My Wife is a Dead Villainess, and I'm Her Living Weapon-Chapter 46: Again
Chapter 46 - Again
Elian tried to run, but wobbled. His oversized shoulders and forearms threw his center of mass all over the place. Despite compressing his torso and adding plates to his legs it was not enough. As he struggled, ice lances began to pelt him by the hundreds.
Yet they felt like raindrops on a windshield. If before the change they could at least push Elian back, now they became inconsequential.
"Heh." A smug chuckle came from Elian as he felt validated.
I am too front heavy. I can't even move properly.
He tried to straighten his body and began adding a backpack that sat behind his shoulder blades. Elian deposited spare onyx spheres into his backpack, shifting his center of mass. When he felt that the additional weight corrected his imbalance he tried to move.
"Better. But still too slow. I need boosters like a jet. Rather than one time use, let's make it something that can last."
Finding his lack of mobility infuriating, Elian modified his shoes to create fans, like turbines on the sides of his feet, beside his shoulders, and behind his backpack. They sucked in air and redirected them into the chamber on his lower back.
WHIIRRRRRLLLLL
The sharp sound of heavy fans spinning at insane speeds began to resound. It grew so powerful gusts began to appear around Elian like a hurricane.
"If I cannot move by running, then I will skate instead."
He fashioned large wheels beside each foot. As they activated, Elian felt his body slowly lift.
"It should hold if I am on the move. Standing on them would not be possible."
Elian looked up and saw the Wolves slowly inching closer. They redirected their projectiles and instead aimed at his eyes. But even there, they were nothing but a hindrance.
The weapon clenched his fists and readied his arms. Elian carefully controlled the exhausts for his boosters and began to detonate the air he stored. At the same time, he lowered his wheels and raced forward.
"Now!"
Boom!
Elian's heavy body catapulted forward. In a single blink, he closed the distance—too fast for their eyes to track.
The three-meter Snow Wolves lunged at him. Elian lowered his head and pointed his horn forward. His acceleration weaponized his bulk—more force than a freight train. Without an inch of mercy Elian trampled on the wolves.
One was brutally skewered and split in half. Five died from the sheer impact of Elian's charge. Blood rained and drenched his body coating him in crimson.
Alright, the horn works. I'll call it, Bayonet. Let's test the others.
Elian continued his mad dash towards a group of Alphas like an unstoppable force of nature.
Before he could do so, the boy heard his allies gossiping as they fought without a care in the world.
"Master, is that..."
"My goodness, that boy is truly unbelievable!"
"Sir Elian turned into a beetle. His new form looks nothing like the one I fought!"
"Yes. And he now looks like an oversized ogre in armor."
"What are you talking about? He looks cool! You need to get your eyes checked!"
"Silence, you ball of fur, focus on your own battle!"
"What battle? This isn't even worth a warmup!"
Grinning from Fluffy's praise, Elian began to let loose. Due to his immense momentum, he reached the Alphas, surprisingly they didn't cower but charged.
AWOOOOO!!!!
Five of them charged at him. Along with what looked like hundreds of Snow Wolves. The ground quaked as the ten-meter wolves raced to attack the lone armored wall. But then he did the unthinkable.
He raised his head, and winded his arm. Shifting his weight, he pushed his left leg forward while drawing his right shoulder back. In the same moment, the turbines in his right air shotgun began to spin.
Within a second it closed and grew silent. In the same moment, Elian boosted his body even further by increasing his speed. Then when he saw the nearest Alpha, he moved to stab the nail on his forearm into his target.
STAB!
The feeling of hard steel brutalizing flesh made Elian's body buckle from the resistance. But he wasn't done. The air shotgun compartments in his right arm fired—one after another.
BANG. BANG.
The Alpha's body spasmed. Its chest ballooned unnaturally, veins bulging as internal pressure rose. Blood spewed from its mouth as it collapsed.
The muscles still held. Just barely.
Then—
BANG.
Everything shattered.

A final crack of ruptured sinew—and the beast tore apart from the inside out.
Nice. Pile Driver. That's what this stake will be called.
Blood, guts, and sinew scattered and splattered. The other Alphas leapt away in horror. But Elian wouldn't let them escape. He collided with the ones in front and dashed to the one at the back.
"ARGHHHH!!! HELP!!!" one of them cried.
He buried his horn and raised his head and forced his body to stop.
With demonic strength, Elian lifted the 10-meter-tall Alpha in the air and braced his body. Two other Alphas raced forward to aid their ally. Hundreds of three-meter Snow Wolves joined them.
But unknowingly they already entered Elian's strike zone.
Time to see what these shoulder launchers can do.
Triggering the honeycomb snakes in his shoulder, his shoulder armor opened up. All fifty mini air shotguns screamed at the same time. Twenty-five on each shoulder. A deafening sonic boom followed. Then came the rain.
Fifty golf ball sized projectiles flew. But as each was created with Living Metal compressed to the absolute limit, they were extremely dense. Like burning arrows through sheets of paper, each tore through everything in its path—even the air itself.
Elian's entire frame creaked. His immense weight kept him from tipping over from the recoil but sent painful shocks into his internal organs.
The two Alphas at the forefront had their bodies reduced to strips of meat. Those behind them? They were even worse. Not even their blood remained. They all disappeared as if they suddenly turned to vapor. The immense assault left nothing in its wake.
The entire battlefield turned silent.
Few could comprehend what had just happened.
And what terrified them was the absolute lack of mana.
Even Bianca and Fluffy froze in terror.
"Holy crap! What was that? I almost went deaf!"
"I had a feeling it would be like this. That boy is truly an artist when it comes to murder."
Unfazed at his tyrannical display, the lumbering giant swiped his head down. The wolf on his horn split in two and drenched him in even more blood.
Beautiful. I need a fitting name for my shoulder launchers... how about Blockbuster? Yeah, that sounds good.
The crimson knight then gazed at those remaining and smiled.
"Reload."
Fifty new onyx balls were crammed into his shoulder weapons. All the turbines around him began to spin once more. Blood began to rise from the ground, caught in the swirling wind.
"Again."
And Elian blasted off like a rocket once more. His target was the last two Alphas. Yet both turned tail and ran away. All while commanding their subordinate to cover their escape.
"W-What the hell is that! We must tell his majesty! Red Fang pack, protect me!"
"Wait for me brother! Gale pack, buy us time with your lives."
Seeing their cowardice, Elian clenched his jaw. He raised his left hand, and his turbines all spun in excitement. In the next second, he pulled the trigger.
BANG!
A flying onyx ball raced forward. But two Snow Wolves used their bodies to stop it.
"Crap!"
Angry that the bullet failed to reach his target, Elian bulldozed his way through the wolf packs without stopping. He began to correct his mistake as he moved.
Smooth bore doesn't work, lacks range. A round ball's aerodynamics also suck, let's add rifling to the barrel. One barrel is not enough, increase them to three.
A quarter of the onyx ammunition in his backpack all simultaneously changed shape. They gained a cone shape that made them fly better. His left air shotgun weapon gained two additional barrels. Then the insides gained grooves.
"Changes complete. Again!"
Bashing the weak snow wolves away with his right, Elian pointed his left arm at the running Alpha. His left weapon's turbines all spun at fierce speeds.
"You won't get away!"
Pulling the trigger, three explosions followed in unison. A trio of cone-shaped projectiles flew. The new rifling made them spin, giving the rounds immense stability. Sharp sonic booms followed as they passed.
Once again, the three-meter monsters threw themselves to protect their leaders. Unfortunately this time, it made no difference.
Body after body tried to stop the onyx rounds, but they were simply erased. Spinning as they went, the rounds eventually caught up to the running Alphas and blasted out the backs of their heads.
Now we're talking. You will go by Sledgehammer.
The once-proud pack leaders fell, skulls blown open, bodies twitching in defeat. And in the silence, only a blood-soaked behemoth remained.
