My Vampire Wives Want My Blood!-Chapter 52- Limit (Part 1)
Chapter 52- Limit (Part 1)
"Hmmm..." Resting his head on his hand, Elio watched the scenery move past him rapidly. He was enjoying the quiet peace and the atmosphere. This was the first time he had left the city in a very long time. Usually, when he does, it’s just to go visit his grandmother.
’I think this is my first time ever going anywhere else, really.’ Elio thought to himself. It was so odd and yet also so exciting. The southern forest was one of the most beautiful places in his country. It is considered one of the biggest forests in the world, with a complex and vast ecosystem.
Most of it is unmapped and undiscovered, with some parts being turned into nature reserves for people to go into to watch the beautiful life within the forest. It was considered the breathing lung of this entire continent.
For the next two hours, the trip passed quietly. Fiona spent the time reading a book while Elio just enjoyed the scenery. They chatted occasionally, but the two of them felt like enjoying this time, as the next two days were going to be brutal, so these few hours were crucial.
As the sun rose into the sky and the morning came, the car reached a dirt road that diverged from the main route into the depths of the forest. Then, for 40 minutes straight, they went deeper and deeper into the forest, being surrounded by incredibly large trees and thick greenery.
Elio could hear the sound of birds whistling and the wind sweeping through the beautiful nature around them. The deeper they went, the less traces of humanity became apparent. Everything felt raw and untouched, completely detached from the world Elio was familiar with.
At some point, the thick greenery finally opened to a vast, open field with short grass that had a long dirt road leading into it. It was nestled well between the trees, and before he saw it, Elio didn’t even notice that it was there.
In the heart of this field was a large wooden building. It looked like a moderately big mansion with a beautiful classic design. It had a patio with a nice view of the forest and two floors.
"So this is the cabin?" He asked in a daze. ’I thought it was going to be smaller... This looks more like a mansion than a cabin. I guess for Fiona, this is considered nothing.’
The car came to a stop in front of the cabin, and the two finally got out. Stretching his limbs, Elio went to pick up his luggage, only for Alfred to stop him.
"Please, leave this task to me, sir." The man said respectfully.
"A-Ah, alright..." Turning around, Elio followed Fiona inside to explore the place. The interior was extremely beautiful and surprisingly clean. There wasn’t a speck of dust anywhere Elio looked, as if the place wasn’t abandoned at all.
There was a lounge, a living room, a kitchen, a jacuzzi, two separate bedrooms, and a small gym.
It had everything, with the fridge and cupboards fully stacked with food and supplies for them.
"This is going to be your room. Feel free to change anything about it that you want. It’s yours." Fiona said as she walked Elio into the empty bedroom. It was quite spacious, and the bed was king-sized and comfortable.
Sitting down on the bed, he nodded his head. "Thank you, I understand. But, this room is really nice, I have nothing to change. I’m just going to unpack."
"Mhm, we will have breakfast in a few and then head to the spot where you will start your training," Fiona said as she turned around and left, closing the door behind her.
"Mhm..." Elio hummed as he admired the room for a few moments. ’I don’t hate this place at all. Even the view is insane from here.’
The vast forest sprawled before his eyes, stretching as far as the eye could see. He truly couldn’t comprehend how absurdly large this forest was until he saw it with his own eyes.
’We are completely hidden here. I doubt anyone could find us in such a large area.’ He mused. "Well, time to start unpacking."
With that, Elio pulled all of his clothes out and put them in the closet before he finally went down to have breakfast with Fiona. There, he was instantly welcomed with a shocking sight.
Standing in the kitchen, with an apron wrapped around her body, was none other than Fiona. The sound of sizzling and the smell of delicious food filled the place. The sight was as much as it was incredibly charming. Fiona’s silhouette, elegantly moving around, was something people would kill to see a glimpse of.
"Sit down, it’s almost ready." She said calmly.
"... I wasn’t aware you knew how to cook, Fiona," Elio said with a surprised look.
"Yeah, I learned how to just in case I ever need that. I don’t like to rely on servants to do everything for me."
"... I see..."
’Why is this sight so familiar, though?’ He squinted his eyes. ’Ah, right, Melissa...’
The two images overlapped in his head for a second, and he could only laugh to himself. The fact that he got the chance to see two of the most important people in the world in aprons cooking in front of him in the span of a week was something he could never even imagine.
These were two women sought after by the entire world, and they were incredibly strong and influential. The world was doing things for him that he could not understand.
After that, Fiona served the food, which was shockingly amazing. A variety of dishes that Elio had never tried before.
"Enjoy." She said as she picked up the fork and knife and started eating.
"Wow... This looks amazing."
"Thank you."
’She’s an amazing chef, too? What can’t she do?’ Elio stared at Fiona with an amazed look on his face. Fiona was perhaps the most perfect human in the world. He had never seen her fail at doing anything. Even in school, her scores were always perfect, and she had never scored anything less than 100 in all subjects.
Even though she has far more responsibilities than anyone else, she has never let anything slip out of her control. He truly admired her for that.
With that, the two ate breakfast together, and after they finished, Elio put on the training clothes and finally left the mansion with Fiona.
"Where are we heading now?" He asked.
"Somewhere nearby, you will see." She said as she started walking down a different path. Going deeper into the forest, Elio followed her silently, looking around him.
’Where are we even going? This is odd...’
For several minutes, they cut through massive trees and small paths. Elio didn’t know what to expect anymore as he was almost certain they were heading into a completely hidden area.
However, not long after, he started hearing noise in the distance. The sound of water slamming into the ground in large quantities.
The noise kept growing and growing until they finally emerged into another opening. There, Elio was welcomed with the most gorgeous scenery he had ever seen in his life.
A large, beautiful waterfall descending down from a mountain into a big lake. The water was crystal clear like a mirror.
"Wow..."
"This is where we are going to train," Fiona said as she walked toward the lake. "Now, start undressing."
