"Melody, Iโ€™m fine. You can go back first," Hans Montrose said. ๐“ฏ๐“ป๐“ฎ๐™š๐™ฌ๐“ฎ๐™—๐’๐™ค๐’—๐™š๐™ก.๐’„๐’๐“ถ

The nurse brought in lunch, and Melody Thorne walked over. "You should eat first. Iโ€™ll head back once you finish."

She felt something was off.

"Okay," Hans Montrose picked up the chopsticks with one hand, putting some food into his mouth. "My shoot might be on hold for a couple of days, so be extra careful when youโ€™re acting with Luna Lancaster."

"I know. Just take a good rest for the next two days," Melody Thorne handed him a spoon,

Seeing Hans Montrose finish his meal, Melody Thorne poured a cup of water, prepared his medicine, and was about to leave.

With a loud "Bang," the hospital room door was violently kicked open from the outside, hitting the wall several times as it swung back and forth.

Melody Thorne immediately jumped up from her chair, turning around to see a tall figure standing at the doorway, charging in with fierce determination. His gaze first landed on her, then shifted behind her to Hans Montrose, a dangerously fiery look in his eyes, as if he intended to kill.

The pounding in Melody Thorneโ€™s chest quickened.

Jared Quinnโ€™s earlier call had clearly been to find out where she was. He called on purpose, and she had lied to him.

Jared Quinn took a step forward, and Melody Thorne hurriedly ran to block his path. "Hans Montrose was in a car accident, so I came to take care of him for a bit. Whatever the issue is, letโ€™s talk outside."

Jared Quinn lowered his head, his eyes unreadable but carrying a hint of cruelty. He reached out, grabbing her wrist. "Didnโ€™t you say you were filming? Since when did you start lying so blatantly? Hmm?"

Hans Montrose got up from the hospital bed. He could clearly see Jared Quinn was furious and didnโ€™t want Melody Thorne to be dragged into it because of him. "President Quinn, thereโ€™s probably been a misunderstanding. I had a car accident, and Melody just came to see me for a bit. She was already planning to leave," he explained.

It wouldโ€™ve been better if Hans Montrose hadnโ€™t tried to explain. Hearing his explanation only fueled Jared Quinnโ€™s anger further.

He sneered, "Matters between a husband and wife are not for outsiders to interfere."

"Enough! Canโ€™t you try to distinguish right from wrong? Letโ€™s take this outside," Melody Thorne pressed herself against Jared Quinnโ€™s chest, trying to push him out.

"Melody," Hans Montrose looked at her with concern, wanting to follow,

To him, the unpredictable man wasnโ€™t right for Melody Thorne. She needed protection, not harm.

"Donโ€™t worry, they wonโ€™t get hurt," the butler stepped forward, stopping Hans Montrose. Even though the young master was angry, the butler knew he wouldnโ€™t actually harm the young lady. "Why donโ€™t you first take a look at the photos circulating online now?"

The butler offered a reminder. If Melody had simply come to see Hans Montrose, the young master wouldnโ€™t have lost his temper so greatly.

"Photos?" Hans Montrose sensed something was wrong, quickly reaching for his phone.

The photos online were ambiguous,

The rumors suggested they fell in love on set, and some believed they were a perfect match.

But Hans Montroseโ€™s fans were all vehemently cursing Melody Thorne, accusing her of seducing him for fame.

Hans Montroseโ€™s face gradually turned ashen. Ever since someone tried to crash into Kiki Sutton, he felt something was wrong. Now, who had taken these photos, and how did they remain unnoticed?

Outside the hospital room.

As Melody Thorne moved away from the room, her wrist was suddenly gripped by the man behind her, and he swung her against the wall.
