My Super Sassy Dad: Stop Running Away, Mrs. Quinn!-Chapter 498 - 978: Never Come Back Again
If anything gets hurt, wouldn’t Jared be useless!
Melody Thorne looked at the dark screen ahead, hesitating whether to call Mrs. Quinn along, perhaps she could help resolve the rift between these two.
She waited until one in the morning for Jared Quinn’s return flight,
while Melody Thorne and Leon Rivers remained hidden in the shadows, surrounded by secluded graves and barren hills.
"You’re here," Titus Quinn discarded the mask he had been wearing, holding a gun, beside him was a hospital bed, the person on it was breathing weakly.
The gun in his hand rotated continuously, occasionally aiming at Old Mr. Quinn’s forehead, with no regard for family ties at all, "I have waited a long time."
If it weren’t for his repeated yet failed attempts to overturn the situation, he wouldn’t use Old Mr. Quinn to threaten Jared Quinn.
But all of this is something Jared Quinn needs to repay! He has to repay him.
His most beloved woman, his most respected father, all disappeared, died because of Jared Quinn. He also deserves to die.
Jared Quinn walked in with steady steps, his tall figure far more distinguished compared to Titus Quinn, one being vicious and treacherous, the other noble and aloof.
"They can’t be saved," was what Jared Quinn said years ago, and it’s what he still says now.
Back then, people in the underworld kidnapped their brothers, implicating Dad Quinn and the first girl Titus Quinn brought home, whom he adored the most, hence Titus Quinn’s long-standing hatred.
"Then why don’t you kill yourself?" Titus Quinn’s usually restrained emotions began to collapse, veins popped out on his forehead as he yelled harshly, "If you suicided, they wouldn’t die!".
All they wanted was Jared Quinn’s life because he obstructed their trafficking and profit-making route, seeking revenge all along, capturing them that day to force Jared Quinn to death.
If he had killed himself, Ethan Quinn never would have died! Nor would his beloved woman!
The roar before him elicited nothing but Jared Quinn’s expressionless face, always aloof and unwavering, back then too, watching cold-bloodedly as people died before him.
"If I die, you all will die just the same," Jared Quinn’s thin lips moved up and down, his dark eyes filled with ink, covering every emotion within.
"Ha... haha, sounding so grandiose," Titus Quinn’s hand reached into his suit pocket where a gun was also hidden, flinging it in front of Jared Quinn, "Guess, this time will you die or will I?".
The death-defying expression made Melody Thorne, hiding nearby, start to feel apprehensive. Even though everything seemed under control, she still felt an unease creeping in.
Jared Quinn stepped on the gun, "I’ll give you a chance, either leave with Harold Chapman, or go abroad, never come back!".
The low voice sounded like a sovereign deciding others’ fates.
His composure caused Titus Quinn’s calm to unravel, with the gun pressed against Old Mr. Quinn’s forehead, "I know you don’t care about family ties, do you think I only captured him alone?".
Jared Quinn raised his cold eyes, revealing a sharp gleam.
The overhead light suddenly shone into the dark corner, and Melody Thorne and Leon Rivers simultaneously raised hands to block their eyes.
