My Super Sassy Dad: Stop Running Away, Mrs. Quinn!-Chapter 215: Keep Your Voice Down
"It’s the actress Director Irving chose to replace Ivy," Hans Montrose trailed beside her, his burgundy suit particularly eye-catching, with a hint of coldness flashing in his seductive eyes, "It’s Sheryl Lancaster’s sister, Luna Lancaster."
Melody Thorne entered the hall, and Nina King immediately ran over to her, "Melody, Melody, look at this, your position is really under threat."
After chatting at the bar that day, Nina started calling Melody Thorne "sister," simply because her ambition was grand enough.
"Call me Melody," Melody Thorne’s gaze followed the direction Nina pointed.
Coincidentally, Luna Lancaster looked over at her too, with a provocative glint in her eyes.
Daring to snatch her sister’s man, she wanted to see what kind of person it was. She took a low-paying role in Director Irving’s play just to teach this woman a lesson.
According to the crew, Ivy had been bested by her.
When Luna Lancaster looked over, Melody Thorne shifted her gaze as if she didn’t see her at all and walked confidently to the counter, her warm yellow chiffon dress exuding charisma as she moved.
"Key," Melody Thorne extended her hand toward the counter.
"Here you go," the front desk prepared to hand the key to Melody Thorne, as it was arranged by the production team for the room booking, not expecting another leading lady to appear suddenly.
"This room is mine," Luna Lancaster snatched it directly, her temperament very fierce.
"You’re Melody Thorne, right? Haven’t you heard that at least a bit of courtesy is due when meeting seniors in the entertainment industry? Let alone whether you’re the lead or not, as a student who just graduated from Aethelburg Academy, you have no right to stay in the best room."
Melody Thorne leaned her arm against the counter, "Speaking of seniors, Miss Lancaster, indeed you’re a senior, after being in the industry for five or six years, though still stuck on the fringe. But I suppose Miss Lancaster knows the rules, like this key..."
"You guys know who it’s for, right?" Melody Thorne shifted the question to the front desk.
"It’s for Miss Thorne," after all, abroad is not like home, many don’t recognize Luna Lancaster.
"Lower your voices, I just saw a lot of reporters outside. If they hear, it might turn into big news," Melody Thorne curled her lips.
Luna Lancaster instinctively glanced outside the hotel; she had too many recent scandals and couldn’t afford more trouble.
The front desk took the opportunity to hand the key to Melody Thorne.
"You..." Luna Lancaster was about to lose her temper but didn’t want the matter to escalate, lest rumors spread about her snatching keys from a minor actress.
"Thank you," Melody Thorne politely smiled at the front desk and walked past Luna Lancaster to the elevator.
"I’ll make sure she pays," Luna Lancaster stomped her foot angrily.
Out of the elevator, Hans Montrose was still following her.
"Are you also staying here?" Melody Thorne tilted her head slightly.
Hans Montrose hadn’t told her he was the male lead. He decided to keep it mysterious until tomorrow and turned into the room next to Melody Thorne’s.
Melody Thorne "..."
Quinn Family.
Little Timmy sat in his room dazedly, neither wanting to eat nor sleep.
The butler felt a bit helpless. Timmy was okay, just uninterested in eating or sleeping, while downstairs Jared Quinn was having quite the tantrum.
"Young Master, shall we go and make a call to Missus?" the butler suggested, "You could ask her when she’ll be back."
A slight expression finally appeared on Timmy’s otherwise blank face, but he shook his head, "Heart must think it’s unhappy being with Dad, so she left on her own. If she comes back because of me, she’ll still be unhappy."
Butler "..."
