Ivy almost fainted upon hearing Harold Chapman’s words from his mouth, "You’ve got it wrong. No one here has brought contraband drugs, and no one intends to harm Master Quinn."

Harold Chapman’s gaze fell on Ivy. There was still a lingering smell of drugs in the room, "Miss Adler, we’ll need you to come with us. You’re the only woman in this room, so you are highly suspect."

The Adler Family has a criminal record; Caleb’s father was imprisoned due to contraband drugs.

"No, I didn’t bring contraband drugs, I didn’t bring them!" Ivy screamed, wrapping the towel tightly around herself. "I honestly don’t know what’s going on; you can’t arrest me!"

"The drugs in the room were brought by Miss Adler, correct?"

Ivy’s face changed dramatically. She often schemed against others, so how could she not understand that she was the one being schemed against now? Was Melody Thorne doing this intentionally?

"Melody Thorne, it’s all that wicked woman Melody Thorne’s doing! Believe me, you have to believe me!" Ivy shouted, "That woman exchanged information about The Thornes with Master Quinn to deliberately frame me."

Harold Chapman was shocked, clearly not expecting this twist. They rushed over upon receiving a call from a woman but didn’t expect the dignified Empire President to be sold as a bargaining chip by a woman.

He turned his head to Jared Quinn’s face, which was as untouchable as a celestial being, with anger burning.

"Take her away," Harold Chapman ordered coldly, not letting this woman continue to spout nonsense, "Find George Adler and bring him back for investigation as well."

Ivy trembled violently and fell to the ground, biting her lower lip tightly.

She was careless, thinking that Melody Thorne could possibly be indifferent to a man like Jared Quinn.

She had been scheming against her right from the start.

Ivy was taken away, and Harold Chapman looked at the man beside him, "Master Quinn, the young lady is just outside. Our people detained her as well; should we bring her in now?"

"Okay," Harold Chapman stepped out of the suite, and as Ivy was being taken out, Melody Thorne was being brought in.

"Melody Thorne, how dare you deceive me!" Ivy screamed upon seeing Melody Thorne, "I’m telling you, no one knows where your parents are except my dad, so you’d better wait until they die out there and collect their bodies!"

Melody Thorne indeed planned to make a deal with Ivy, but she knew Ivy’s words weren’t trustworthy, so she informed Finn Thorne beforehand, letting his group of small-time thugs wait around. When Ivy spilled the address, someone was already there.

The address clearly was fake; Ivy might have known it but wished death upon her, making it impossible for her to tell the whereabouts of Mr. and Mrs. Thorne.

Moreover, she recalled the crimes committed by George Adler and the use of contraband drugs in her previous life, perfectly overturning The Adler Family. So, she called Harold Chapman, not expecting him to have her detained as well.
