My Super Sassy Dad: Stop Running Away, Mrs. Quinn!-Chapter 467: Where Did She Go?
Jared Quinn always maintained an attitude of letting her do as she pleased. He couldn’t be happier that she was so attentive to him every day, even feeding him.
After Jared finished eating, Melody Thorne also ate, and more than half an hour had passed.

A man was chained to the wall, showing signs of having been tortured. Melody Thorne recognized him immediately as the man who had kidnapped her and planted explosives in the tunnel that day, nearly causing her and Jared Quinn’s deaths!
"Wait outside for a moment," Jared Quinn handed her headphones, saying he didn’t want her to witness anything gory.
"Okay," this time Melody listened to Jared and stepped outside, putting on the headphones.
Faint sounds of screams echoed from within...
The man only revealed who had orchestrated the deed with him in the moments before his death.
And who was using Melody Thorne to target Jared Quinn.
As they suspected, it was that person, someone who had been hiding and disguising themselves among them all along.
"Bro, if we show him mercy again, next time it won’t just be you who’s in danger, it could also be your wife," Leon Rivers said deliberately. Over the years, Jared had turned a blind eye to Titus Quinn’s actions.
This leniency now led to his growing audacity.
Jared Quinn’s eyes, cold and luminous, gazed out the window, as if he could still hear the voices from years ago—those old, echoing voices in his ear.
"Protect him, you’re his brother. I don’t care how you do it, what means you use, but you must not harm him. I need your promise, I need to hear you promise. If you break your word, your son will end up just like me!"
That ruthless voice was what led to his current cold-heartedness.
"Bro..." Leon Rivers tried to speak but was stopped by Harold Chapman. They were blood brothers, after all. It wasn’t as simple as wanting someone dead.
But they couldn’t just ignore things as if nothing had happened, like before.
Leon Rivers’ undercover work definitely wasn’t going to cut it anymore, especially since Titus Quinn acted without notifying him this time.
This meant Titus Quinn didn’t consider Leon Rivers to be on his side at all!
"Go find him and tell him I invite him," Jared Quinn regained his composure, his dark eyes calm as the sea yet with storms brewing.
"Okay," Harold Chapman and Leon Rivers sighed in relief. At last, they wouldn’t have to be on such high alert anymore, and could instead confront the issue head-on.
"Where’s Melody?" Jared asked, searching for Melody Thorne the moment he stepped out of the room.
"Sis-in-law might be bored staying here, so she probably took a walk," Leon Rivers responded.
"Where did she go?" Harold Chapman glanced at the soldier nearby.
"She went that way. Just now, she asked if someone named Caleb was locked up here. I told her yes, and she went to find him," the soldier replied.
Harold Chapman, "..."
He might as well have not asked.
Jared Quinn’s dark gaze turned to where the soldier pointed, stepping forward.
"Crap, is something going to happen again?" Leon Rivers felt a sudden fear. Could that woman also be plotting against Jared Quinn?
They might as well team up and go after some dogs.
"Probably not, let’s go over and take a look."
"Okay."
Prison cell.
At the holding area, Melody Thorne saw Caleb and Stella Seymour. Caleb seemed better, with only external injuries, while Stella Seymour had disheveled hair and clothes soiled that even she had to cover her nose to avoid smelling herself!
