eli just stared at her.

'Why is she so adamant about being with him?' Adriana frowned while Zera didn't think much and Mia just looked at Scylla's hand which was holding Eli.

After pondering enough, Eli said, "Okay"
