My Wife is a Hidden Big Shot-Chapter 207 - 201: Young Master Whitlock, Do You Really Want Me to Die?
Aurora Sinclair reached out, her finger touching Leigh Miles’s Energy Sea Acupoint.
Leigh Miles dared not move, watching her with wide, blinking eyes.
Upon seeing this, Marshall Shaw was instantly filled with awe. This was a method used by High Rank Martial Cultivators to track Power.
After about ten minutes, Aurora Sinclair finally withdrew her hand. She looked at Leigh with a puzzled expression. "He didn’t infuse any Power into your body."
"Nope, he didn’t!"
Aurora Sinclair nodded and walked straight over to Sharon Quincy.
The moment the Martial Healer saw Aurora Sinclair approach and reach for the needles, he grabbed her hand in alarm. "What do you think you’re doing?" he demanded warily.
"She’s going to force the Power out of her," Leigh Miles replied helplessly.
"This is no place for games—" The Martial Healer’s brow knitted in a deep frown. He shot Leigh Miles a stern glare and stood his ground by the bed, refusing to budge an inch.
Marshall Shaw caught Alvin Morgan looking at him, then glanced over at Aurora Sinclair. He felt as if his heart had been squeezed in a vise for so long that it had simply gone numb.
"Martial Healer Warren, let her try!"
"Captain, this is the Young Master of the Quincy Family! If something goes wrong, who’s going to be responsible?" Martial Healer Warren’s face fell, and he was so furious he looked ready to jab a finger in Marshall Shaw’s face and curse him out.
"I’ll take responsibility—now get out of the way!" Marshall Shaw said, his face deliberately stern and his voice grave.
Inside, however, he was anything but calm. His heart was pounding, completely on edge.
"You... this is madness!" Martial Healer Warren’s face was livid. He adamantly refused to budge until Marshall Shaw forcibly dragged him aside.
"You have a death wish, Marshall Shaw, but don’t you drag me down with you!" he snarled, pulling out his phone to start recording.
"Rest assured, I alone will take responsibility for this!" Marshall Shaw retorted firmly.
Aurora Sinclair walked over to Sharon Quincy and deftly removed the silver needles from several of her major acupoints, leaving only the one in the Energy Sea Acupoint.
To preserve her modesty, small, round holes had been cut into her clothing. As the silver needles were removed, Sharon Quincy’s swollen body suddenly deflated, as if she had lost some invisible support.
Blood began to trickle from her eyes, ears, and nostrils. The sight terrified Martial Healer Warren, who leaped to his feet again and yelled at his phone’s camera, "This has nothing to do with me! They’re the ones who killed the Young Master of the Quincy Family!"
Leigh Miles couldn’t take it anymore and snapped, "Shut up—"
Marshall Shaw immediately had him removed from the room.
By the bedside, Aurora Sinclair swiftly pressed several of Sharon’s major acupoints. Then, with one hand on another point, she struck Sharon’s abdomen with a quick slap. The silver needle in the Energy Sea Acupoint was suddenly expelled by a burst of energy, shooting out of the body and embedding itself in the ceiling like a deadly dart.
Marshall Shaw was completely dumbfounded.
Aurora Sinclair stepped away from the bedside, and Leigh Miles immediately took her place.
Leigh traced a finger along Sharon’s two main meridians, inserting a needle every so often.
She didn’t stop until she had placed thirteen needles.
Then, she pulled out the same small bottle of pills from before, tipped one out, and placed it in Sharon Quincy’s mouth. After slightly tilting Sharon’s head up and pressing another acupoint, she watched as the patient swallowed the pill on her own.
"All done. She’ll wake up in half an hour."
Outside, Martial Healer Warren, furious that his phone had been confiscated, stormed off to find Kevin Whitlock and report what had happened.

In less than half an hour, Sharon Quincy’s eyelids fluttered and her fingers twitched.
Sharon Quincy ached all over. The parts of her meridians that had been damaged by the Power throbbed with a sharp, pricking pain.
"Don’t move. You still have needles in you," Leigh Miles reminded her.
Sharon Quincy turned toward the voice, and upon seeing Aurora Sinclair, she asked with sudden urgency, "Are you all right?"
Aurora Sinclair shook her head and replied calmly, "Your man is dead."
"Wh-what do you mean?" Sharon Quincy’s gaze flickered as she forced herself to remain calm.
"He was killed in the surveillance room."
Sharon Quincy’s eyes shot wide open, her pupils constricting. The hands at her sides clenched into tight fists. "What did you say?"
The Power emanating from her body surged violently. The silver needles still embedded in her skin shot out in all directions like shrapnel.
"Hey, you can’t use your Power!" Leigh Miles cried out in alarm.
But by now, Sharon Quincy’s face was as dark as a gathering storm, and her voice was bone-chillingly cold.
"Who... killed him?"
’This isn’t the strength of a Ninth-Rank Great Martial Master,’ Marshall Shaw thought. ’This is clearly a Martial Arts Master.’
Aurora Sinclair quickly struck one of her pressure points. Instantly, Sharon’s body went limp like a deflating balloon, and the Power surrounding her vanished without a trace.
Marshall Shaw was again filled with solemn respect. He’d almost forgotten there was a true powerhouse in the room!
"You shouldn’t be using your power right now."
Sharon Quincy suddenly roared, "Just who was it that killed him?"
The rims of her eyes turned red, and she looked like a wounded beast letting out a helpless roar.
He was the personal guard who had grown up alongside her.
Aurora Sinclair pressed a few more of her pressure points and said calmly, "The masked man who injured you."
Tears finally slid from the corners of Sharon Quincy’s eyes.
’I should have known,’ she thought. ’From the moment that masked man attacked so ruthlessly, my guard must have already been dead.’
Her original plan was to have her personal guard, Douglas Quincy, wear a silver mask and black clothes to ambush them and test Aurora Sinclair’s true strength. She would then "save" them by pretending to stop him with a thrown dart.
However, because Darius Lynch had shown up, she had to text him to put the plan on hold.
But along the way, they were scattered by another team’s pursuit. Seeing this as an opportunity, she secretly sent Douglas Quincy the signal to proceed with the plan.
When she feigned throwing her dart as planned, he had struck her from a distance with a powerful wave of Power, gravely injuring her.
Douglas Quincy’s strength was at the Third-Rank Martial Arts Master level, on par with her own. He shouldn’t have been able to project such potent Power from a distance. That meant the masked man, dressed identically to Douglas, wasn’t her guard at all.
"Where’s the killer?"
"He got away."
Hearing this, Sharon Quincy struggled to sit up again, only to be gently pushed back down by Aurora Sinclair.
"You’re no match for him."
"Anyone who touches one of the Quincys dies—" Sharon Quincy roared, her voice strained with fury.
Everyone in the room felt a chill run down their spine. The Young Master of the Quincy Family was truly enraged!
Just then, Alvin Morgan let out a soft chuckle. "This plan of yours to test Aurora Sinclair... who else knew about it?"
Sharon Quincy glared at him, but Alvin Morgan simply said, "You have a mole in the Quincy Family."
Sharon Quincy pressed her lips together, watching him. She reached for her phone and dialed a number, but there was no answer.
A terrible thought began to form in her mind.

Meanwhile, Kevin Whitlock had heard from Martial Healer Warren that Marshall Shaw had brought Aurora Sinclair and Alvin Morgan to the infirmary. With a grim expression, he immediately led a group of his own men over.
Inwardly, however, a flicker of delight sparked within him. ’As long as Young Lord Quincy dies,’ he thought, ’Aurora Sinclair will be branded a murderer for good.’
’This time, not even the powerful Morgan Family will be able to protect her.’ 𝕗𝚛𝚎𝚎𝐰𝗲𝗯𝗻𝚘𝚟𝚎𝗹.𝕔𝐨𝕞
’And the relationship between the Morgan Family and Sunstone will be destroyed.’ At the thought, the corners of his mouth curled into a smirk.
He slammed the door open and bellowed, "Aurora Sinclair! The evidence of you murdering the Young Master of the Quincy Family is irrefutable! Seize her—"
"Stop!" Marshall Shaw’s brow furrowed as he barked the command, his expression grave.
"Marshall Shaw, you’re harboring a suspect. That’s dereliction of duty. I have every right to relieve you of your command—"
But his threat was cut short.
"Young Master Whitlock, are you that eager for me to die?"
The unexpected voice made Kevin Whitlock swallow the rest of his words.
"Young Lord Quincy?" Martial Healer Warren, trailing behind him, cried out, his face a mask of disbelief as if he’d just seen a ghost.
’She’s not dead?’
’Could that young woman have actually healed her?’
Sharon Quincy sat weakly on the edge of the bed, glaring at them with a grim expression. "My apologies. I’m just too tough to die so easily."
A wave of panic washed over Kevin Whitlock, but he forced a calm expression. "It’s good to see you’re all right, Young Lord Quincy."
Marshall Shaw seized the moment to publicly recount Sharon Quincy’s statement. He finished by glancing pointedly at Kevin Whitlock. "This should significantly reduce the suspicion on Aurora Sinclair..."
"Hold on," Kevin interjected. "Just because another person was involved doesn’t completely clear Aurora Sinclair. She is still the prime suspect."
Marshall Shaw’s expression darkened. "The timeline shows she had no opportunity to commit the crime!"
"And how do you know she isn’t lying?" Kevin Whitlock, now dead set on framing Aurora Sinclair, was aggressive and overbearing.
The tension in the room was thick enough to cut with a knife as the two sides refused to back down. The investigators standing by exchanged uneasy glances, wisely keeping their heads down.
Suddenly, a soft chuckle made Kevin Whitlock jump. He turned in alarm. "Alvin Morgan, you cannot interfere in this case!"
Alvin Morgan gave him an indifferent glance before lifting Aurora Sinclair’s sleeve to reveal the custom watch on her wrist.
"As for whether or not she’s lying, the proof is right here!"
