Chapter 1861: Chapter 1861: That Smile Is So Sly

The teacher in white looked visibly shaken, his eyes gradually changing as he observed Jun Yiyi with even more curiosity and surprise, along with a hint of appreciation.

"You’re really a smart and clever girl. I’m impressed. You actually came up with this way. Alright, bet accomplished."

"Haha, not having to eat bugs is great, otherwise, I’d be throwing up for a month." The teacher in black was instantly delighted, looking at Jun Yiyi with newfound respect, almost in awe. "You’re really something, girl, you even managed to solve the trick with that black-hearted radish. That’s impressive, I admire you. Once you start studying here, if you need anything, just come find me at Lab 250 in Building C. I’ll look out for you."

Jun Yiyi was both surprised and delighted. She didn’t expect this black-clad teacher, who seemed hard to get along with, to be straightforward and to repay kindness. After just helping him with a small favor, he immediately decided to support her.

In this unfamiliar school, it’s indeed unpredictable what kind of trouble she might encounter. Having a teacher’s support would certainly be a huge advantage.

But Lab 250... she couldn’t help but feel puzzled, thinking that this teacher is a bit clueless!

Then these black-and-white duo escorted her to the interview room.

Jun Yiyi knocked and went in. Inside were three teachers, two men and one woman, all looking serious, with cold, lofty expressions, entirely different from the slightly comedic proctor teachers she had just encountered.

The previous two were more approachable and had no sense of distance, whereas these three fully displayed the arrogance and haughty posture of this prestigious school. Clearly, they felt it was humiliating for the school to assign them to interview a girl who hadn’t even graduated from primary school.

Jun Yiyi frowned inwardly, noticing the impatient and disdainful looks from the teachers. Obviously, even if she performed well, they wouldn’t rate her fairly due to their prejudice.

For the written test, she deliberately hid her abilities, scoring just enough to pass.

So, she couldn’t afford any missteps here.

These three people wouldn’t let her pass easily.

What should she do?

...

The interview took about an hour to finish.

Afterward, the first to storm out of the room was the lead female examiner, clutching the documents. She looked upset, angry as she walked out, ranting, "What a situation, this little girl from such a small country is unbelievably rude. We were here to interview her, to ask her questions, yet she turned around to question us instead. How outrageous, this girl is too impudent, with no manners whatsoever. I will never allow someone like that to enter our school!"

"Exactly, she didn’t respect us examiners at all, she definitely deserves the lowest score," the other two examiners left, also fuming.

The last to stroll out was Jun Yiyi, who didn’t appear flustered upon hearing their complaints.

Instead, she slyly rubbed her chin, wearing a sinister smile.

"Wow, little girl, that’s quite a wicked smile. Aren’t you afraid you’ll fail for offending the examiners like that?" The black-and-white duo appeared out of nowhere, watching her with great interest.

Jun Yiyi was startled by them. These two were really unpredictable, appearing out of nowhere, silently.

"They were biased against me from the start. It would be unfair anyway, even if I acted politely and humbly, they wouldn’t let me pass! Might as well do the opposite. I won’t let these three people decide my interview score." Jun Yiyi’s voice was powerful, full of determination.
