My Wife is a Hidden Big Shot-Chapter 194 - 188: Remember to Pay the Commission, 20% Off for Acquaintances
Jean Quincy was a bit bewildered. The Quincy family’s Young Master had a very boyish personality and didn’t seem interested in men. Why would she suddenly want to go see Darius Lynch?
’Is it because of Aurora?’
Before, when the Family Head had invited their family to the old estate, her brother had told her in advance not to reveal too much about Aurora.
Jean Quincy replied warily, "Young Master, I don’t have any more tickets."
But Sharon Quincy just smiled and pulled five or six tickets from her pocket. "I do. If you don’t have enough, I’ll give you all of mine..."
Jean Quincy swallowed, her throat tight, and shook her head repeatedly.
’I can’t be tempted!’
"I can’t use this many anyway, so they’re all yours. Call me when the time comes..." Sharon Quincy forcibly stuffed the tickets into Jean Quincy’s hand. Before leaving, she even caressed her face, laughing like a female rogue as she walked away.
Jean Quincy’s face turned beet red. ’This Young Master doesn’t actually like girls, does she?’
Meanwhile, Aurora Sinclair got right out of bed and left the break room, but there was no one in the outer office.
She glanced at the laptop on the desk, which hadn’t been closed, and suddenly walked over.
The screen was on its screensaver. She moved the mouse, and an input box appeared.
Aurora Sinclair thought for a moment, then entered a password from memory. The computer unlocked.
A hint of delight appeared in her eyes. The page that opened was a very minimalist desktop, and the background image was surprisingly a photo of her back, taken at the beach.
Aurora Sinclair pursed her lips, a shy look in her eyes. She gripped the mouse and began to browse the web and the history, clicking on several links one by one to look at them.
Suddenly, a dialog box popped up on his computer. It contained a voice message, and the sender was Gold.
A flicker of astonishment crossed Aurora Sinclair’s eyes. She clicked on the volume icon and heard a gruff voice from within: "Black, I’ve sent the files on the Chameleon from the Western Continent to your email. Remember to pay the commission. 20% off for a regular..."
She quickly closed the page, deleted all traces of her activity on the computer, and then restored it to its original state.
’Black, the top hacker in the International Mercenary Alliance!’

The sound of familiar footsteps was already approaching from outside. Aurora Sinclair immediately ran back to the break room, took off her shoes, got into bed, and closed her eyes.
The sound of a key turning in the doorknob came, and her heart began to pound fiercely.
She immediately began to recite the Heart Calming Scripture in her mind. Gradually, her breathing started to even out.
The break room door was gently pushed open. His footsteps slowly approached and stopped beside her. It seemed like he was watching her, then he bent down and tucked her in again.
’It sounds like he’s smiling. Did I give myself away?’
Aurora Sinclair’s breathing became a little unsteady.
Suddenly, Alvin Morgan’s voice sounded in the room. "If you’re awake, get up."
Aurora Sinclair’s eyes snapped open, meeting a pair of smiling eyes.
"Hungry?"
"Mhm..."
"Come out and eat."
Aurora Sinclair sat up and glanced at her overturned shoes, a flash of annoyance in her eyes.
When she came out, Alvin Morgan had already closed his laptop and pushed it to the side.
Two bags of takeout containers were on the desk.
Aurora Sinclair glanced at his computer, her eyes flickering slightly.
"Do you want to use the computer?" Alvin Morgan suddenly asked.
Aurora Sinclair reflexively started to shake her head, but then nodded.
"You can use it after we eat."
The two ate their lunch in silence. Aurora Sinclair would steal glances at him from time to time, lost in thought.
Suddenly, Alvin Morgan said, "I threw away the jewelry Joyce Guthrie gave you."
Aurora Sinclair, who was chewing on a chicken leg, looked up at him, confused.
"She wants to marry into the Morgan family. She’ll use you."
Aurora Sinclair froze, swallowed the meat in her mouth, and asked in confusion, "Doesn’t Morgan like her?"
"I don’t..."
Aurora Sinclair nodded, then lowered her head and took another bite of the chicken leg. Suddenly, the chicken tasted especially good today.
Her afternoon class was an elective. Not long after leaving the science building with her backpack, Aurora Sinclair saw Eve Lowell and Joyce Guthrie.
The two seemed to be arguing. Eve Lowell raised her hand and shoved Joyce Guthrie, nearly knocking her to the ground.
A few girls standing nearby immediately rushed to help Joyce Guthrie up, glaring at Eve Lowell.
Aurora Sinclair paused for a moment, then slowly walked in their direction.
Eve Lowell was the first to see her and looked at her with a stern expression.
Joyce Guthrie turned her head, forcing a smile onto her face. "Aurora, are you feeling better?"
Aurora Sinclair nodded.
"That’s good..." 𝐟𝗿𝐞𝚎𝚠𝐞𝚋𝕟𝐨𝚟𝐞𝕝.𝕔𝕠𝚖
"Hypocrite—" Eve Lowell cursed, then turned and walked away. The girls next to her quickly followed.
Joyce Guthrie looked aggrieved. "I’m sorry, Aurora. Eve has always been like this. Please don’t mind her."
Aurora Sinclair gave her a puzzled look, as if to say, ’Why would I mind?’
Joyce Guthrie’s expression stiffened. She asked, "Aurora, what class do you have this afternoon?"
"Antique Appraisal and Appreciation."
"Oh, that’s Mr. Sherman’s class, right? He’s quite accomplished in the field of appraisal..."
Aurora Sinclair nodded again.
Just as the two were about to say goodbye, Benjamin Morgan suddenly ran up. He stood a short distance away and called out to Aurora Sinclair, "Aurora, you dropped your hair clip."
Aurora Sinclair felt the back of her head. One of the crystal hair clips Jean Quincy had given her was missing.
Benjamin Morgan walked over quickly, holding her hair clip in his hand. "You left this behind."
Joyce Guthrie looked at the slightly messy strands of hair at the back of her head. She suddenly recalled Benjamin Morgan mentioning that Aurora would be resting in Alvin Morgan’s office, and the smile faded from her face.
The fingertips of the hand clutching her books turned white.

Aurora Sinclair took the hair clip, fastened it back in place, said thanks, and turned to walk toward the Academy of History building.
Joyce Guthrie pursed her lips, then turned to the girls next to her and said, "Answer ’here’ for me during roll call."
Then she ran after Aurora Sinclair.
The girls looked at each other, completely baffled as to what was so appealing about this campus belle that the great Miss Guthrie of the Guthrie Family would even skip class to follow her.
Aurora Sinclair gave her a puzzled look.
"It’s been a while since I’ve attended Professor Sherman’s class. I figured I’d accompany you and sit in on one," Joyce Guthrie explained with a smile.
The classroom was in room 212 of the Academy of History building. It was a large lecture hall that could seat over 100 students. When they arrived, the room was just over half full.
"Aurora, over here—" Seth Sterling waved as soon as he saw her, but when he noticed Joyce Guthrie, he froze.
By the time he snapped out of it, the two of them were already standing next to Danny Archer. He immediately shoved the guy, who was busy playing a game. "Beau, get up! The beauties have arrived."
Danny Archer looked up, then shot to his feet in surprise to make room.
The seats were connected in a row. Usually, he and Seth Sterling would sit on either side, saving the middle spot for Aurora Sinclair. Seth Sterling scooted over one seat.
Joyce Guthrie smiled, greeted the two boys, and then sat down.
Danny Archer felt like he had reached the peak of his life, sitting next to two stunning beauties.
He smugly scanned the envious gazes from around the classroom and thought, ’Be jealous! I’m just that awesome!’

As the class bell rang, a small, thin old man wearing reading glasses walked in carrying a large leather case.
"I’ve brought a few treasures for everyone today. We’ll appreciate them together..."
He didn’t like to lecture from the textbook. He much preferred to show off the treasures he had collected and then explain their origins to the students.
They happened to be on the topic of authenticating ancient calligraphy and paintings. He took a scroll from his treasure case, and from the extremely careful way he handled it, it was clearly one of his prized possessions.
Professor Sherman held the painting, pushed his reading glasses up the bridge of his nose, and asked with a chuckle, "Which student would like to come up and help me unroll the scroll? This painting is a bit long, so I need a careful female student."
Many people in the room raised their hands, including Joyce Guthrie.
"Aurora, raise your hand, quick! He has tons of treasures. You can see them up close."
Aurora Sinclair blinked and raised her hand as well.
Professor Sherman scanned the room. When he saw that Professor Erin Archer’s star pupil had also raised her hand, he delightedly called on Aurora Sinclair to come up.
Just then, Joyce Guthrie suddenly said, "Professor Sherman, could you let me take another look at your treasures, too?"
He turned his head, pinched his glasses, and took another look. "Eh? Little Guthrie? Did you sign up for my class too?"
"Professor, your class is so popular that I couldn’t even register. I could only come and sit in," Joyce Guthrie replied with a smile.
"Hahaha... Come on up!"
Professor Sherman was beaming. He even joked, "See? Your senior knows what’s good! You all have to come to my class next semester, too..."
The atmosphere in the room instantly became very relaxed.
Aurora Sinclair and Joyce Guthrie went up to the lectern and put on the gloves Professor Sherman had prepared for them. Then, one held the scroll, and the other held the end of the painting, and they slowly walked apart.
A scroll titled *Ten Thousand Miles of Mountains and Rivers* was slowly unrolled.
Professor Sherman muttered, "You two must be slow. This is a borrowed painting..."
Aurora Sinclair stared at the painting, her eyes suddenly widening. In that frozen moment, a RIIIIP sound was heard. Joyce Guthrie, as if yanked hard by someone, stumbled two steps toward Aurora Sinclair...
