My Ultimate OP System: Summoning All Dragons, Gods, Heroes & Villains-Chapter 110: Royal Intervention
Earlier that day...
Within a private room on one of the upper floors of the Lucky Hand Casino, Eula dropped her hand from her ear after ending a call.
She turned toward Greta, who sitting quietly.
"Still no sight of Ethan Stark," Eula said.
Greta’s expression remained neutral. "Did you bring what I asked for?"
Eula nodded and reached into the inner pocket of her coat. She pulled out a folded piece of paper and handed it over.
Greta unfolded the paper. It was a map of the city, detailed and marked with various districts and landmarks.
Eula leaned in and pointed to a specific area on the map. "The Stark family owns a manor here, along with most of the land in this estate."
Greta nodded slowly. She pulled a pen from her pocket and carefully drew a circle around the entire expanse of land that covered the manor and its surrounding property.
Then she raised her palm over the circled area and a magic circle materialized above her hand. At the same time, an identical pink circle appeared over the marked portion of the map, glowing for a few seconds before both faded away.
Greta lowered her hand and looked up at Eula. "If Ethan Stark, the owner of this land, enters the circle, the map will tell us."
Eula’s lips curved into a teasing smile. "This is why you’re the best Greta."
But she didn’t react to the compliment as usual.
Eula took the map from her and folded it back up as she walked toward the elevator. She pulled out her Arcphone and connected to another call.
"Link me at..." she began, but the rest of her words were lost as the elevator doors closed behind her.
She was on her way to hand the map over to the men who were currently assigned to trail Ethan Stark.
What Greta had just performed was a highly specific form of locator spell. It functioned by tying the ownership of property directly to the person being searched for.
The circle drawn around the map served as a detection radius. When the target entered that area, the spell would activate and trace their movement.
However, there was one critical condition: the spell would only ever respond to the person who owned the land. No one else.
——
Around the time of the attack...
The black vintage car had been parked along a stretch of road within the estate, though not too close to the manor itself. And the men inside had positioned the ride along the only route that led directly to the Stark property.
When Isabella’s vehicle entered the estate and crossed into the area covered by Greta’s circle on the map, a thin glowing line began drawing itself.
The line moved steadily from the point of entry, tracing toward their location in real time.
The masked man seated in the driver’s seat picked up his Arcphone immediately and connected a call to Eula.
"The map reacted," he said. "Based on the speed he’s moving at, he’s in a car."
Eula’s voice came through the device. "Definitely with that butler of his. Do the needful."
The driver didn’t end the call. Instead, he turned toward his companion in the passenger seat.
The second man nodded and climbed into the backseat, where he began setting up the handheld rocket launcher they had brought along for this sort of scenario.
When Isabella’s tinted vehicle came into view down the road, the second man stepped out of the car with the launcher already positioned on his shoulder.
He aimed carefully and fired.
The rocket streaked through the air toward the approaching vehicle, and for a split second, it looked like a direct hit. An explosion erupted with a deafening roar that sent smoke and debris scattering across the road.
But when the smoke cleared enough to see through it, something unexpected happened.
An invisible wall that distorted the air around it had been erected directly in front of Isabella’s car. The rocket had detonated on it without doing damage or harm to those inside. 𝘧𝑟𝑒𝑒𝘸𝘦𝘣𝑛𝑜𝘷𝑒𝓁.𝘤𝘰𝓂
The attacker’s eyes widened in shock behind his mask.
Inside the vehicle, Percival slammed back against his seat after Isabella hit the brakes with extreme force.
"What the fuck!" he called out, gripping onto the back of Ethan’s seat to steady himself.
Ethan leaned back as well, with his expression dazed for just a moment before reality caught up with him. "What the..."
But Isabella remained composed.
Her right hand stayed firm on the wheel while her left palm was raised above it, with a glowing magic circle hovering just over her open hand.
Her hair had cascaded forward when she braked hard, framing most of her face in loose strands. But now, she leaned back in her seat, with her eyes narrowed into a frown as she stared directly at the attacker through the windscreen.
The masked man who had fired the rocket began taking several steps backward to their car in visible panic.
Inside the black vehicle, Eula’s voice crackled through the phone that had been left on speaker mode in the front seat.
"Has the target been eliminated?" she asked calmly.
"Uh... boss..." The driver stammered as he picked up the phone while still staring into his rearview mirror in total shock. "That wasn’t the butler."
He watched as Isabella stepped out of her car door while keeping her left hand raised to maintain the space element wall spell she had erected.
The other two doors opened next. Ethan and Percival stepped out onto the road beside her.
The driver’s voice shook as he spoke into the phone again. "It’s... it’s the princess."
On the other end of the call, both Eula and Greta, who rarely showed any emotion at all, had their faces shift into expressions of complete shock.
"We’re leaving now!" The driver yelled as he started the car immediately.
The second man abandoned the rocket launcher on the ground and sprinted back toward the vehicle, diving into the backseat just as the driver began attempting to swerve around and escape.
But right then, Isabella dropped her defensive wall and extended her right hand forward.
Multiple magic circles formed instantly in overlapping patterns before her palm.
"Ars Levavius," she whispered.
An invisible force latched onto the vintage car and lifted it off the ground. The second man, who had barely made it into the backseat, lost his balance and nearly tumbled out through the still-open door.
His arms flailed wildly as he grabbed onto anything he could reach to keep himself inside.
But it didn’t matter. The same invisible force held all of them suspended some feet above the road surface now, rotating slowly in midair.
This was a different spell from Levitas. This space element spell directly applied to objects to control their movement from a distance.
Ethan exchanged a quick glance with Isabella and gave her a small nod of approval before they both began walking toward the floating car and its struggling occupants.
Percival followed close behind them, cracking his knuckles with a furious look on his face.
-
On the other side of the phone call, Eula had heard everything: the growing tension in their voices, and the yelling when their car was forcefully swept off its wheel.
She turned toward Greta with panic on her face. "Shut them down now, Greta."
Greta’s head lifted as pink magic circles appeared over both of her palms simultaneously, while her eyes glowed white.
In that same instant, identical purple magic circles materialized above each of the men’s heads inside the floating car.
Their eyes turned white as well for just a brief second before they slumped forward unconsciously.
The magic circles above their heads faded away into nothing a moment later.
-
When Isabella, Ethan, and Percival reached the vehicle, Percival’s hands had already shifted into their wolf forms as he growled.
"Who are these fuckers?"
Isabella lowered her hand slowly, allowing the car to descend back down onto its four tires with a heavy thud.
But when they looked inside through the windows, all they found were two unconscious men. The driver was slumped over on the wheel, and the other guy had fallen to the ground when Isabella dropped the car.
Ethan stared at them for several seconds with a frown on his face before finally speaking.
"Let’s take these bastards inside," he said. "They have a lot to answer for."
The manor’s gates weren’t far off now.
