He had seen too many fans getting overexcited over a small, insignificant honor achieved by their idols, as if it were some major accomplishment, and then going around bragging about it.

In the entertainment industry, this might be understandable, but in the Life Card Duel community, the prestige associated with different competitions is crystal clear. If the fans really acted this way, they'd only be met with ridicule.

Tang Lili took this All-Star competition very seriously.

These past few days, she had been constantly asking Shen Sui for advice on building an Idol Card Set.

Having interacted with her, Shen Sui understood Tang Lili's abilities.

Though not at the top, if luck were on her side, she might actually manage to defeat opponents who are far above her rank.

If Tang Lili really did defeat a ninth-rank Life Card Master at the All-Star competition, it was hard to tell if that would be a good or bad thing for her.

Of course, since the competition was still days away, Shen Sui's main focus now was resolving the issue with Mitole.

Time was tight, and it was impossible for Alice to help Shen Sui take down all the Ancient Dragon Princesses, but tackling three or four should be manageable.

After taking a short break, when Shen Sui reopened the Dueling Device, Alice was already up, ready to set out for the city-state where Onira resided.

This time, accompanying Alice was Misha.

Misha looked at Alice with great curiosity. 𝑓𝑟𝑒𝘦𝓌𝑒𝑏𝑛𝑜𝘷𝑒𝘭.𝒸𝘰𝑚

Last night when they returned, her mentor's attitude toward Alice had drastically changed. If they had been merely cordial before, now there was a noticeable respect.

She had only seen such respect before when Delia visited the castle.

Could Alice really be connected to Duke Grafa somehow?

"Teacher Delia is doing some pre-battle preparations." Delia's shift in attitude also made Misha much friendlier, "Today, I'll take you to meet Miss Onira."

"Huh? Really?" Alice said with some disappointment.

Misha thought Alice was worried about lacking enough reputation to meet Onira and smiled, "Don't worry, I'm well acquainted with Miss Onira."

"Yaya, that's not it." Alice waved her hand, she was just a bit let down by Misha's figure.

When Dragon Princesses took people flying, it was mostly in a carrying manner.

Delia had a good figure, providing Alice's head with a nice cushion.

But if it were Misha instead... Alice would have to consider whether she needed extra padding.

Naturally, nothing ever went smoothly for Alice.

When Misha was taking Alice towards the city where Onira was, they happened to encounter a dragon species invading the city.

"It's Omri's army!" Misha's expression dramatically changed upon seeing the scale of the attacking dragon species below, "It's an A-level invasion!"

"A-level?" Alice asked, puzzled, "Is it serious?"

"Very serious," Misha replied. "The invading dragon species are at least level twelve in strength, and judging by the numbers, there are at least over a hundred of them."

Alice glanced down, "Huh... not as many as I killed yesterday."

...

Misha suddenly felt she was overreacting.

This girl, although only level nine, had solid combat achievements.

"That's Onira," Misha pointed to a white figure surrounded by dragon species.

"Let's hurry and give her some support!" Alice exclaimed excitedly, pulling out the Dawn Staff.

Without waiting for Misha's objections, Alice broke free from Misha's grasp and dived toward the center of the battlefield.

Flames enveloped Alice as she heavily struck a dragon species creature.

"Hey!" Alice spread her arms, announcing her arrival, "Lady Alice, at your service!"

"Who here is Omri?" Alice taunted the surrounding dragon species. "Dare to face me in battle!"

Every dragon species around, even the Dragon Princess in combat, turned their gaze to where Alice had landed.
