Standing in front of the two visibly displeased brides, she lifted her chin in a proud manner, looking at them with contempt.

This dismissive gazelle from Ye Lu, akin to watching a buffoonish act, made both Bai Sijia and Yuan Jiayin feel both angered and nervous.

"Security, please get rid of this troublemaker who’s disrupting the wedding," Bai Sijia called out, her voice shrill and sounding nearly hysterical, clearly struggling to control her emotions.

The guests were taken aback by her reaction, feeling that it was a bit inappropriate.

"What’s the rush? This isn’t your place to command around." Ye Lu retorted, waving it off. Her demeanor was smooth and calculated, seemingly in control of the situation. She ignored Bai Sijia, focusing on the priest. She switched to a foreign language.

"You’re the voice of God. Father, aren’t you interested in hearing why I object to this wedding? Isn’t everyone else curious as well?"

Ye Lu unhurriedly scanned the room with a calm gaze. While the guests didn’t reply, none could mask their interest.

"What about the two grooms? Don’t you want to hear why?" She asked, her smile directed at Third Young Master Jun and Shang Jingchen.

The two grooms had displayed interesting expressions since her arrival. Third Young Master Jun merely raised an eyebrow, maintaining an aloof posture and giving nothing away about his feelings.

Shang Jingchen, on the other hand, looked confused, a flicker of doubt in his eyes.

"Speak," Shang Jingchen said, breaking the silence.

Everyone was taken aback by Shang Jingchen’s response, including Yuan Jiayin who gave him a surprised look. What did he mean by that?

"According to procedure, we should indeed hear what this lady has to say. Why do you object to this wedding, and which couple are you objecting to?" The priest adjusted his glasses and asked.

The room fell silent again as everyone awaited her answer. They all wanted to know whose wedding she was here to disrupt – her ex-husband’s or her ex-fiance’s.

Yuan Jiayin and Bai Sijia were even more nervous, each hoping that Ye Lu was targeting the other.

Amidst the silence, Ye Lu spoke up, "I object to the wedding between Shang Jingchen and Yuan Jiayin."

Yuan Jiayin froze, glaring at Ye Lu with pure resentment. This woman was supposed to be in love with the third young master, yet she choose to pick a fight with her instead of Bai Sijia.

Shang Jingchen gave Ye Lu a strange look.

The conclusion was a bitter pill to swallow.

"What’s your reason for objecting?" the priest questioned.

"I can’t bear to see the poor groom being deceived by the shameless bride, who falsely claims to be pregnant to trap him, when she isn’t pregnant at all."

The room erupted in shock at Ye Lu’s words. The guests stared at Yuan Jiayin in disbelief. After all, they had heard rumors that Yuan Jiayin was indeed pregnant and had even threatened to jump from a building if Shang Jingchen didn’t marry her.
