My Toxic Ex-Wife: BOSS, Stay Away!-Chapter 769: Extra Story: The Big BOSS’s Little Wife (36)
"What if I don’t?" Ye Anhao sneered. Who she dated was her right. Who was he to interfere?
The man’s eyes narrowed. "If you don’t do as I say, I naturally have ways to keep you away from him."
"Are you planning to use the video to threaten me again?"
"No need. Just a small trick will suffice," the man said indifferently.
"Then I’ll wait and see." Ye Anhao stood firm, unafraid of shadows. As long as he didn’t use the video, she had nothing to fear.
With that, she turned to the driver and said, "Stop the car!"
Not wanting to engage in a pointless argument, she didn’t wish to stay any longer. However, without the man’s instruction, the driver dared not stop on his own.
Ye Anhao noticed the driver wasn’t responding and realized who was in charge here.
She couldn’t bear it and turned to glare at Ouyang Che in the backseat. "Tell him to stop the car right now."
The man glanced at her lightly. "If you beg me, I’ll let you off."
"Keep dreaming!" Ye Anhao clenched her fists, feeling frustrated. This man was truly detestable!
Considering she’d only be stuck in the car a bit longer, Ye Anhao thought the man, being a soldier, even if he disliked her, wouldn’t dare do anything extreme. Since he intended to give her a ride, why not let him?
But Ye Anhao was wrong about one thing. This man never played by the rules. The car did head towards her home, even reaching her neighborhood’s gate, but it didn’t stop and drove right past it.
Seeing this, Ye Anhao quickly spoke up, "I’ve reached home. Stop the car, stop now!"
The man didn’t even look at her, leaning leisurely in his seat with his eyes closed, looking as relaxed as could be.
Ye Anhao stared at Ouyang Che’s chiseled face angrily. "You’re doing this on purpose, aren’t you? Deliberately!!"
The man slowly lifted his gaze, a smug smile on his lips. "Yes, I am. So what? If you really want to get off, you can jump out."
The man’s lazy voice echoed in the car. Though it was the most charming tone in the world, it infuriated Ye Anhao to no end.
"You! You!" Ye Anhao cursed, gritting her teeth. How could such an annoying person exist!
Ye Anhao despised him but was utterly helpless. She couldn’t actually jump out of the moving car, could she?
The car sped on, finally stopping in front of a hotel. Ye Anhao remembered it well; it was where that chaotic night had occurred.
The memories of that night were too unbearable. Ye Anhao had tried hard to forget, only to be constantly reminded.
Panic-stricken, she opened the car door and hurried out. But as soon as her feet touched the ground, she felt a surge of defiance. Ouyang Che had played her; she hated him for it. If she couldn’t have it easy, neither should he.
She darted her eyes around, noticing Ouyang Che lowering the car window. Instantly, a plan formed. She opened her backpack, pulling out an item that Ouyang Che paid no attention to until the next moment he was drenched in red ink.
Having pulled off her prank, Ye Anhao ran off quickly. Just then, a taxi drove by. She hailed it and hopped in, sticking out her tongue at Ouyang Che before shutting the door.
Humph! You thought you were so high and mighty, didn’t you? Drenched in red ink now, how does it feel?
