The entire filming site became silent.

The scene of Shen Weiwei forcing Ji Qingqing to drink porridge was filmed while the camera was zooming out. The on-site camera, being only two meters away from them, captured all their movements clearly.

The two photographers were both professionals. Having done live filming for many years, they filmed all kinds of big-name celebrities and had seen all sorts of little tricks during their profession. It could be said that they were experienced and knowledgeable.

The incident in which Shen Weiwei broke the bowl was recorded clearly by their camera. When Ji Qingqing struggled, her hand didn’t even touch Shen Weiwei. It was obvious that Shen Weiwei threw the bowl herself.

On one side, Qi Jingyun and Jiang Su who were using their break time to rehearse their scripts evidently noticed the commotion too. However, the two of them had been in the entertainment industry for a long time, and were well-aware of the politics in the industry, and had experienced a fair share of it themselves in the past. These simple tricks were merely amusements to them.

“What do you think?”

Jiang Su smiled. “Don’t get involved in the two girls’ affair and focus on rehearsing the script with me if you don’t want to get yelled at by Director Zhou.”

Qi Jingyun rolled her eyes at him. “I was also once the candidate for the Best Female Lead Award, ok?” She went back to rehearsing the script obediently right after speaking.

“What is it again?” Director Zhou arrived before the two of them angrily. He pointed to the fragments of the bowl on the floor and said, “What did this bowl do to you guys that you guys just can’t get over it in this scene?”

Shen Weiwei lowered her head and remained silent, criticizing herself for her impulsive actions that caused her to fall into Ji Qingqing’s trap.

However, she didn’t care about what others at the filming site thought, not even Director Zhou. Who she really cared about was Lu Liting.

Shen Weiwei’s gaze traveled to the far away Lu Liting, who was outside the filming area.

As long as Lu Liting saw and believed that she had been framed by Ji Qingqing, thinking that she had been bullied in the filming site all along, that was all that mattered.

“Director, I’m sorry. It was a slip of the hand.”

“A slip of the hand?” Pointing to Ji Qingqing, he continued, “Earlier I was afraid that you two will get stuck on this porridge scene again so I took extra care and watched closely. I saw clearly that Ji Qingqing didn’t even touch you at all, so why did you just throw the bowl? What now? Was it because the bowl was too heavy or the porridge too hot?”

“No Director Zhou, earlier I was…”

“Not holding it well?” Even someone with a good temper would get irritated. Not to mention that Director Zhou had a bad temper. “Shen Weiwei, this is your last scene. Why can’t you wrap up on a good note? You really had to play this trick on me?”

“No, Director, I…”

“If not for Ji Qingqing, how would Weiwei miss it over and over again?” A voice with repressed anger suddenly appeared from behind Director Zhou.

Ji Qingqing raised her eyebrows and looked towards the grim-looking Lu Liting behind Director Zhou.

“What did you say?” Director Zhou asked.

Ji Qingqing chuckled. “Director Zhou, he said Shen Weiwei dropped the bowl because of me. Am I right?”

“Why else?” Lu Liting counter-asked her with a cold laugh.

“But she just threw the bowl herself. How can you blame this on me?”

“What you have done, you clearly know all about it yourself!”

“Liting, don’t be like that. It was my fault. It has nothing to do with Qingqing. My hand happened to slip…” As she finished speaking, Shen Weiwei looked at him with a forced smile, her eyes full of pleading as she signaled him not to get involved. “I only have this last scene left. Let me finish it peacefully, okay?”

Lu Liting’s fists tightened.

He knew that Weiwei was only a minor actress and might be neglected by the filming crew, or even be bullied. The previous incident in which she fell from the hill had confirmed his guesses. Even so, Weiwei’s dream and goal were to act. No matter how much he liked Weiwei, he can’t take away Weiwei’s right to pursue her dream.

What he didn’t think of was that Ji Qingqing dared to play tricks on Weiwei right under his nose!

Lu Liting looked at Ji Qingqing. It seemed as if sparks were about to fly out of his eyes.
