Chapter 1891: Chapter 1891: So Strange

If your Major General comes, I’ll be turned into a pancake.

Forget it, seems like I’ll have to rely on myself. She glanced at the doorway and saw someone actually standing guard, apparently to prevent her from escaping.

She got off the bed and walked to the window to take a look. To her delight, the window was large enough and didn’t have any anti-escape installations. She thought that perhaps at night, she could find a way to sneak out through the window under the cover of darkness.

I wonder how high this place is. Is it safe to climb down?

Yiyi couldn’t help but lean out and saw that it was the third floor, with a small lake below. She was instantly delighted. If there’s water, even if she accidentally falls, it would cushion her fall and prevent her from breaking any bones.

But that little lake seemed a bit strange. When she took a closer look, her delicate and exquisite face immediately turned pale with fright. She tremblingly pointed at the creatures moving in the lake and turned back to ask Little Ya, who was tidying up, in disbelief.

"Hey, what’s in that, that, that lake?"

Little Ya came over, looked down with her large eyes full of indifference, and her voice was adorably innocent.

"Crocodiles, they’re the Major General’s pets. Aren’t they cool? They can swallow a person whole in one bite, and their teeth are super sharp."

Yiyi’s face was full of confusion. Why could such an adorable girl use such an innocent voice to say something so horrifying? That Major General Fengye is indeed perverted, keeping crocodiles as pets.

But after seeing that lake below, Yiyi’s legs turned to jelly, immediately giving up the idea of escaping from here. She felt faint. If she fell down there, she’d become a gourmet meal for the crocodiles, dying a terribly gruesome death.

What should she do? Should she force her way out? She did have some martial arts skills. She could possibly trick the guard at the door into coming in and knock him out. But she didn’t know how many more guards were in the house.

Giving Little Ya a few glances, Yiyi tentatively chatted with her, probing for information about the personnel distribution in the villa.

To her surprise, there weren’t many people in the villa at all, just maids, chefs, gardeners, and other ordinary workers. There were no bodyguards, and the person at the door was just stationed there to watch over her in case she felt unwell and needed immediate medical attention.

Yiyi was shocked. This kind of arrangement didn’t seem like they were taking strict precautions against her.

Are they underestimating her, thinking she can’t escape, or is it something else?

She didn’t understand, but it was good news for her. With so few personnel and no bodyguards, not escaping would be doing herself an injustice!

"Miss, don’t stand by the window in the wind. If you catch a cold, I’ll be scolded to death," Little Ya muttered, noticing the bandage on her shoulder and scratches on her leg. "Don’t move around, touching the wounds isn’t good. It’ll be painful. I’ll carry you back to bed."

With that, she unexpectedly lifted Yiyi with ease, carrying her back to the bed and gently placing her down, kindly tucking her in.

Yiyi was completely stupefied, unable to say a single word the entire process.

This dainty girl surprisingly had immense strength, easily lifting her more effortlessly than a man, which totally scared her.

A powerhouse, definitely a powerhouse. Could it be that this house is full of hidden talents with extraordinary skills? Yiyi’s vision went black, feeling truly dizzy.

Indeed, for the next two days, Yiyi couldn’t find an opportunity to escape. Little Ya, who was attending to her, would appear and disappear like a ghost, practically like a surveillance camera. At the slightest hint of disturbance, Little Ya would overreact, afraid that Yiyi would bump into something, wishing she could cradle her in her hands.
