My Scheming Little Devil-Chapter 971: Dump Her
"Have you taken care of it?" Third Young Master Jun looked at her askance.
"Nonsense, who do you think I am!" Ye Lu mimicked his usually arrogant tone, huffing.
Third Young Master Jun couldn’t help but laugh, yet his eyes were filled with pride, "I knew you could do it."
The woman he fancied, how could she be anything less.
"Don’t get too happy just yet, in a bit we’re going to fly over an airspace controlled by armed forces. Even though the negotiations were successful, there’s no guarantee they won’t have a change of heart. If something were to happen later, would you resent me?"
These uninternationally recognized militants, aren’t known for any moral principles or promises, and certainly aren’t the good sort.
Until they had flown over, her heart was in her throat.
"No matter what happens, we’re in this together." He took her hand, his eyes deep and fearless, smiling arrogantly, "Even if we do get shot down, I’ll have no regrets."
Ye Lu gazed at him, but did not pull her hand away.
So, holding hands, they crossed that perilous stretch without letting go.
Passing through F Country shortened the route; what was normally an hour and a half’s journey was reduced to just half an hour.
Sooner than expected, they flew into the destination, the most renowned country in the Middle East of West Asia, a paradise in the desert, a global financial center, brimming with exotic atmosphere, a prosperous nation flowing with black gold, H Nation.
And now, after several hours of flight, the country was welcoming the first light of daybreak, a thousand rays of golden light rising from the edge of the desert, at the end of the azure sea.
It felt so beautiful and full of vitality that it gave a sense of burgeoning with new hope.
Ye Lu’s eyes lit up as she gazed at the distant sunrise.
As soon as they got off the plane, a group of Arabs in white robes approached, looking like doctors and soldiers, who swiftly put Third Young Master Jun onto an ambulance.
Ye Lu sighed in relief, took the two children down the plane, but then saw amidst the group of tall and mighty Arab men, a young man with an exotic and handsome look.
He had the profound features of a Westerner, eyes like the stars in the night sky, unfathomably deep, and uniquely attractive. He wore an elegant and fashionable turban, his hands adorned with top-tier luxury accessories, and carried himself with an air of indescribable nobility, clearly no ordinary personality.
Ye Lu, a bit embarrassed under the gaze of so many Arab men, still confidently approached and extended her hand to shake the man’s hand.
"Hello, I’m Ye Lu, thank you for your help."
No sooner had she grasped the young man’s hand than an older man nearby showed a look of reproach, "This is Prince Yilide, you are being too impertinent."
Ye Lu was astonishingly taken aback, she was actually face-to-face with the son of the king of this country.
Seeing this display, she had assumed he was an official of high rank, never expecting to encounter an actual prince. No wonder he could arrange for the flight path and various visas in such short time.
Prince Ilid didn’t mind it much, very Westernized and open, he appraised her with interest,
"I’ve known about you for some time. King spent a fortune to auction the ’Atlantis Sunset’, that famous golden diamond was placed in front of you for a proposal, yet you had the guts to reject my brother. Just for that courage, I have a great deal of respect for you. You are the first, and that is admirable!"
Ye Lu couldn’t help but laugh. She thought he was bringing up this matter to settle a score, to stand up for Third Young Master Jun. Instead, he admired her, which made it apparent he was a man with a great heart, and an interesting one at that.
