My Super Sassy Dad: Stop Running Away, Mrs. Quinn!-Chapter 370: I’m Sorry
Harold Chapman stared strangely at Melody Thorne, then looked at the portrait she painted. Upon clearly seeing the figure in the painting, his pupils contracted, because that person seemed like a secretive existence.
He had a close relationship with the old Mr. Quinn, which is why he knew him, but he didn’t expect Melody Thorne to paint this person.
"Is there such a person?" Melody Thorne feigned innocence, as if she had merely dreamed of him, and asked with confusion.
For a moment, Harold Chapman’s expression was indescribable...
But the matter itself was decided quite hastily, going over there now was completely unexpected, although it was just a dream, it’s best to take precautions.
"I’ll go contact them right away," Harold Chapman turned and left the study.
Melody Thorne threw the portrait she drew into the trash can, now hoping that Jared Quinn can be safe and sound. If anything really happened to him, then the main cause would be because of her.
It would be best for her not to meet Caleb, otherwise, she definitely wouldn’t let him go.
Just as she was lost in thought, Kiki Sutton called.
The call wasn’t in the form of a voice call, but a video call. In the video, Kiki Sutton was lying on the ground, with pained expressions, and red stains resembling blood on her clothes.
"Kiki,"
"Melody," Kiki Sutton painfully lifted her head and spoke with anguished restraint, "Melody, I just encountered a robbery here, they took my bag. I can’t take it anymore; come help me. They just attacked me."
"What’s the address? Where are you? Hold on, I’m on my way," Melody Thorne gripped the phone and rushed downstairs.
"Madam, madam," the housekeeper called twice from behind, but Melody Thorne had already left. The young master is not here, so it’s better to be cautious.
Melody Thorne quickly drove to the place Kiki Sutton mentioned, an abandoned building in a relatively secluded area.
"Kiki, Kiki,"
"Kiki."
"Melody, I’m here, over here," Kiki Sutton waved her hand from the second-floor window.
"Hang on," Melody Thorne saw Kiki Sutton with messy hair lying at the window and hastily prepared to go upstairs, but just after taking two steps, she was surrounded.
"Melody, Melody, run, don’t worry about me," Kiki Sutton shouted frantically from the window, "Melody, run."
Several men surrounded her from all directions, making it impossible for her to leave even if she wanted to.
"What do you want?" Melody Thorne asked, warily scanning her surroundings,
Suddenly, a man behind her lunged forward, covered her mouth with his hand, and dragged her backwards.
"Melody, Melody," Kiki Sutton cried out in panic, seeing Melody Thorne being dragged away and stuffed into a car.
"Hey, you acted quite well in this scene," Luna Lancaster stood behind Kiki Sutton and spoke with a cold voice, tauntingly, "You act so well, how come you haven’t gained any fame? It’s truly a pity."
Kiki Sutton clenched her hand tightly, her eyes fixed on where Melody Thorne was taken, her expression pained.
I’m sorry, Melody, I’m sorry,
I’m sorry for you; this is the last time, please believe me.
"You said you wouldn’t hurt her," Kiki Sutton turned around, her eyes filled with resentment.
She would eventually seek revenge on Luna Lancaster for all of this.
"Of course, rest assured, since I’ve promised you I wouldn’t hurt her, I definitely won’t harm her, just detain her for a while."
