*Inside the void*

In the world of darkness, deep into the Divine Tower where no eye could see, Arthur was amidst the toughest battle he had ever been through. A battle so tough, he felt like his mind was going to explode.

Inside that place, surrounded by all the blind people, three silhouettes moved at breakneck speed, clashing in a large festival of noises.

*BANG* *BANG*

The sounds of fists and arms clashing echoed in the entire place. The battle was quiet and yet brutal. Arthur was moving as fast as he could, using every ounce of mana in his body to fuel his speed and strength.

He was like a flash, dashing everywhere around him, clashing with both men at the same time. His punches were lightning fast, and his reaction speed was ridiculously high. After all the monsters he had killed and quests he had fulfilled, his power had reached a level where it was on the verge of breaking through what a creature of any kind could be capable of.

His body was being reconstructed to fit that evolution. His bones were now as tough as diamonds and as flexible as paper. His muscles could expand and retract basically instantly, and he wouldn't suffer any injuries.

He was a true and utter freak of nature. However… What he was fighting was simply… not human at all.

'Behind me!'

*Swish*

Arthur felt someone appear in his blind spot. Quickly, he turned around and tried to block, only to suffer a blow to the stomach that sent him flying several steps. He bounced on the ground before landing on his feet.

But, the moment he stopped, the other man was already on the move, sending a flying kick to his face. Their speed was considerably higher than the men he had fought earlier, so Arthur's senses were completely useless against them.

He had to fight purely by guessing where they would attack from and what they would target. Using all the experience he harvested from fighting endless battles, he was able to start understanding how to guess his enemy's next movement.

After his battle in the red pearl where all his senses were rendered useless, Arthur was afraid such a situation would happen again where he has to fight blindly. So, he started practicing not using his senses in certain situations and relying on pure prediction.

The method was filled with flaws as Arthur can't really see the future, nor did he have enough battle experience to be right most of the time. But he still decided to learn how to predict the future now rather than regret it in the future when death would mean his end.

That still doesn't change the fact that Arthur was long, and he was losing badly.

*BANG*

"AGHHHH!!"

The kick hit Arthur's arms so violently that he felt his entire body shake from the impact. He was sent flying several meters back as he slammed into the wooden wall, breaking it.

The people around him moved away as Arthur stood up slowly. Blood trickled down his forehead from the hit he had sustained. He was breathing heavily, and he was suffering from severe pain everywhere in his body.

In front of him, the two men stopped and looked at him, or at least faced him since their eyes didn't really see.

'Dammit… I knew it was going to be hard. But, this is way harder than I expected.' He mused. 'They have perfect coordination as if they know where the other will be before they go there. I can't keep up with their speed either, and all I have are my predictions. I can deflect some attacks using that method, but I'm fully exposed a lot of the times.'

Arthur could see all the flaws he had in this battle, and he knew that if he didn't find a good opportunity, he was going to lose. Looking to the side, Yonathan was watching silently. His expression was as calm as ever, so Arthur couldn't figure out if he was disappointed or not.

The man could easily hide any thought he has, and it wouldn't require him to make any effort.

'He might end the fight at any given second if I don't show any potential.' Arthur clenched his teeth before he sucked in a deep breath and tried to calm his nerves. He was quickly losing his composure, and that would only spell his end. So, he decided to take a step back and regain control over his mind.

'Calm down, Arthur. You still haven't lost yet. I already have a clear idea of how they will fight and how they will approach me. They are very organized and very aware of the entire situation of the fight… But there is still one thing that I can use…'

At that moment, an idea started slowly forming in Arthur's head. An idea so obvious yet also so unexpected that he almost wanted to laugh at the ways his mind worked sometimes. But it was still, by far, his best chance at actually winning that battle.

"Man, you two are actually powerful. I couldn't do anything this entire time." The boy spoke as a smile formed on his face. "I still want to know what kind of technique you guys use to move that fast… I wish I could have it, it will really up my level a lot."

"Hmm?" The old man hummed confusedly as if he noticed something rather odd about Arthur. His demeanor had suddenly changed. 'He had been struggling this entire time… Why did he suddenly regain confidence?'

With his wisdom and experience, the old man knew that it wasn't a coincidence, and it was clear in the boy's eyes. Arthur had found some kind of solution to his problem.

Nobody noticed that except for Yonathan. But he still didn't speak to warn them, as he wanted to see what this odd kid had in store for him. Something told him that what he was about to witness would make him reconsider everything.

Arthur stepped forward and channeled his mana. His arms next to his hips as he kept them open… A stance that didn't indicate that he was about to resume fighting.

The blind men couldn't see that. They could feel his presence, but they couldn't see what he was doing. So, they decided to simply resume the assault. Their target was very much on the brink of defeat, and he won't be able to hold on for any longer.

*Swish*

Like ghosts, they vanished from sight. When Arthur saw that, he instantly activated one of his skills… Frost Flame.

A burning fire ignited in both of his hands as he slammed them down on the ground with immense power. The burning flame pierced the wood and froze it instantly before quickly starting to spread everywhere.

However, Arthur didn't stop there as he fused the flames with even more mana. They burned bigger and bigger, and the entire area around him was suddenly submerged in burning ice.

The entire diameter of the battle arena shifted. Pillars of ice appeared on the surface, rising a few feet off of it. The two men stopped as they felt what was happening.

"Another battle starts now~"
